I highly recommend going to JAM Fitness Coaching regardless of age and skill set. Matt and Jon truly want to help clients live their best lives and I feel the best I have felt in fifteen years at age 55!
I was motivated to pursue a healthier lifestyle, but I just didn’t have the right tools to get started. I didn’t know where to begin and I felt stuck. Then when I joined JAMS, I received valuable nutrition guidance and customized strength training. Matt and Jon truly take the time to understand the client’s specific journey, challenges and concerns. The guidance and fun workouts are different each time, and you feel a great sense of accomplishment every time you leave the gym. The coaches are so patient if you are not quite getting the steps to a specific exercise and work with you to complete the exercises.
I have been going for almost five months, and I can’t believe what a monumental difference it has made in my life already. My only regret is that I wish I would have joined sooner. I feel healthier, stronger and more energized! I highly recommend this gym and Matt and Jon for personal coaching. What they offer is life changing!

I can’t say enough good things about JAM! I went into my first session not knowing what to expect, as I have been intimidated in the past by fitness instructors who either 1) have the perfect body and you think you could never get there 2) it’s just a job to them and they don’t actually care about you as a person. It’s different here. Jon and Matt are different. They explain the why behind everything we do together, they’ve listened to me and helped me through some stressful days. They provided a balance to my life that I didn’t know I was missing and I am forever grateful. If you’re on the fence, just take the plunge. It’s so worth it. I will share one of the most amazing things that happened to me during my journey here - I spent 3 hours building IKEA furniture and I was PAIN FREE while doing it. That was a HUGE deal for me!! I can’t say thank you enough!!!

I have been going to JAM Fitness Coaching for nearly 4 years and highly recommend their services.
At JAM you have an evaluation to determine your fitness abilities, needs and wants, then a workout program is written for you.
It makes a world of difference to have a fitness professional make a plan for you to follow and then helps you to do the exercises correctly. The workouts are changed and updated based on
improvements you make or other issues that may arise.
The trainers here care about your health and make you feel comfortable and welcome in the gym.

I've been a member of JAM for five years, and I can't imagine going anywhere else to get fit and have fun doing it. It's the best part of my weekly routine! The trainers, Jon and Matt, take their time getting to know each client and gear our personal workouts toward our strengths, weaknesses, and limitations, giving us what's needed to succeed in our fitness journeys. These workouts are great for your body AND mental health.
I've gotten so much stronger during my time at JAM, and can say that at age 63, I've never been in better shape. Having had rotator cuff surgery and several pulled muscles over the years, I've bounced back stronger due to the workouts and having Jon and Matt encourage proper form and weight limits.
There is also a big variety of equipment available to make your workouts challenging and fun.
Working out in a clean and welcoming environment is a priority, and JAM delivers. I'll stay here as long as Jon and Matt will have me and what my body allows.

I've been a client at Jam fitness for 2 years now, and I can honestly say that Jon and Matt changed my life. I have hyper mobility and was suffering from poor circulation, joint and muscle pain, from my job as a hairstylist. Not only have I built up muscle tone to help support myself on the job, but they have taught me so much about the science of the mind and body. Going to Jam and working with Jon and Matt, helped me create a routine of better eating, better sleep, that I stick to, and awareness to what my body is signaling me and what it needs. I recently moved further from Jam Fitness gym, but I am a lifer!! I can't say enough about what I've gained since starting training with Jon and Matt. Life changing and I love them for it. They are also such uplifting, good hearted, supportive guys, that have become my friends!! If you are thinking about starting training, just go and get an assessment. That's how I started, and I was unsure about what I was getting into, since I never did any kind of regular working out. One of the best decisions I've ever made!!

The guys of JAM have been excellent to work with. I am a highly reluctant gym goer; I do it because I have to, not because it's my favorite hobby. I couldn't be happier with my experiences at JAM. Both Jon and Matt are wonderful and I love the encouragement they give. It isn't a "no pain/no gain attitude" but rather a motivation that they believe that you have the power to gain what you seek from your workout, whether it be fitness, weight loss, strength, lifestyle changes or stress reduction. I still remember calling for information and to schedule a free assessment. I also remember, like it was yesterday, driving there for my appointment and thinking of a million reasons not to go. I was self-conscious, embarrassed, nervous, and anxious because 'this kind of gym' was for people that could lift weights and were fit. It was not for people like 'me'. I never lifted weights, I was not strong, I had knee/hip/ankle pain and was out of breath thinking about working out in this capacity.
Fast forward nine months, I am not the same person I was that first day. I am stronger, have less to no knee/hip/ankle pain, and look forward to my workouts both at the gym and at home. I have never been this active, and I look forward to getting stronger and stronger every day.
Here is what I love about JAM (no special order) and why I would recommend it to you:
(1) The trainers (Matt, Jon, Yvonne) are knowledgeable about everything from fitness training to nutrition. They truly care about YOU.
(2) It does not matter your body type, strength, or goals. The trainers assess what YOU need, what works for YOU and apply it.
(3) What worked yesterday may not work today and the trainers understand that. They adjust the workout to fit what YOUR body needs.
(4) They truly listen and coach you which is different than telling you what to do. They explain/demonstrate the technique, how it affects your muscles and body, and observe you to readjust the workout if needed.
(5) No two workout days are ever the same.
(6) The gym is clean and spacious.
(7) JAM believes in YOU even when you struggle to believe in yourself.
Don't let the emotions or thoughts get in the way like I almost did. Take that first step into JAM and see for yourself that you belong and that they are there to welcome and guide you! I highly recommend this gym and am a huge supporter of the team.

By far the best gym I've ever been to. Like many others I originally came here to lose weight because nothing else I tried was working. After working with Jon, Matt, and Yvonne I not only lost weight but I learned so much about nutrition, how to properly exercise, AND how to feel confident and comfortable in my own body. The trainers here truly care about their clients and we are all one big family. I am now the healthiest, strongest, and most confident version of myself. If you are looking for a place that will make you feel comfortable in and out of the gym, and that will give you more knowledge about yourself and your health than when you started then I highly recommend JAM. :)

I came to Jam with a goal to get stronger after going through back surgery and being unable to work out at the gym without consistently reinjuring myself. Jon targeted exercises that were easy on my back and slowly but surely I became stronger and learned what I can and cannot do. I have an arsenal of exercises now just for my body! Jon is knowledgeable and pushes just enough, without being bossy. I am grateful that I found this little gym in the South Hills. If your working towards a goal, no matter how small, they can help you get there.

I love JAM! The trainers Jon and Matt are so knowledgeable and motivating. They take time with each member correcting form and pushing you to go further than what you “think” you can do. The workouts are constantly changing so you don’t get bored and aren’t always doing the same movements. I can’t recommend them enough. You won’t find a cleaner gym or better trainers around!

My wife have been attending Innate for just under 8 months. If you are concerned about form or the same old work each day. Matt and John will ensure you are doing each exercise correctly and each workout is planned and completely different from day to day and even week to week which, we love. Innate fitness is such a unique experience! I tried a chaos class during a ladies night event (which was fab by the way) and fell in love. They make modifications available based on your fitness level while motivating you to push to your max and take as little modification as possible. How? I don't know to be honest but it was so great!

I decided to give this brand new gym a try and I'm happy I did. Equipment is all brand new - the instructor was friendly and good at motivating me to push myself when I started slacking. I love the diversity of the workouts and the open gym setting. It made me feel like I wasn't suffering through the workout on my own. Highly suggest giving it a shot if you are on the fence - you won't be disappointed.
