If you're looking for real Pilates—not watered-down workouts with trendy branding—this is where you need to be. June Hines Pilates offers Classical Pilates the way it was meant to be taught: with precision, care, and deep knowledge of the method. You will feel results after each session and see results after multiple sessions. I’ve practiced Pilates on and off since my twenties, and now in my forites, I’m more grateful than ever for the strength, alignment, and mental clarity it's helped me build. The instructors are experienced, supportive, and know how to work with all kinds of bodies—at any age.
This studio is welcoming, body-aware, and serious about helping you move well and feel better. Working with June and Dale has also made me love doing all kinds of fitness workouts in addition to my Pilates practice. Worth every penny and time invested.

I’m not only a teacher but have been an online client ever since I discovered this gem of a studio. I take classes with June, Clare and Greg all of whom are very seasoned teachers, who know their craft and encourage their students to grow their Pilates practice.
I’ve continued to take classes as well as privates with Clare who has a keen eye for the body and challenges me to have a deeper understanding of what I can do, especially in those moments where I have self doubt. I so look forward to my classes and my privates!

I’ve been going to this studio since November of 2021. When I started my muscles were very tight and now I’m the most flexible I have ever been. All of the teachers are kind, extremely knowledgeable, and able to tailor your Pilates practice to your abilities. I’ve done classes, one-on-one private lessons and I’ve also brought my mom and sister and did private lesson with them. They do reformer and mat Pilates classes. Unlike other studios, they keep their reformer classes to 3 people so you really get the attention and instruction needed to have a safe and enjoyable class. If the prices are intimidating they usually have a monthly special for discounted classes.

I started working with Claire just over a year ago, and I've seen major improvements in general strength and flexibility. For the first time since I was 5 years old, I can now touch my toes without bending my knees. For years, I'd regularly tweak my ankles when running or hiking, and these injuries no longer happen. I have far fewer back injuries. Claire was able to meet me where I was, provide exercises at the appropriate level, and gradually bring me to a much better place. This has been a worthwhile investment in my health.

Prior to developing a very nasty degenerative spine disease throughout my entire spine, I was your typical gym rat guy training 5 to 6 days a week lifting weights, taking yoga and swimming( I still swim). I have since had to greatly modify how I exercise and stay fit which has been quite a challenge. Prior to meeting and working with June Hines, I received very good group pilates instruction with a reputable and well respected studio, but as my spine issues progressed, I found myself in need of modifications, many of which made it impractical for me to take group lessons. I began working with June several years ago, and she has single handedly kept me upright and in tip top shape. She is a seasoned and expert clinician and knows exactly how to modify for my body without sacrificing the benefits of pilates.
This is Romana pilates, not some overly bastardized version of pilates which, there is, unfortunately, plenty of out there. Romana was Joseph Pilates "right hand man". She studied and worked along side of him for years and eventually took over his studio when he retired. June was mentored by Romana. June is the real deal. You are not going to find this type of instruction just anywhere.
I have had years of PT before and after spinal fusion, but most of PT does not work on the entire body, just the area of concern. Ask any anatomist, and they will tell you that indeed, everything is "connected". June and her instructors know this and bring this holistic approach to their instruction. Regardless of whether or not you are an elite athlete or, like most of us, just trying to keep up with gravity and stay strong and supple, you will find The June Hines Studio and her instructors to be the best investment you can make in your body. I am a living example. You can't go wrong with June, Katy, or Claire( I am sure the rest are equally as good, but these are the people that I have worked with). Pilates is not just for dancers. I would challenge any body builder to take a couple of lessons and see just what they have been missing!
My husband does not have injuries and takes group classes at the Jenkintown studio with Claire. It has been amazing watching him become more supple and flexible and strong. Bravo Claire!
My niece perviously took classes for years at multiple studios in the area, is now working privately with June after I made the introduction. After a few lessons with June, she commented to me that she had come to the conclusion that June's instruction was like no other and that maybe she was never even doing pilates prior to working with June!
So there you have it. I am grateful for the caring instruction that I receive from June, and I credit her for helping to keep me in the shape that I am in today!

I love everything about June Hines Pilates. All of the teachers are knowledgeable and very patient with a newbie like me! I would definitely recommend taking some private lessons before taking a class if you are new to Pilates. I always leave my sessions feeling limber and flexible and tall! My only regret is not starting 30 years ago!

As a gracefully aging man of 73, I have found that Pilates has significantly improved my strength, energy, and balance. June's studio has provided me with expert personal training in authentic Pilates techniques weekly for the past two years. The instructors I have worked with are very knowledgeable and are great at paying close attention to the subtle movements that deliver the best results from the exercises. I strongly recommend this studio to anyone who would like to try the Pilates approach and wants to be sure they are getting training that is true to Joseph Pilates' carefully developed methods.

I've been a client of June Hines Pilates for over 10 years, and can't say enough good things about the studio and the instructors. Caring, professional, expert, thoughtful, and creative are a few words that come immediately to mind. This is a low-key, non-competitive, non-judgmental, but very high quality studio.

True Pro. I came in wanting to know more about classical Pilates method, and to get started on my journey from start to becoming an instructor at some point. My past injuries had me wanting private instruction to make sure I got proper alignment and corrections. I picked the right person. June is a true pro, and has a great way of explaining how to envision proper alignment.

I love June Hines Pilates. They are the only classical studio in the area and the only studio that uses Gratz equipment. At a classical studio I know I can trust the teachers and I know that the quality of their teaching is not only the highest standard but also will use the entire method of Pilates. Each session is focused on giving students personalized attention because classes are small. Problems can be targeted and strengths built on. Gratz equipment is also the best. Nothing sinks Pilates into your body the way proper equipment does! This is a great studio and I will be a student here for a long time.

My wife and I have had the pleasure of taking private Pilate lessons with June Hines for many years. There is simply no better teacher or studio!
June and her team are experts. I have had two back surgeries, and taking private lessons has helped my core tremendously. My wife has lower back issues as well, and has benefited greatly as well. June Hines Pilates deserves 5 stars!

It doesn't seem possible that I have been a student at June Hines Pilates for close to a decade. June and her staff have shepherded me through many phases of physical and emotional growth. As a result, Pilates is a permanent part of my life.

I started Pilates in 1996 with June Hines when she worked at the Pennsylvania Ballet where I was receiving Physical Therapy. Pilates was part of my rehab and I became a convert! my body changed in terms snout how I hold myself, my stomach flattened and waist became a bit smaller. More importantly I became more flexible, stronger and my balance improved. I wanted to share Pilates with others.
I am now a Romans’ certified Pilates instructor and I work at the June Hines studio in Jenkintown. I love teaching and still take glasses and private lessons to keep in shape. I recommend Pilates to everyone!

I started at June Hines Pilates in Dec 2015 and was hooked! I was looking for a workout that would strengthen my core as suggested by a physiatrist and orthopedist for a chronic back problem. I started with private lessons and gradually moved to classes which I continue today-one mat and one apparatus each week. Originally I went to the Jenkintown studio for a few years and then I moved to Doylestown where June has another studio. I jokingly say it was a prerequisite for where I bought a house!
I hated to leave my jenkintown instructors but now I would feel the same way about my Doylestown instructors. They are all highly trained for years. Not all instructors are. So if you’re looking to start pilates or switch do your homework!!! The classes here are small-3-4 people so the instruction is very personalized by teachers who really know what they’re doing!!!
It’s a great total body workout that I’ll continue with as I continue to age.

I love the studio in Doylestown, and my teacher has helped me develop core strength that I never had before. I have neck and lower back issues, and what I've learned and gained from Pilates has really lessened the degree and frequency of pain.

Professional, clean, well organized studio fully equipped with all the machines and props necessary to make Pilates accessible, enjoyable, and physically rewarding for all levels. My instructor is attentive, professional, and works with my abilities while also pushing me towards better form, core engagement, and breath. Overall physical well being can be felt with each lesson. I had privates rather than group sessions and found them to be so worthwhile with more focus and attention towards my needs.

My wife gave me a gift certificate for my birthday several years ago. I thought that was like me giving her a football, that it was only for women. I’m still going twice a week and enjoying it quite a bit. June and Sharon are great instructors, knowing just how hard a workout I can do on a particular day. I highly recommend this studio.

I always wanted to do Pilates and tried it at home many years ago without success; feeling it was too hard. A friend of mine, many years later, suggested I do Pilates at June Hines. I figured I’d try a private session or two and if all went well I’d join the class. I honestly thought I’d have the same issues as before and quit before making it to the mat class but weeks later I’m still going and absolutely loving it! I feel more relaxed during other workouts and a big difference in my flexibility. June(not June Hines) is an amazing instructor! Very patient and hands-on during every class. I’m trying to convince everyone and anyone that I know to join Pilates. The classes are small, instructors friendly, knowledgeable and the fellow mat mates are a real pleasure to workout with.

My experience with June Hines Pilates has been completely positive. I have been a client for more than two years, beginning at the recommendation of a physical therapist who was treating me at a cancer center. June and her staff are highly trained, very intuitive and kind. I am stronger, more aligned, comfortable and have more energy as the result of my work with June and her associates. Friends and family, seeing my progress have taken up Pilates for themselves.

This review is long overdue, because June Hines Pilates studio truly is a hidden treasure! I worked with June for 2+ years and she always invests so much attention and compassion into her clients personal sessions and group classes. As a physical therapist myself, it is important for me to work with educators who are deeply invested in Pilates and have education of anatomy and kinesiology. I highly recommend June and all of her instructors because they are well educated to modify movement accordingly to any specific needs or injuries. Words won’t do it justice for how much June Hines Pilates has helped me, so please do your body a favor and try it out for yourself!
