Kanna Fitness is the best! Even when I am lacking motivation, I feel a pull to show up because of the community and the coaches. Everyone is always ready to cheer each other on, look out for each other, and have fun. What an amazing find Kanna Fitness is! I was so tired of the same old workouts. I tried Kanna Fitness and I absolutely love it. Update: I have now been coming here for 2 YEARS and I am beyond thrilled with my experience and results. I originally came here because I finally decided to get off my post-COVID butt and get into shape. Plus, I had also recently gotten some higher-than-optimal cholesterol lab work so it was time to move. In those two years here, I have brought my total cholesterol, LDL and triglycerides down considerably and my HDL up by double digits! Not only am I seeing results in my bloodwork, but I am also seeing the physical changes as well. I am truly the healthiest I have ever been I owe it all to Kanna.
I started with a 3x/week membership and changed it to unlimited about 6 months in because I was able to get a good routine and I haven't looked back. No matter where you are in your fitness journey, I would still highly recommend Kanna - the coaches do an outstanding job at making sure catering the movements to your ability while also helping you get to the next level as you progress. I've never been to a more welcoming and genuine place from a health and community perspective - it's truly one-of-a-kind.

I retired from from the US Marine Corps in October of 2024 and began coming to Kanna Fitness on a regular basis in January 2025. I could not be more impressed with the culture and professionalism created by the Kanna Fitness Staff and nurtured by the members (Teammates) who attend every day. Having reached a point of near-dispair with my lack of fitness, I canvassed the Montgomery county area and selected Kanna Fitness as my gym. I chose them because of their wide range of exercise sets (weights, calisthenics, rowing/biking, etc. etc.), their seeming sincere interest in evaluating my needs/wants and capabilities, the time they continue to spend in teaching me the proper protocals for each set (back straight, elbows in, knees flexed, etc. etc.) and the wide variety of workouts for each class. I like having each day's program set and supervised. I particularly appreciate the great number of schedule choices each day (I chose 2X week, mid-morning). The coaches and members I've met have been friendly, warm, patient and encouraging and decidedly non-judgemental. Each workout is tailored to the individual (weights, number of reps, degree of difficulty) and, because I'm a glutton, I try to "push" and leave each session exhausted, but feeling as though I've made another small improvement to my "vehicle". While I don't enjoy exercise - at all - with their support, I'm confident I can/will make this relationship last.

I am about a month in but loving it so far. I’ve tried more traditional gyms but never would get half as good of a workout in as I do with the classes at Kanna. I really enjoyed the Basecamp model where you start with 1x1 sessions with a coach. It was a great way to get familiar with all the exercises and get some initial soreness out of the way. You even get to join your first class with a personal coach by your side helping explain how the classes flow.
The best thing to me is the community of the people at the gym. My first class I was still getting used to everything and throughout the workout you have others motivating you. Everyone including the coaches are really helpful. I’ve found to really enjoy starting my day with the workouts at the 5:30 am class but there are plenty of options to fit your schedule. It’s helped my physical and mental wellness tremendously. If you’re considering it, take the leap!

As of writing this review, I've been a member of Kanna Fitness for just short of 3 months. I could not be happier with my decision to join this gym. The workouts are fun, challenging, efficient, and always changing. The coaches and community have helped me leave my comfort zone and ease my anxiety when it comes to working out and setting achievable goals for myself. Prior to joining, gyms were the scariest place in the world to me, but now I actively look forward to seeing familiar faces and pushing myself for 60 minutes. I can safely say it's been one of the best decisions I have made for myself recently. I just joined Kanna a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it! It is always scary and hard to start your fitness journey. I attempted to workout on my own at a gym but struggled with knowing what to do and holding myself accountable. Kanna provides me with that structure and community I need to keep myself working out. UPDATE: 2 weeks after fully committing to Kanna I broke my wrist and thought it was over. How does one do CrossFit with a broken wrist?? I was ready to sit in misery for 6 weeks. But no. The coaches at Kanna said “just show up, we’ll help you”. AND THEY DID. Even other members showed care and concern and offered encouragement. 6 weeks after surgery I was participating in the Intramural Open. I can’t imagine a better place to be with a broken wrist.
Kanna has completely changed my perspective of crossfit! I put off trying out Kanna for 5 years because I was one of those people who would "never go to a crossfit gym". But just a few weeks into my membership I am blown away by how much I love not just the workouts but also the people, coaches, and community. The people are so nice - they say hi and welcome and great job! The coaches actually pay attention and help you! So happy I finally showed up.

I feel very lucky to have run into the owner at the local Fall festival last year. I decided to come in for an intro and I was immediately impressed with the level of professionalism, cleanliness of the space, and knowledge of the coaches when I first walked in. Kanna was different than your typical gym.
The workouts are the perfect blend of strength, interval training and cardio. The Level Method makes even the most challenging movements accessible to beginners. The coaches are great about tailoring instruction to your level. You quickly learn to do all those things you couldn’t do before!
The owner and staff make a real effort to build a fantastic community here. Everyone reaches out, introduces themselves and cheers you on during the workouts. Kanna is actively involved in local charitable efforts and hosts regular social events where people will bring their kids and family. The people here are genuinely great and you feel like you’re part of something special at Kanna.

CrossFit Kanna has been a fabulous place to work out. If you are intimidated by the idea of crossfit, I assure you that Kanna is a wonderful place to give it a try. Yes, there are people there who are crossfit enthusiasts, but far more folks are just there to work hard, be challenged and get stronger in an environment that is warm and friendly. From day one, people were welcoming and encouraging. You can always count on other people in the class to cheer you on during a workout and fist-bump you when it's all done. And I can't say enough about the coaches. They are pros who take the time to break down every movement, show everyone how to scale the workout, and challenge us to push ourselves but in a safe and supported way. I especially appreciate the way that they give the same level of attention to beginners as they do to the "varsity" crossfitters in the room. This kind of inclusivity and commitment to teaching distinguishes Kanna from most other places out there in the fitness world. They are the best!

As someone who has been to many gyms and tried lots of classes I can say Kanna is the top of my list. The class sizes are never so big that you can’t get proper coaching, the workouts are challenging and fun. I really like the level method training they use so everyone knows how to scale work outs accordingly and keep track of their progress. Having now gone to Kanna Fitness for over 4 years, Kanna fitness continues to be a great workout experience. the coaches are friendly and knowledgeable and they spend the time to make sure everyone is doing the movements with proper form, and working out at the appropriate level. Kanna is also a lot more than just a place to work out. It is a place where you can meet new friends and give something back to the community.
I have been going to Crossfit Kanna for exactly three months now. Having previously never done any barbell training, I was a bit apprehensive about diving into this kind of fitness routine. Through the basecamp classes and continuing into every regular class, the Kanna staff do a fantastic job of coaching the movements and instructing everyone on proper form. The classes are programmed in a way that every motion can be scaled to make a challenging working for beginner and expert crossfitters alike. I also appreciate that every day there is a different workout. So while many of the exercises repeat, you will not get bored doing this same thing over and over.
The community aspect of Crossfit Kanna is what really sets it apart from other fitness experiences. In any class at Kanna you will find people working hard, trying to improve while at the same time providing encouragement and positive reinforcement to the other members of the class. And while I have only been going to Kanna for three months, it is clear that many members of this box have relationships that run far deeper than just working out together. That sense of community and belonging was something missing from my fitness routine that I did not even realize until I experienced it.
When evaluating a fitness program, it is also important to get results. In just three months, my body composition has improved measurably, I feel stronger, I can lift heavier weights and I have noticeably more power when mountain biking up steep inclines. So if you are looking for something new to energize your fitness journey, you will not find a community that is more welcoming while at the same time pushes you to achieve your goals while having fun getting there.

I have family members who belong to CrossFit Kanna and asked several times about what it was like. I could see the results they were getting and how much they enjoyed the CrossFit Kanna community. So when my sister invited me to a class I went. I was a bit nervous but that totally melted away within the first few mins. I knew I needed to push myself and found that CrossFit was that place. The coaches are outstanding! They help you scale a workout if need be. They know who you are and what you need! I have never belonged to a gym like this. I’ve been coming to CrossFit for a few months now and have seen such results in myself. I feel better and stronger! I look forward to seeing what more I can accomplish! It will be 2 years in a few months since I joined Kanna Fitness. My feelings about it haven’t changed! With the help of the coaches I have been able to become stronger and confident in my workouts. I've been at Kanna for about 4 months, and joining is one of the best choices I've ever made! The classes are challenging, and the coaches push you (in the best way!) to achieve more than you thought possible. With varied class times, there really is a class time that works for everyone. I’ve walked into plenty of other gym group-fitness classes and felt like a fool because I couldn’t get the movements/grabbed the wrong weights/couldn’t keep up…. But have never felt that way here. We just moved to PA in the middle of the pandemic, and desperately were looking for a gym with a sense of community.
The coaches are friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating.
I love that they have you go through a bootcamp in order to gage fitness abilities, I’ve been to so many gyms in the past and have seen individuals get severely hurt because they weren’t taught the basics. Kanna goes above an beyond to teach and correct sloppy movements to avoid injury.
There is a great energy in this community.

The staff at Kanna has worked tirelessly to make sure our community is able to safely continue hitting our fitness goals, despite all of the curveballs thrown our way this year. Now on my second round of remote workouts with Coach Hack at Kanna Fitness due to COVID and I couldn’t be more grateful for his guidance. Each time Coach Hack has met with me to discuss what equipment I have at home and what my current goals are. From that, he tailors at home workouts for me that include links to each movement ensuring I’m performing each one appropriately. Post workout we check in on how it went and should I not do the workout the day planned, Coach checks in with me. It’s awesome to have to accountability and careful, tailored coaching even from afar. I look forward to bringing this routine back to Kanna and being with the great community the staff has fostered here.

I reluctantly and nervously joined Crossfit Kanna four months ago. I had read a little about Crossfit - enough to be both intrigued and intimidated. I learned from the coaches that while Crossfit has a reputation for being only for extreme athletes, you really don't need to be one to get started. So far, that has been true for me. I am pushing myself and getting stronger and faster every week. What I love about Crossfit Kanna: the workouts are totally different every day so there's no boredom and you're always challenging a different part of your body, the movements are functional so getting stronger at them will help you live your everyday life better, the coaches are both motivating and knowledgeable about safe lifting and how to modify movements for your skill level, the class sizes are small so there is plenty of individual attention, there are classes at all times of the day even on weekends so you'll likely be able to work them into your schedule, before a workout there is plenty of instruction and practice on the skill you'll perform in the workout, the workouts are extremely efficient - there is no way you could get such an intense workout in as short a time wandering around a traditional gym. I have also come to enjoy the camaraderie and supportive atmosphere - sure, the fist bumps feel a little silly for someone my age, but the positive spirit is here and everyone is pulling for you at Kanna! If you are looking for a new challenge and are on the fence about crossfit, stop by Kanna for an introduction. If you get started, it will quickly become the best hour of your day.
UPDATE: I'm approaching my two-year anniversary with Kanna Fitness. Even through the COVID-19 shutdown, the coaches and staff did an amazing job working with us on at-home workouts to keep us in shape. Then, we were able to return to the gym for outdoor distanced workouts throughout the summer. They have done so much to keep us safe during this time while also helping us reap the mental and physical benefits of exercise. I am in better shape now at 48 than I was at 30, thanks to Kanna Fitness.

28 DAY CHALLENGE
So, my wife and I have been attending Crossfit Kanna for several months. I'll preface by saying I'm not one of those crossfitters that live and breathe it... I just want to get there twice a week and I'm good. I really just want to be in good enough shape that I will be able to keep up with the kids in a few years.
Chris approached us about a 28 day nutrition challenge and my wife was all about it, which meant so was I. After roughly 5 minutes of the presentation, it quickly became apparent I knew nothing about eating healthy. Now don't get me wrong, I would say we probably eat as healthy if not more healthy than almost everyone I know.
Now I won't bore you with the details of my lack of nutritional knowledge, but I will say if you are planning on joining Crossfit Kanna, have already joined and would like another challenge, or maybe you have plateaued and need a boost, try the 28 DAY CHALLENGE.
My wife and I ended up winning the couples challenge and I am not saying that to brag, well maybe I am a little ;) But, my actual point is that my weight loss was directly attributed to the nutritional aspect of the challenge. I ended up taking only one crossfit class the last two and a half weeks, so in reality I should have had even better results.
The good news is the although it ended last week my wife and I are continuing to eat as if we are still doing the challenge. Do yourself a favor and give it a shot. The only thing you have to lose is weight.

I dropped in 5 times on winter break, very easy drop in procedure. Gym is immaculately clean and organized, great community feel. The box size is average for east coast standards, but they do a good job keeping class sizes manageable - make sure you sign up in advance if you want a guaranteed spot! The box is a little hard to find your first visit, it is in an industrial compound turned retail - it is back by the train tracks, but worth the trip! I had two excellent coaches during my visits. Programming was very well scaled for all ability levels as well. Great local coffee shop next door for after!

Went to CF Kanna today for a drop-in WOD. My wife and I just moved to the area and are looking for a great community with knowledgeable coaches. I definitely found that at CF Kanna. Ashley led the class with an easy to understand demonstration of the wod, an appropriate warmup and helpful cues during the wod. There were only 5 members and myself in the class. And all classes are capped at 12 participants, so you know you’ll get the supervision and/or support that you want. I’m excited to go back and to see some of the alternative workouts like partner wods and team sports. I also want to try out the total body scan technology they use for serious goal tracking.

As a strength coach as well as a recreational exerciser I'm very glad to have met the CF Kanna staff. Joining the CrossFit identity in early 2013 I've only met two other affiliates whom I'd recommend, nation-wide. I'm very happy to say that CF Kanna definitely made the cut.
From their warm ups to the wods, it makes sense!!!
They're not throwing stuff at the wall to see if it sticks.
It was extremely refreshing to find another facility that wants to hold true to what CrossFit has to offer us.

I started classes because I had been lifting weights for many years but still lacked decent core strength and fitness. I needed to be challenged. My co-working space is next door and while walking there several days a week I passed by the open doors and watched the classes going on. People were working extremely hard but the vibe felt very positive. There was a good cross section from beginner to athlete, young to more "senior" people. The thing in common was the desire to work and get fitter and stronger. So I joined and have not regretted it. Even when there are workouts I can't do as prescribed, I can always scale it so that I can accomplish the sets and have a goal to beat for the next time. Chris, Rachel, and the coaches always make the workouts intense but fun.

I just finished my 21st workout, and I can already feel my body getting stronger, tighter and more lean. Before Kanna, I always worked out alone because working out in a gym environment seemed intimidating to me... joining Kanna Crossfit was way beyond my comfort level. But I made the leap and found that the other members and staff are really friendly and make you feel like you're a part of the group. The staff is friendly and they make the workouts challenging and fun. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to do many of the moves due to a bad knee (many years of running!) but the instructors always give me an alternative exercise so that I am still working out hard, but not causing further injury to my knee. It's super cool and intriguing that beginners and more advanced athletes are in the same class doing the same workouts! Each individual just scales the amount of reps/weight to their own abilities. I highly recommend Crossfit Kanna to anyone who wants to get in better shape and challenge themselves!

Highly recommend trying out this CrossFit gym! Smaller class sizes and great coaches makes this gym great for new beginner trying to learn the techniques correctly and safely, but they’re definitely not afraid to push you once you’ve got the technique. Every workout is different, challenging in new ways, and you’ll surely be sore.

That was 3 months ago and I haven’t looked back since. CF Kanna is a great place to do Crossfit for any level especially for a beginner like myself. I am still relatively new to crossfit. When the crossfit box near my work place (Philadelphia) closed, I was moping around the house for three weeks because I didn't know what to do for exercise.
My husband and neighbor gave me a few recommendations near my work place but the schedule didn't fit. My neighbor suggested Kanna. I was a bit apprehensive at first because I was used to a 30 minute schedule.
About the box:
Kanna offers 60 minute schedule and many time slots for all 7 days. The WOD's are always challenging and never boring (or easy 😁). I feel like I've worked on muscles that I didn't even know existed. The sore feeling is great! Coaches are very knowledgeable and they actually know you. I do not feel pressured to lift heavier, risking an injury. Instead, I look forward to the encouragement to test my limits. On workout days, I still struggle to get out of bed to drive to Kanna. I know it is a mental game. I still run the same number of excuses in my head, but I know that once I am there, the coach will guide me to complete my workout. After my workour, I am energized and I feel accomplished for the rest of the day.
Environment:
The environment is very clean and neat. The equipment is new. You can tell that there is a lot of thought put into the design and layout of the box. Even small things like a coat rack and little shelves for your personal belonging to toiletries in the bathroom speaks to how meticulous and organized this box is managed.
Community:
There is a warm feeling about the community. Everyone is very upbeat and we fistbump 👊 all time. The encouragement is always helpful!
Technology:
The app we use to schedule our timeslot for workouts is intuitive. We use another app to log our results which helps you see how you do compared to yourself and others.
I am also very impressed with the social media used at this box. It keeps us connected. Also, the activities such as nutrition challenge, and game night are great ways to keep the community close.
Personal accomplishments:
I now know that in case of an emergency I can carry my husband on my back. I am still working on my form and stamina, but I am happy to report that I can carry my sons 🙆♂️🙆♂️ upstairs when they fall asleep in the family room. As a mother of two, I need to stay healthy and fit to keep up with them.
Goals:
I hope to be able to do one pull up and one good push up in the near future.

Crossfit - I can’t say enough about it and I need to share my experience because my husband and I had the wrong idea until we joined Crossfit Kanna one year ago. It has been all around amazing - mentally, physically and emotionally. Prior to joining we had let the word “Crossfit” intimidate us into thinking the workouts were designed only for elite athletes and we would be incapable of doing them, or would look really dumb and get injured trying. We finally took the plunge, took a class, and were very pleasantly surprised at how wrong we were. We met a member who was pregnant, another who had a 6 week old baby, others either recovering from a sports injury, work injury, or surgery, those who had never worked out before, and then those who had. The beauty of crossfit is that you can go in at any level and then scale and modify each class to your capability, you can go to as many or as few classes as you are able per week, you learn proper form (so important!), efficiency, and so much more. Being a(n older) mom of 3 (young ones) myself, pushing 50 and having been at this for a year, I have never felt stronger, nor knew my body as well and what I’m capable of as I do now, which has ultimately carried over into my home and work life. It took me out of my comfort zone at a regular gym (after having kids I became afraid of pushing myself into doing new things in a workout for fear of injury, yet, was getting injured doing repetitive workouts anyway!) and allowed me to see just how much more I can do, in less time and with proper form and an overall better outcome. The challenge you put on yourself in crossfit is truly invigorating. Crossfit Kanna has become a family to my husband and I, and one of encouragement, support, and motivation. The members and trained staff are truly GREAT and I would absolutely, 100% recommend crossfit, namely Crossfit Kanna to anyone (and NO, I’m not getting a free punchcard for saying any of this)!!!!

I have traveled to many Crossfit Boxes in the US and abroad. Crossfit Kanna is remarkable in the following areas:

The toughest part is committing to join. My wife joined and she loved it, so after months of harassing I attended base camp.

Wow, where do I begin I joined Crossfit Kanna about six weeks ago. I live close by and witnessed people running past my house in the Ambler yards. I asked my husband, who is a Philadelphia police officer, what are those people doing over there. Well needless to say he checked it out and told me a gym opened up over there. I drove by a few days later it was closed but I grabbed a brochure off the door. I went online checked it out and said to myself Linda its time for a change. I sent an email to Chris he responded right away so we set up my consultation and from there I did my base camp with Dori. Dori was well versed in Crossfit and was very patient with me. I remember my last day of base camp we did a “warm up” and then Dori said okay lets do a “work out” and I said to myself what I thought I just did a work out!!! I have to say it has been a great six weeks everyone is so nice, welcoming and encouraging. I have a nineteen year old daughter with autism and a feisty eight year old daughter they keep me busy and on my toes so I look forward to spending some “me time” at Crossfit Kanna my goal is to be fit and fabulous over forty. I highly recommend you check it out for yourself.

Crossfit Kanna is a lot more than just a gym, it is a community. As you are completing your workout everyone is always cheering you on. I used to go to my normal gym and do the basics like run on a treadmill, stair climber and some arm machines but after doing the same thing day after day I started losing motivation to get to the gym and that is when Crossfit Kanna helped me. I am currently a college student so when I come in for the breaks I workout at Crossfit Kanna. The coaches are wonderful and always encourage you to do your best and push yourself. While I am at school I use the app the gym has called Triib. On Triib I can check to see the workout the classes will be doing for the day and I try to incorporate that workout at my gym at school. I also can see my progress on the app which helps me push myself to do better. Everyday I enjoy walking into Crossfit Kanna to see familiar faces, experience amazing coaching skills, and have a hard workout which varies daily. If you are tired of your daily routine at the gym and want a workout that will challenge you this is the place for you!

I have been a member at CrossFit Kanna since January 2018. Having been a previously active person who focused mainly on cardio (running/spinning) who had never picked up a barbell in her life, I feel like a different person now! Base camp was a great way to get familiar with the movements, and time is spent in each class (regardless of how experienced the attendees are) reviewing the movements and discussing modifications to make sure everyone is able to execute them safely and with the most benefit to their ability level. I have seen drastic improvements in my strength and endurance in the past five months and found a community that truly doesn't care what you're able to do, just that you show up to do it. The encouragement from coaches and other members is incredibly motivating and it is such a wonderfully supportive place. I can't recommend CrossFit Kanna enough.

Owner & Coach Chris had me from hello....when he told me that you can only pay monthly because he wants to earn your business every month. The fitness industry can be very frustrating, but Chris has created a not only a business, but a community where the workouts are challenging, empowering, and safe, and the coaches and members are welcoming, friendly & supportive. All levels are welcome so don’t let the CrossFit name intimidate you. I can’t recommend it enough :)

My experience at Crossfit Kanna over the past month has been awesome. I did not begin to take my fitness seriously until a few years ago. After trying the standards, jogging, lifting, etc., I felt that I needed something more. Chris and Dori made the onboading process easy and helped me get acclimated with the various movements and routines to prepare me to join group sessions. Once I began to attend classes I found the other members to be very welcoming and encouraging. I have learned a lot about myself since joining and look forward to attending classes each week. I would recommend Kanna to anyone looking a different, challenging, and rewarding fitness experience.

You may come to Kanna for the workouts but you’ll stick with it for the community!! The camaraderie is unlike any gym. While I have some experience with Crossfit, I’m still a learner on many levels. The best part of Kanna is how welcoming they are to people at all levels of skill and fitness. The coaches and members are encouraging and supportive, motivating you and challenging you to do better. I’d highly recommend Kanna to anyone, but especially to someone who wants to try Crossfit but has been skeptical or intimated about it.

First thing that I did after coming to States was search for a CF boxes near me, I’m so lucky that I choose Crossfit Kanna! People there are really nice, hard workers and sooo kind. Coaches are really really good, always trying to help and push yourself! So if you’re looking for really great community and hard workouts, you definitely need to come!

CrossFit Kanna a review.
It starts with a question of the day. This usually breaks the ice and laughter occurs which allows us to forget about our workday. We then do a warmup that gets us ready for an intense workout that is scaled at your fitness level. The coaches now show us the movements we will be going through and correct us along the way if needed. Then it starts…….... We usually have a strength component to work on either getting our PR (personal record) or working with moderate weight levels. The Metcon (metabolic conditioning) is next and will get your heart rate going. CrossFit Kanna does all of this in a consistent and strong coaching method while always monitoring our progress and demonstrating when needed.

Crossfit Kanna is an amazing gym. After stalking Crossfit gyms for over a year I finally came across Crossfit Kanna right before they opened. I dedcided to pull the trigger and join. After doing one workout I knew I would be hooked. Chris has created an amazing community at Kanna which makes you want to keep coming back class after class. I have attended several Cross Fits over the years but nothing compares to CrossFit Kanna. Chris, the owner, is patient, welcoming and supportive. I recently attended my 21st class and cant wait for 21 more. It is not only a community but an awesome workout where you are pushed to be your best, try your hardest and break barriers. I needed a place to help me get back into shape. This isn't a typical gym by any means. Kanna and the coaches push you and teach you how to be better and get stronger. You can scale all of the daily work outs. They make everyone feel comfortable as soon as they walk in the door. I wish I would have started here sooner! It's a great community of people!

Crossfit Kanna is a great family friendly box. I am an experienced Crossfitter who was at a different box prior to joining Kanna. I was looking for a place where my kids could workout side by side with me. Coach Chris was open to the idea of allowing my young teenage children to join the adult classes versus them having to join a child/teen class. This made all of the difference for them and their performance. He treated them like every other member and everyone was very welcoming. My son especially has loves attending class and has seen incredible progress in all of his lifts and movements. This has translated to out of the box success with baseball. His baseball coach has commented how much he has improved due to his increased strength from Crossfit so it is a win/win. I personally love being able to workout side by side with my kids. Since every movement is scalable why not let teenagers workout with adults. Coach Chris does a great job on scaling the workouts either up or down based on what the member needs.

I joined CrossFit Kanna in June and it was a great decision! I had been going to another gym and just strictly running on a treadmill. (Using weights in a large gym setting was intimating to me!) I needed something different and challenging, and CrossFit Kanna made that happen! Coach P works with you to make sure the workouts fit your needs. I was a little nervous when I first started classes but everyone is welcoming and encouraging. I am so happy that I made the choice to join and I cannot wait to see my continued progress. If you're thinking about trying out CrossFit, this is the place to go!

I'm glad that I joined CrossFit a month ago. I was very unfamiliar with all of the workout movements when I first started but Coach P was able to take me step by step on how to correctly perform these movements. Each class you will always learn something new and challenge yourself! Definitely recommend trying this gym out if you are around the Ambler area!

Best gym in the Ambler area! While I'm new to CrossFit, I'm not new to testing out different gyms or exercise classes. Coach P is an excellent coach and makes you feel welcome and comfortable right from the start. I was so excited to hear Coach Plentus was opening a box in Ambler that it was a no-brainer to become a founding member. The BEST crossfit gym in the area. If you are looking for more then just a great work out, this is your place. The people there are becoming another family for me. They are very involved in the Ambler community.
Chris, owner & coach is fantastic. He takes the time to get to know you as a person, along with your ability. He knows how to modify each exercise so you can feel comfortable and successful. The gym opened 3 weeks ago and I have already been able to lift more then I have in the 20 years I have been working out. Very encouraging!

I have been doing crossfit for about 2 and 1/2 years now and have had numerous coaches and must say that Coach P is one of the best if not the best coach I've had. I was referred to his gym by fellow crossfitters who had similar experiences with him as a coach at other gyms. What they said has proved to be true - he is very knowledgeable about crossfit in general including olympic lifting techniques and he puts together high quality programming. In addition the gym that he recently opened is clean and organized ( with a really cool sign in the entryway that he made : ) He also understands how to develop a real sense of community with simple things like writing everyone's name on the board at the start of the class and helping us all cheer each other through the WOD. I honestly can say that I look forward to going to the gym now for the workout part and not just because my friends would rag on me if I didn't show up. Thanks, Coach P, for bringing a great gym and your crossfit and coaching skills to Ambler!

After moving to Ambler I was looking for a gym. Unfortunately there was only Planet Fitness. I decided to drop into Crossfit Kanna and I immediately loved it. The workouts and members are great and fit every level of fitness. The coach knows how to work with different fitness levels and help them meet their fitness goals. Definitely worth checking out and trying it out! While I was there there were also new people as well and they were extremely welcoming to all the new faces which was really important to me.
