I’ve been going to Krux for a while, and while the gym itself has decent equipment and a lot of space, I’ve had an ongoing issue with one of the front desk staff. Specifically, there’s a blonde-haired woman who works up front — and every time I’ve interacted with her, the energy has just felt… off.
She consistently gives me a judgmental or dismissive vibe, and it's uncomfortable. Whether it’s the way she looks at me, how she responds (or doesn’t), or just her overall demeanor — I leave those encounters feeling unwelcome. It’s subtle, but it adds up, and it’s not the kind of energy you want to deal with when you’re coming to a place you’re paying membership fees too.
I don’t know if it’s intentional or not, but I think staff at any gym — especially at the front desk — should be approachable, friendly, and professional with EVERY member. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been my experience here, and it definitely affected how I feel about being part of this gym, which is why I had no choice but to cancel my membership.

Best gym in town and around - I have seen them all. Friendly non hassle staff, very clean, modern and new equipment, spacious, natural sun light and not overly crowded, and very fairly priced. Cant recommend it enough!

Do not go here if you are bothered by the heat! The AC in most areas is pretty bad and the owner shows no interest in fixing it. There is also only one semifunctional water fountain (not cold or filtered). Equipment and weight selection is good and not too crowded.

My boyfriend and I have been with Krux Fitness for about 2-3 months now, and we love it! The gym may not have the pristine feel of bigger chains, but it’s perfect for what we need—and affordable, which allows us to enjoy weekly training sessions with their in-house trainer, Kenny. Kenny isn’t just a great trainer and human; he’s also a life coach, and that’s what really sets Krux apart. His guidance goes beyond fitness—he’s helped us stay mentally strong, focused, and motivated. Krux is a hidden gem, and Kenny is absolutely a huge part of it!

I’ve been a member for 5 months and have no complaints. Good equipment, they have 24 hour access for a one time payment which is awesome. Morning group seems to know eachother pretty well which is cool.

Stopped in today for a test run and wasn’t impressed. The place is disgustingly dirty. There are dust balls all over the floor and on the bottoms of the equipment everywhere throughout the gym. Had most of the stuff I use, but also didn’t have common equipment in every gym. Ie hip abduction and adduction machines. Most of the equipment was old and dated, but I guess it would do for a dirt ball. Won’t be joining

I had a frustrating experience with Krux Fitness when I tried to cancel my membership. I provided a two-month notice, well ahead of my contract's end date, expecting a smooth process. Instead, I was charged for three additional months after my supposed cancellation.

When I reached out to resolve the issue, I was informed that their policy requires payment for two months after cancellation, despite my prior notice. This felt unfair and misleading. The management was unhelpful and seemed disinterested in addressing my concerns.

Overall, their policies are not customer-friendly, and it seems like they prioritize profit over client satisfaction. I wouldn't recommend this gym if you value transparency and good customer service.

Krux is great. Clean, and the staff is super chill. Basketball courts could use some TLC, however.

Two words for what makes this gym awesome: Kenny Durham.

Kenny is the gym's resident trainer and fitness/bodybuilding expert, and he is the real deal--meaning he delivers results.

Kenny has a deep understanding of physiology, nutrition, and all the "tricks" that make workouts more effective. He completely transformed not only my workout routine but my entire approach to how I eat and exercise. I've lost 10 pounds in the process and am on my way to making even more gains. He's passionate about his work and isn't afraid to hold you accountable to your goals.

Here's the other mind-blow: For all his expertise, he isn't one to self-promote or brag. He's participated in and won bodybuilding shows (as recently as last year) and has trained actors and fitness models who need to be in shape for their livelihood. He's the complete definition of a hidden gem who deserves not to be hidden.

If you are looking for results-oriented training from someone who knows EXACTLY how to get you there, Kenny is THE MAN, as long as you put in the work. Pure excellence.

I use the basketball court and part of the court is warped or the floorboards are up. Hope they fix it soon. It's been like that for a while. We also pay a fee every year that goes towards keeping the gym up to date.

I rarely say this but this gym is great for everyone from beginners to experts. They have equipment for both and it’s spaced out well. Everyone is nice and polite.

The gym owner makes sure everyone feels safe and doesn’t put up with creeps or jerks.

Oh also there’s pick up basketball in their basketball court which is fun and everyone gets playing time.

First I cancelled (paper documentation and all) because they claimed my child was not a “proficient” walker and couldn’t attend the child care. Fast forward 8 months later they started charging me again. Went in person to tell them to stop. Fast forward another year later, started charging again despite new credit cards!!

Fraud alert. They have continued charging my card despite me going in person, canceling membership & multiple calls. Their transactions now show up as “Crux” Fitness not Krux. It is highly suspicious and now the only thing I can do is fight the transactions and disable my credit card. Nothing else I have done will stop them from charging my card.

A large gym that is feeding off the prior gym. Total Body.I called for a free trial day to try the gym. They don't offer any! I was told a 10.00 fee for the day. So you may loose potential clients to save a couple bucks.

Krux Fitness is awesome. It’s a huge gym with equipment for everyone! Huge weight room, huge cardio room, basketball court, large room for yoga class, spin bikes, heavy bags, sauna, great classes, and a lap pool! Staff are very friendly and always around. Locker rooms are clean and in great shape. Great place! Really fair price for all that you get.

Changed my review. Owner helped out a lot with my cancellation and everything. All things taken in to account they should seriously reconsider the towels for safety reasons but they have Great staff and a very friendly owner. my quarrel was only with the cleanliness, hopefully it improves so i can come back

There is no working AC throughout the gym except for one room. The pool has been convinently under construction all summer. A water fountain has been semi broken for as long as I can remember with a sign that says we are fixing it as soon as possible. Hardly any warmup/stretching space and no equipments (foam rolls, bands, etc.). Th soap in the bathrooms are diluted with water. There are signs on the wall saying no paper towels in the gym area. That's going to be so unsanitary. They want people to sign up for their towel service for $3/month. I understand their concept of saving the earth but it should not be by forcing the customers to pay extra. If you need a low weight plates (2.5,5, and 10lb), you have to walk around the gym to find there. There are hardly 10-12 of them and during the peak times, you have to wait for the plates.

The pros: Good gym with tons of equipment. Quite a few squat racks so you rarely have to weight. Over half a dozen benches, and a variety of DB ranging from 5lb to 120lb.
