Just joined the past week. Everyone is very courteous and helpful. The classes are great. Instructors are super nice and I never feel like things are too advanced that I couldn’t participate (trust me I am no athlete) but I love to try. Lockers are clean and fresh towels/supplies are nicely stocked. Parking can be hit or miss but you can always find a spot. Smells really nice for a gym too. The amenities are great and kids academy is always open when I go. Kids can stay up to 3 hours a day. There are parents night out where you can drop kids from 5p-8p and return to pick them up. The equipment is great. They have all kinds and brands and machines you just aren’t getting at Edge or LA Fitness. Great stretch and relaxation spots to help you recover. Haven’t tried spa yet but looking forward to it. Cafe is good. Can order ahead so you don’t have to wait. I have seen other reviews that there’s been a change from what it used to be but to be honest this is a pretty nice gym and I see why it’s expensive. It’s a getaway not just a gym. I can have time for myself, work out and not worry about the kids being safe or in good hands. It’s got everything. So far so good. Always neat and clean. As far as layout I think it’s nice too. I never feel like there’s a machine I want to use that isn’t available. Pool can be down here and there- can be busy. No setup fee, month to month only -

Half the massage tables are down most of the time. Only have one charger for normatec compression also cleaning the steam and sauna during prime hours of the day they only clean it once a day but it’s the baffling the times they do it. I swear whoever runs this gym has absolutely no common sense. For 200$ a month feel like stuff should work 100% of the time. Updating to 1 star, overpriced La fitness.

I run a marketing company, and I was talking to my staff about the swayziest move you've ever seen a business do and it was crazy that it came from you guys. When I first signed on with you guys, I had a 5-star review and thought you guys were absolutely incredible.
Then I think we got new management about three years ago. It started out with these little dirty tactics, money jabs here and there, about guests at the pool, etc.
But then all of a sudden I get a call from customer service and they said, "Hey, I see that you and your family haven't been here for a month (we were on vacation). How would you like to freeze your membership?" I said, "Yeah, that would be great, I'd like to freeze it for a month."
So he sends me the paperwork to freeze it. Then two months later, I go to unfreeze it, and he says, "Oh, you didn't read on the small print of the contract when you froze your membership. You decided to forego your grandfathered rate, which you've had for years, and now you have to sign up at our new rate, which is 70% higher."
I canceled my membership on the spot.
After 25 years of running a marketing company, I would say that it was the most disgusted I've ever been by a company. Every time I drive by your building, or whenever I can talk about the epitome of an unethical company, I bring up your name. Congratulations, you are now the champion of shame.

What once was a really awesome gym has turned into nothing more than a complete dump. The renovations that were recently done have totally destroyed what once was a pretty cool facility that at the time I joined was worth the cost. Well five years down the line what once was a fairly reasonable fee for an upscale club has now turned into a greedy, corporate facility with no positive returns on your investment.
The staff which when I started going was friendly and actually seemed like they cared about their job, now they can't be bothered and rules that are posted aren't even enforced at all. It seems like every time I go, which by the way is around 9 pm, when the day care closes instead of leaving with their kids people merely bring them up to the gym floor to run all over the place and playing on the equipment with little to no supervision while the staff walks by and does nothing. They literally walk around like they don't give a care about anything there.
As for the renovations they talk about, while they did do just that whoever came up with the floor plan is obviously bad at their job. What once was a huge sprawling, spacious floor plan with plenty of equipment but yet still had room to move has turned into a literal disaster show. With the "revamped" floor plan the machines are now so tight that you can't walk around or use a piece of equipment without someone bumping into you. Apparently whoever came up with this redesign never heard of the phrase if it isn't broke don't fix it because instead of improving upon what was both a functional and sensible floor plan decided that it's more important to cram ten pounds of stuff into a five pound bag leaving people tripping over each other. The worst part is there's still plenty of room to space everything out if the club actually hired someone with some common sense when it came to a floor plan.
With regards to cost of the club, when I began it was around $100/per month, now it's costing $160/month for a club that's supposed to be "upscale" when in reality it's nothing more than an overpriced LA Fitness with what appears to be a club run by little to no management whatsoever. They'll tell you the amenities you get and give you the line on the renovations that they've done to the club but it's all a facade. Once you sign up be prepared to get little to no bang for your buck once you begin using it because not only will they constantly jack the price up on what feels like every six months to a yearly basis but that's all you get it is stuck paying more. It may seem like a great club at first but after a month or so you'll start to see the cracks in the foundation and how much you're getting a terrible gym experience for the cost you'll be paying them. What once was a great clientele has somehow morphed into one where there is now literally a sign out front on what's prohibited in the club and both alcoholic beverages and pets are among the things listed, not service pets mind you, people just seem to feel entitled that paying what they pay they don't have to give a care about anybody else. My fiancee, who recently canceled her membership for Planet Fitness of all things because she felt that's a better gym experience than this club once had a woman bring a little dog into the women's locker room that she carried in a bag. It clearly wasn't a service pet but yet was allowed entry with it.
Like I said in the beginning, I've been a member for about five years now. While they were doing the renovations I started going more frequently to another club I also belong to. Since they've been completed I've gone a few times and it just seems like it gets worse and further down the toilet. If you're looking for an upscale club with an atmosphere that represents that this isn't it. I myself am only going until I find a better place. Up until two years ago I would've given this place a five star rating, now I'd give it zero if I could.

I come here weekday nights 9-10:30. In the last year, even at this time of night, there will be unattended children (around 10 years old) on the gym floor. I see them climb on the squat racks like monkey bars (and almost kick people using other racks), jump off of machines, and have had dumbbells roll past me due to children tossing them to each other. Parents and staff seem too involved in pickleball to notice. I have also had a young boy child come into the women’s bathroom and crawl under the stall while I was in it.
Actual gym facility is great with a ton of equipment, and I have been coming here a few years now - I just wish that at 10 at night on a weekday, young children were not allowed on the gym floor while their parent plays pickleball.
edit: Cancelled my membership finally after nothing changing with the amount of children running around LATE at night on the gym floor, they charged $10 to cancel.

It is not what it used to be!
From 2021 to 2023, Lifetime Gym was known for its outstanding staff who really cared about our experience. Lately, though, it seems like the new hires aren't as committed, which is disappointing. Also, the changes to the pickleball courts have been frustrating. Now, you need to book your spot a whole week in advance, and there's someone in charge who decides if you get to play or not. It's become a lot less flexible and fun.
I understand that prices might need to go up sometimes, but it's hard to justify when the quality of the gym seems to be going down. It's disappointing to see these changes negatively affecting what used to be a great place.

LIFETIME Fort Washington is one of my daily stops throughout the week. I have been a member for almost three years.Their staff is super friendly, and the club is immaculate! There is no other gym that compares to what LIFETIME offers in the area! I utilize their cardio equipment and weights to keep my body in peak condition to climb and inspect roofs for my North Star Roofing clients on a daily basis. They have great hours, and there is nothing better than finishing a long day in their dry sauna before a shower with complementary towel service. It truly is an incredible experience, and I am beyond thankful this brand expanded into Southeastern Pennsylvania when they did. Always an A+ experience!

We popped in to take a tour. Apparently you need an appt?! The guy behind the desk was way too cool to be bothered. The female was nice. She tired to help but was useless. They said everything is on the website but that sucks too. They literally lost 2 members because we probably would have signed up. Funny thing is they don't really care. Sticking with the YMCA in ambler. They're nice there and everyone is quite chill. No frills but I don't need them. Just a sauna and equipment. Glad my introduction to lifetime was a turn-off. Saved me from dropping money on a place where their customers dont matter. Not worth the price tag from the get.

As a family member, I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. We joined in April and enrolled in the summer outdoor pool program, but unfortunately, we were only able to use the facility a few times due to frequent closures resulting from air quality concerns, lack of guards, and other problems. This experience was not worth the cost. Additionally, the family changing room was often reserved for summer camp activities, leaving only four shower cabins available for members, which were consistently occupied. I was informed that I could not use an alternative changing room due to having a male toddler with me, resulting in an inconvenient wait time. It has also come to my attention that many individuals fail to shower before using the pool facilities, and some even walk through the shallow water with dirty footwear. Furthermore, I have observed cleaning staff using white towels to clean the floors, which are likely washed and reused for customers. The showers are often unclean, with used bandages and towels frequently found in the area. To compound these issues, I have experienced poor communication, including being informed that the pool was open when, in fact, it was closed.

Place is over-booked and too crowded. Especially the pool where retired swimmers, US olympics, groups or enthusiasts are occupying lanes literally for hours, making regular recreational customers wait... wait.... wait... and pissed off. No one cares. Started "repairs" are also gimmicky and fake. re-grouped treadmills from one side to another.... 2 weeks passed - nothing happened. Good business model... Unfortunately, no decent competitors to allow customers to switch to

The Bad:
- Too Expensive - 30% increase in 2 years (from $99/mo to $129/mo). I will probably leave soon due to the price, which is a shame because I would rather not. If it increases more I will definitely leave.
- Classes do not run late enough. I guess this may be particular to me, but I would imagine other people are in a similar situation. By the time my wife get home to watch my child I find it very hard to get there for a 6pm or even 7pm class.
- Food is extremely limited for vegans and those with similar dietary restrictions. I find this odd for a place that is supposed to have very healthy food. There are pre-packaged snacks and a few shakes, but not much at all in the way of hot or prepared food.
- I have outdoor pool access even though I rarely use it. I don't like being stopped every time I use the pool. If that is because they charge even more for the pool then that is insane.
The Good:
- Hours are pretty good; used to be even better when membership was less expensive.
- Classes are decent; not amazing.
- Hot tub/sauna, etc.
- Nice bathrooms
- Pretty good equipment options
- They sometimes add nice options like the recovery sleeves for your legs.

This place likes to pass themselves off as high-end and fancy. God knows their prices reflect that perception.
I decided to schedule a massage for my birthday on their site with a specific masseur I’ve used in the past. I had to choose the masseur and then an available time. My reservation was accepted and confirmed. Fast forward to my appointment. I arrived 10 minutes early, go through their front desk check-in, then proceed to the spa. I give my name and tell the receptionist I have a 3PM with Ron. She asks me if I’m new and I informed her I’ve had massages with Ron in the past. She then proceeds to tell me their scheduling system messed up and I was assigned to another massage therapist. I asked how this happened since I needed to choose the therapist before seeing their schedule. She rambled on about colors in the system and said she’s sure I did it correctly because I’m not the first person to whom this occurred. She then tried to offer me a “major discount” if I accepted the reservation with the assigned therapist. I flat out rejected it. Then she tried to rebook me with Ron but he had nothing available which worked for me. I told her to cancel the appointment and left. Her apologies were hollow and ineffective.
For the prices Life Time charges, you’d think they’d address reservation system issues to avoid these situations. I had to laugh at their cancellation policy of 50% of the service charge if cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment. What happens when Life Time screws up my appointment and I can’t get the service I booked? Is there a 50% discount on my next booking (if I ever book another with them).
This place needs to get their act together and resolve their issues.

I've been with Maria for maybe close to 20 years and is absolutely amazing inside and out. She knows how to cut my hair with my curls for it to grow back without any frizz! She gives me the best advice on what to use for the curls and doesn't push products on you either!! Let's talk about cut!!!! My hair was always long. Told her last year to trim the dead ends off. When she finished something in me wanted to go shorter and she did it and I won't go back to long!!!!! Whatever she did to my hair with the cut Holy curls!!!!!!! Easier to manage the curls look so healthy and of course no frizz!!! Maria isn't just my hairdresser she's family! Did all our hair for all of weddings (mine and my sisters) my moms hair she cuts as well. We love her!! Thank you so much Maria 💓!!

The service attitude of the staff is very bad! The staff who cleaned the family dressing room at 8:30 in the evening did not clean the bathroom seriously, and the table was full of water, making it impossible for customers to sit down and change clothes. Even if his mistakes were pointed out to his face, he still did not admit his mistakes! Let the customer wipe the water on the table by himself! There was a problem with the lock of the 009 clothing locker, and the customer reported it to the staff many times! A month! Something that can be solved in one minute has not been solved to this day. I explained to the front desk staff, and she was also cold and did not respond! No one wanted to solve the problem. English is my second language, and before I finished speaking, she misjudged what I wanted to say! The attitude is extremely barbaric. In short, the work attitude of the staff needs to be changed and improved to a great extent!

Updating review 9/2024
Things have really gone downhill. They’ve raised prices twice since I joined. The pool was closed roughly 1/2 of 2023–my emails to mgmt went unreturned when I requested a compensatory discount.
Worst of all, it’s just plain filthy. I routinely find hair, cue tips, and bandaids littering the shower floors.
Review as of 1/2023
Great facility with friendly staff and plenty of space/equipment. However I think discipline and urgency are lacking with maintenance. 🧹🔨Examples from this week:
1) hot tub closed for several days
2) no towels at pool both times I’ve been this summer
3) swimsuit dryer broken for 2+ weeks
4) indoor and outdoor pools closed
5) dirty showers - yesterday there was half eaten candy near the soap dispenser
Earlier this summer the showers were “renovated,” which meant 1+ weeks of no shower access for men. I was surprised to discover afterwards that literally nothing had changed in the showers. 🧐
Lastly, I wish the pool staff would monitor unused loungers and pick up abandoned towels. On the weekends, it is very difficult to find a place to sit by the pool because ppl leave towels behind on the chairs after they leave which consumes a lot of the chair real estate.

Aug 2 , tonight the female staff in the female shower room yelled at me and say shower is closed you can’t shower. I just swam and I need to take a 1 min shower so I ignored her. I did it quick and got out of the gym before 11pm while so many women still chit chatting in locker room and the staff did not bother. If you are serious about closing the gym by 11pm then maybe you need to yell at all these ladies and ask them to leave! This is a luxury gym club and I got yelled like this with no respect, there is clearly management issue here! Re-train your staff

Facilities are fine. Close pool, hot tub often and seemingly random. Sauna , hot tub and steam nice but not hot enough.
The real issue is management policies. I signed in for 4 training session, trainer left. I asked for credit (for 1 session) . It’s been months. Nothing
Has a spa certificate. They couldn’t find it on the system. And offered no recourse
Signed up for nutrition program. Went to buy supplies. 2 people couldn’t figure out hiw /if to give me the minimal discount (as a participant)
Just go work out and leave. Otherwise it’s incredibly frustrating and annoying

It’s a great gym- it’s very clean and I like the classes and equipment. However, the childcare center isn’t great and the staff is inexperienced. If your child cries they literally call you within 15min to pick them up- it’s a waste of time and money. The day care is also very strict- they can’t bring anything in to entertain themselves really and it’s mostly open space to play and there aren’t always kids there in my child’s age group. I wouldn’t recommend it- especially if your child has separation anxiety or any kind of special need or speech delay. They simply aren’t willing to care for them even it’s it’s just an half hour. They just don't want to work.
Everything else about the gym is nice and the staff is friendly.

Great facility. They will bleed you dry though once you are there. I have been with them since the very beginning and since they have gone public they have been on an upward trajectory of price raises that is mind-boggling.
First they took out a basketball court that used to be free and then put in Pickleball courts. As the members got addicted to pickle ball they decided to charge more money if you wanted to reserve a court. You had to go up to their signature level. A price increase, they said of $30. This level includes every upper class that neither I nor my children are going to use so basically all we were going to get out of it is Pickleball. Two days later I went to do it begrudgingly and they told me it was $60. Now two months later they are raising every old members rate another $20.
They also treat their staff horribly I have heard. The sales reps are some of my favorite but nobody seems to stay very long.
I'm not entirely sure what I will do as I cannot afford this any longer but a lot of the clients and staff are like family at this point. If you haven't joined yet I would try to find somewhere else. You won't have the level of amenities but you won't know what you're missing and will save a ton of money .
Update 10/23: so now on top of ever-spiraling upward pricing, they have instituted a policy where they will suspend your ability to reserve spots in classes if you miss three classes within any rolling 30 day period. You will lose your ability for a week every time there are three classes missed in 30 days. It is insane. I now am paying over $250 a month and have not been able to go to classes for two weeks. Look, things come up in life and yes you should cancel your reservation but sometimes things happen. I would just as soon they charge me $10 like other gyms for missing the class so that I can still work out when I do have time. Yet again, another example of how theyre managed. It's anti-customer, it's punitive and it enables them to thin the classes.
***UPDATE 4/1/24 ***. BELIEVE IT OR NOT, NOT EVEN A YEAR LATER THEY HAVE RAISED THE RATES AGAIN. This club is insane. Constantly spiraling upward costs while services decrease. I really don't know how much longer I can sustain this. I mean $300 for myself and a 15 year old girl who rarely goes is IN. SANE. Shame on you, money mongers. Feel like this is because there is pressure on them to ever keep increasing profits over member loyalty and satisfaction. How you justify forcing me in Dec. 22 to go up to signature level just to keep playing pickleball the way I had, then to raise them again in June of 23 and now April of 24 is insane.

Gym good, reception staff friendly and normally use your name. Don’t always say goodbye at least the younger staff do not.
Instructors do not acknowledge anyone. They would get more customers if they made more of an effort connecting with members.
Pickleball is good but it’s all about $$$$ same as your fees to be a member. Prices go up all the time and has increased 50% in the last year and the communication about fee increases is poor.
I like the environment and health and fitness is very important so being in this environment is important but it is high $ for a gym.

The mens locker room is so dirty its become a health hazard. The Sauna is growing mold in between the boards. There is Dust and mold blowing out of the air vents as seen in the picture. When I point it out to the people working there they say they will clean it but never do. Worst part is the GM has an office right next to the locker room and its obvious he has never once looked in to check on the condition. It almost feels as if they want to get rid of people.

After reading the reviews I decided to still give it a try. For the price I thought this would be a clean and premium gym. I was mistaken. Yes that’s black mold in the locker room. The stench is sickening.

These pictures are from today 8/13. This gym will cost you 150$+ per month for a membership and this is what you’ll get. The sauna, steam rooms, hot tubs and pool are broken just about every week and are never fixed quickly. Locker rooms/bathrooms are disgusting and almost unusable. When I mention it to the staff the could care less. Take your money to a different gym. I visit LT’s all over the country and this is consistently the worst one.

Always some excuses about the pools having issues and not available in some areas. It is summer people want to swim it cost over 150$ to use the pool. Your establishment makes enough money off hundreds of 300$ memberships. I don't want to hear excuses. Fix the pools: call your insurance company or hire a repairman. We don't want to hear "i'm sorry" If your pool areas are not working refund all customers or give an incentive for the lack of service.

Been a member of this gym since 2019. I've been to several other LTs across the country, and this is my favorite one. I love the layout, the amenities, and the staff. That said, there are a couple improvements that can be made:
1. Cafe team member training/staffing. Not exaggerating, 5/5 of of the last times I've been to the Cafe, the kids have made my shake incorrectly. From adding the wrong add-ins, to using the wrong protein flavor. Wait times are also ridiculously long (20 minutes for a shake??). Also, please teach these kids how pathogens work. Hands should be washed in between touching money/phones/credit cards and food. I've complained about this before in a survey.
2. Weight plates left on machines and general upkeep of gym floor. I realize it's hard to control people who are ignorant or just dismissive of gym etiquette, but I shouldn't have to remove 45# weights from machines every time I want to use one. Also, lots of towels all over the place and often, the wipe containers are empty. Staff can definitely address this more timely.
3. There are a few members who don't realize or don't care that they live in society with others, and hoard machines and benches during busy times. I'll refrain from sharing my opinion on them, but I guess no gym is immune to these types of "special" people.
4. Get a belt squat machine 😀

I’m a stay-at-home mom to two preschool kids, and this is the only thing that keeps me sane. The facilities are clean, modern, and bright, the staff is incredibly friendly, the fitness instructors are great, and my kids always have fun at their daycare services. Best money I spend every month!

I enjoy this gym. This location is pretty nice and spacious with a pool. The instructors for classes are friendly and can challenge you according to your fitness level. There are areas that can be a bit corporate/bureaucratic, so I wish there was more flexibility.

I’ve only been a member for about a week, and I already have amazing things to say about this place! The outdoor pool is amazing. A great place to get a nice little tan and the kids to go down the waterslide and a small concession stand to grab some snacks. They have clean towels and all the bathrooms family and female restrooms.
The upstairs gym has a wide range of workout equipment and lots of spaces for you to join in on classes, such as yoga Pilates, cycling and more. I have done two of these classes and they are a great work out. They are absolutely wonderful and the teachers have been phenomenal.
I adore the staff that I have interacted with super friendly and helpful
The kids space is a great place for your kids. My son has really enjoyed going in and meeting new friends!
Their hours are really good and definitely worth the extra price for this gym
We pay just about 250$ for our whole family to go and it is perfect considering we have used this facility 4-5 times a week if not more
I also have type one diabetes and I ended up having a really good work out but it plummeted my blood sugars down to the 40s dazed and confused, not feeling my best feeling like I was going to pass out I reached out to one of the staff members in the women’s restroom to see if she could help me find my locker to get so my glucose tablets and she did not hesitate, she had me sit down while she was able to get my stuff for me and I was able to get one of my sons juice boxes to get my blood sugar back up. She stayed with me for a moment and make sure I had everything I needed!
I really appreciate the quick response and help during one of my blood sugar emergencies.
I also wanna shout out the yoga teacher Laura, for really taking time to show me how to do the steps and breathe though my workout! She was super friendly and stop to talk to me after she took her time to get to know me and my workout journey! she is amazing I really appreciate her going out of her way!
If you’re thinking about joining a gym, I definitely recommend this gem especially if you have a family there’s plenty to do here for everybody!
I plan on checking out their hair salon that they have provided soon and I’ll probably add that to my review in a few weeks!

Recently I was invited to a kids birthday party and My husband and I was in awe he immediately said we’re getting a membership here. On our way out we ask about the membership and the man at the front desk was so nonchalant. We asked about the price and explained it will be 4 people on the membership, he just showed us the price. I asked what are the amenities? because the pool was important for my kids and he replied “yeah that’s included” I asked ok what else and his reply was it depends on what’s important to you. Immediately I shut the conversation down and left. I’m completely turned off! He didn’t have to sell us on anything we were already sold just wanted a little more information. We’ll just stay at our own gyms. In the future, if someone is inquiring about a place they never been maybe lay out what you offer and what’s an additional add on, just give the information for inquiring members.

I wanted to wait until I’d been a member for more than a week to review and can see with certainty after about a month, I really love this gym. Imo it’s the best there is. The facilities are always clean and the staff are always so nice. I’ve been taking classes regularly and genuinely think that’s where the price point pays for itself.
A boutique barre studio in Philly is around $180 a month.
A yoga studio monthly membership is around $150 (low end)
Spin facilities average about $25 per ride or $150 a month (again low end)
The membership at this location is $129 a month so if you go to these classes regularly, it’s much cheaper than the cost of all these individual memberships. The best part? The spin instructors are cyclists who train and compete in triathlons, the barre instructors are as good as boutique barre classes in the city and the same with the yoga teachers. My point is, it doesn’t feel like some random fitness coach was put in to teach a barre class. It’s a legit barre instructor and same with the yoga teachers, spin instructors etc…. They’re legit. Their practice is legit and they take their classes seriously. I feel like it’s an absolute bargain at that monthly price point especially coming from the city and spending hundreds on these types of boutique classes monthly. Let’s not forget they have a dry sauna, steam room, hot tub, indoor AND outdoor pools with designated lap lanes OR leisure lanes/sections as well as tons of cardio machines and weights with racks, a basketball court, full spa, cafe, and stuff for kids (even though I don’t have any I think it’s a great service for parents). I couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to go from new member to regular in all my classes.

Parul at the Life Spa is absolutely fantastic! I went to her for a 60 min botanical facial treatment and it was the best my skin has felt in years. Great exfoliating treatment and a honey enzyme mask. One thing that I especially loved is that when I had questions about her products and process Parul was happy to explain each step in detail and show me the purpose of each product. I learned a lot and felt great after. Book with her!

Good variety of machines. The issue we're finding is a lack of a clear policy (and enforcement of) 'camping' on the stations. Far too many people sit at the stations doing nothing but browsing on their phones. Seating, elsewhere, is for that. "Exercise, or get off the station!" Each needs such a sign.

I had a conversation with the concierge that was very unpleasant. I asked her for information on membership and her response was “OK”. Typically that’s the cue to start speaking about membership, if I had an appointment, tours, etc. I will not be coming to my scheduled lifetime tour. The impression concierge gave me of Lifetime was not good. I was a member prior to COVID shut down and wanted to get back with my son, but just had a much better experience before.

Then a white lady behind me was able to enter the gym with only here phone number and did NOT have to present an ID , WHILE I was forced to find a picture of my ID on my phone because I was using my phone number. Childcare is always chaotic. Yesterday I signed my daughter up for arts and crafts. She was so excited about the class, but when we got there, the staff said exact words, "Yeah, not happening. We have too many babies." Compared to the YMCA, childcare looks more stressful. At least at the y, they don't deceive members into thinking they have regular boutique classes for kids.
Also, be aware of the "discover pilates" class. They need to rename it to discover a way to spend much more money. The reformer classes don't push you enough and frankly, they are boring. You need to do so many adjustments to the equipment, too and in the discover class, the instructor does it for you. It's a lot of extra work for a $40 class! Be careful with the one of one equipment instructions classes as well. They do those, so you sign up for personal training. The salon is also deceiving and they charge you whatever they want despite meeting the stylist and getting a quote before a service. I have seen so much staff turnover, making me question what they are doing to the staff.

The Yoga classes and instructors are awesome, and the Barre classes and instructors are great too. The front desk is always nice and welcoming and the GM always greets me when I walk by. I have been coming here since it opened with exception to covid. I tore my ACL in spring of 21 and when I was cleared to workout I came back a year ago and started with Ashleigh my trainer. Her workout program she set up for me is fantastic. She set three for me that are full body for each. I do once or twice a week with her and one on my own. In between I do cardio or my own routine. Trainers are there for questions and work with you. I recommend Ashleigh if you want to have fun while she hurts ya.

Clean facility but rude, unprofessional and confrontational staff. There are far better LifeTime locations in the area with respectful staff… I would rather drive farther than go to this facility again. Why does this LifeTime location have different standards for hiring than the other nearby locations (that actually employ professional and courteous staff?)

After years of being a member of lifetime fitness, not only in fort Washington but also a member in NY. The luxury gym experience has completely vanished in the past several months. I would recommend staying far far away from this gym. There is a reason this lifetime is the cheapest priced lifetime out of almost all lifetimes in the entire area.
The price reflects the quality of the management and workers at this location. They are all confrontational, rude and do not want to help in any way.
Jack was the last good worker at lifetime, once Jack left at the end of August the workers have all been excruciatingly horrible.
These major problems are happening at night time, the employees are no longer prioritizing customer experience rather their own priorities.
The problems start straight from the Manager of the gym Gavin.
Gavin is extremely unprofessional and should not be kept employed by lifetime. Gavin, multiple times, before the hours of the gym closed, has walked into the female locker room completely unannounced and done a walk through. When a female member approached him and addressed the fact that the hours were not past closing time and she was naked changing and he walked in unannounced, he didn't seem to care and continued with the same behavior.
Gavin also had locker room employees rushing members out of the locker room before the hours of the gym were closed. Employees started closing down the Sauna, Steam room between 11:15- 11:30. They care to get out of the building 5 minutes before their shift is over at the cost of making members uncomfortable.
I completely understand that through COVID-19 it was difficult finding quality employees. But this is a whole other level of low quality customer service.
It doesn't seem like Gavin knows how to manage his own life let alone a luxury gym.
Do not be fooled, this lifetime is NOT LUXARY. Completely trash.

This club is great on multiple levels. It is clean, the staff are amazingly friendly and upbeat. It has one big issue. Members are permitted to play on their phones while sitting on the machines. This prevents other members from getting their workouts done. They seem to also be possessive about the machine they are on and will not let other members jump in between sets as is common in serious gyms. Last night, a young man and a woman sat on their phones for over 20 minutes on the leg machines for 3 sets of 10 and 6 sets of 10.
Thank you for addressing this.

I’ve been a member since late Feb coming from LA fitness. I’ve joined and left multiple gyms over time and can say this one is the best. The staff is great and the amenities are wonderful. The only knock I have is that I wish they had more and different free weight machines compared to other “muscle gyms” if they makes sense. LA fitness lacked many things but the different kinds of work out machines seems to be better in my opinion. There are some machine at lifetime that I barely see people use so I wonder if they could take a look and possible replace them.
