From my wife, who was not able to post a review.
Not much of a gym without treadmills. in fact, I've never heard of a gym without a treadmill. you only care about certain members at the gym. Talk about age discrimination. I came home today with a pounding headache. Trying to find my grandson a new gym and trainer because of your inconvenience. I don't believe for a minute that you can't get those treadmills fixed or that you cannot get new ones. we will be leaving if they are not fixed in one week. Employee said on the side that owner wants to get rid of treadmills. Crazy.
Update: 1 month later, and treadmills are still not working. Ventilation is poor to non-existent. My wife opened a window on a warm 78-degree early October afternoon and was lectured for it. ( not 20 as the owner states) The fan she was given was a little 10 in desk van that couldn't ventilate a matchbox. One good point is their trainer, Yankory. He is the best and really wants to see you succeed.

NEW CARDS ARE LIKE MANY THINGS WITH PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE. MY CARD DID NOT LAST THREE MONTHS. I like the old hard cards that had substance. The equipment is nice though

The people that own this gym are not really friendly towards school activities, they had multiple cars towed out of the parking lot because the kids went to a football game and it’s funny because some of the kids are actually paying for a membership at this gym. Not cool Lift! Thumbs down on you.

Love this place. Owner is great, great people, and great environment. I dropped 50 bucks in there one time and found it again 45 mins later Lol. Awesome place to get in shape. Prices are pretty good also. Thumbs up!!

Ironhouse Gym superior.. only 1 mile away. Powerliftin equipment, dumbells to 150. Temperature controlled.. not 100 in Summer and 50 in winter , as with this gym.. This place has notes everywhere and no chalk allowed. Planet fitness will easily replace this gym and Ironhouse will take the rest of the serious lifters.

This place is Hands down one of the best gyms in the country and for sure the Best gym in PA. They have nothing but the best hardcore and well made equipment that exists. For a bodybuilder like myself it’s like a candy store. It’s also very clean and well maintained. The 24/7 access is also super convenient.

I love that they have more then one machine to do the same workout, with out having to wait for people to be done with it for you to use it. Costumer service is also good.

If you want gym that is 24 hours, clean, and has all the weight machines you would need then lift is your place.
The ppl are friendly if you are a social person and know how to spark up a conversation.
There is a mini running track, punching bags, a separate cardio section, areas broken down by body exercises, there is a sauna , and showers.
It's not the flashiest gym but it will provide you everything you need. Stop by and check it out.

I work out here 6 days a week. Disappointed that it has gone down hill. False advertising of what they offer. No central air. Very dirty and the equipment is not maintained. Would not recommend it to anyone. Still a member only for convenience of the free weights
