I've been training with Luke for over 3 years now, and cannot recommend him highly enough. Having had a series of other trainers in the past, no one has helped me maintain and improve my overall fitness to the extent Luke has. He strives to make sure that my body is operating at peak level for all the activities I enjoy doing, while ensuring that I can continue to enjoy them without injury. In addition to his excellence as a trainer, Luke is also a kind, thoughtful, genuine person who brings his emotional intelligence to each session. Luke has been an amazing trainer for my high school daughter who is a competitive swimmer. He has tailored her workouts to optimize her performance as a freestyle sprinter and to help her avoid overuse injuries. His extensive knowledge about physiology distinguishes him from most trainers in my experience. Luke also understands teenagers really well - my daughter has benefitted tremendously from her sessions with him on both a physical and mental level. I highly recommend Luke!

I was a professional martial arts instructor for 28 years, so I know what to look for in a personal trainer. Luke is the ONLY trainer I would ever work with. I've trained with Luke for 3 years, and every session has been tremendous. He personalizes each session to my job demands and whatever my body needs worked on at the time. My only regret is that I can only get there just once a week!

I came to Luke about a year ago. I had broken my leg and although released from physical therapy, I still had a lot of work to do to recover the strength in my leg and overall balance. With his PT background, Luke was able to assess my needs and create a program to not only build back but to improve my overall strength and mobility. We are now able to move more into strength and fitness but he always has an eye on ways to keep working on my previous issues when necessary. Thank you Luke!

I started working with Luke about 3 years ago. Goals were really to get stronger and attempt to lose some weight. I was a bit skeptical about personal trainers as you hear so many things about them. Well, Luke is more than a personal trainer. He's your partner along your fitness journey. He doesn't se lofty goals, he pushes you, even when you may not know it. I've recently started working more closely with him around my diet and I've spoken with him about his education and background and what he's provided me, I think is life-changing. It's not a restrictive diet that will deprive me, but let me live and help achieve my goals. He's not one of these personal trainers who goes through the 80 hour certification. He's got the amazing education to back it up and he is passionate about helping people. Luke is a unique fitness trainer and so glad to be working with him!

I have been struggling for over two years to find the motivation to lose the extra few pounds I gained while in college. I hated how I felt and looked yet would continue to make excuses for myself as to why I shouldn’t make a change; I realized I needed someone to hold me accountable, which is when I hired Luke. He is extremely knowledgeable and builds a plan tailored to your own body and it’s limitations but will still push you to limits you didn’t realize were possible. I have passed so many milestones in just a month and a half that I wouldn’t have achieved without Luke, oh, and have lost about 10lbs along the way! He is dedicated to your personal fitness goals and will do anything to help get you to where you want to be — he continuously checks in to see how i’m feeling after a workout and will guide me on what to do when we don’t have a session scheduled. He is passionate about what he does and the clients he works with — he’s woken up at the crack of dawn just to get in a workout for me, I appreciate it beyond words! Highly recommend Luke to anyone looking to make a lifestyle change, he is unlike any other ordinary trainer.

Luke Connell is a master of personal training knowing which movements to make to develop/strengthen specific musculature based on intended movements. What is great is Luke has a plethora of exercises or movements to incorporate into a workout offering variety so the client does not become bored with training.
I suffered a year long debilitating "medical adventure" involving several abdominal surgeries and procedures due to sepsis, which nearly took my life. I was completely de-conditioned to the point where my body had to be "trained" to walk again. That year ended with my first total hip replacement. I'd (and my body) had been through hell!
It was after that when I met Luke and began to appreciate his knowledge, passion and approach to training. His process helped me (and my body) develop strength and agility. Having been a collegiate athlete in my younger years, Luke impressed upon me the concept of muscle memory from which he developed my training program. What was great is he took everyday movements which, due to lack of muscle memory or strength, could be a precursor to a fall or accident, and created exercises to develop, strengthen and create muscle memory to a specific muscle group, thus stabilizing and strengthening that area. He applies this concept with his "senior" clients as well.
Luke's knowledge, passion and desire to help the individual is second to none. I highly recommend training with Luke whether you're trying to develop/maintain strength or if you're a high level athlete trying to strengthen and condition your body in order to get to the next level of competition. You're in excellent hands with Luke!

I’ve used multiple personal trainers over the last few years, but none can compare to Luke. His knowledge & education in the field and personal experiences help him create a program that is truly tailored to the individual client and the client’s goals, whether the goal is to lose weight, rehabilitation, or training for a specific sport/event. Personally, his workouts have helped me build strength and lose weight. One thing that sets Luke apart from other trainers is his focus on the whole individual. I have been working with Luke for the past 2.5 years. I suffer from chronic back pain due to degenerative disc disease and several disc issues related to that. My son is a world class athlete that has used many trainers throughout his career. I gifted him a session with Luke when he came back for the Holidays a couple years ago. He was surprised how much more there was to learn from Luke. Luke conscientiously has followed up with him through email and videos to help further his development. Luke Connell is NOT your average fitness trainer. He has a Masters Degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning . First time I met him, I knew he was a man of integrity and wanted to help me stay mobile. He did a mobility assessment initially to determine how much movement I had in my body. Because of years working in the drywall and construction business from ages 20-50, I have a lot of arthritis and my joints hurt a lot. I did not want to walk into a gym and start exercising as I saw best or to have one of the young gymsters training me. I wanted someone who understood how the human body worked and how my body has been affected through the years. This man is the real deal. Highly recommend.
