I am a busy working mom of two in her fifties with limited time but a desire to learn how to live a functional and pain free active life. This prompted me to join Main Line Total Fitness, and I couldn’t be happier! I have worked out in gyms most of my adult life but was plagued by injuries. Ed and Trey are unbelievably knowledgeable and have helped me maintain a healthy and pain free lifestyle through training and nutrition. I’ve always gone to the gym and worked with a trainer and started to notice that as I get older, my cookie cutter workout routine was no longer suiting my needs and leading to injuries. I switched and started going to Main Line Total Fitness over a year ago and they designed a custom program focused on my overall health, cardio fitness, and low impact workout programs. Not only do I feel stronger and healthier, but all my aches and pains from my previous workout program have gone away. I highly recommend Main Line Total Fitness.

I've been a member of traditional gyms and just worked out independently, but after college my workout habits became inconsistent and I didn't like the trajectory my health was on when I turned 30 a couple years ago.

I ended up joining Main Line Total Fitness because Ed (owner & trainer) and Tray's (trainer) program for me provided the additional structure and motivation I wanted. They take a whole-body approach to developing a fitness plan and use metrics in addition to weight loss to track your fitness progress. So while I've lost weight following their plan, I've also gotten feedback about how my body fat percentage has decreased and my muscle mass has increased, which has been really motivating for me.

100% love this gym and what Ed has created. I mainly train with Tray who has a lot of knowledge and has tailored my workouts based on his observations and my feedback. My top priority was to regain a consistent routine, and I have because of this program -- I mean, they even offer financial incentives for meeting my program goals -- that's pretty awesome!

I cannot say enough good things about Main Line Total Fitness and Ed and Tray

I am a nurse practitioner and also recovering Breast Cancer patient with a knee replacement on the left and right knee with torn ligaments and most of the cartilage gone As well as shoulder issues.
It is very important for my future health that I am able to exercise, but I have not been able to do so successfully because of the joint pain from medication I’m on as well as the past injuries

But Ed changed all that - I’ve worked out with several trainers over the years and always end up getting hurt, but the care that he takes and the patience as well as the scientific program he developed and uses has made it possible for me to exercise and to thrive without pain

I highly recommend Ed and Main Line Total Fitness, especially if you have any physical issues. You will find yourself in very good hands.

I would recommend this gym highly. Both the training and the equipment are excellent. Previously I had never stepped into a gym. I found the idea intimidating. After doing research I joined MLTF. The training has been excellent. I have trained with Tray. He has explained all the exercises in an easy to learn fashion and the program has worked for me. I’m a couple of months in at MLTF and this club is meeting me where I am at. Gently getting my muscles used to working out again (after many years off), getting used to going to the gym consistently and feeling accomplished afterwards.

I recently walked/jogged a 5k. I used the heart rate monitor I got at MLTF and Tray taught me how to stay in my ideal zones. It really helped me to accomplish the 5k safely, without triggering exercise induced asthma.

I also love some of the unique equipment they have which helps me get stronger with less risk of injury.

I'm 71 and a firefighter. I was following a self-directed training regimin at another club that wasn't making enough of a difference. I then heard about MLTF. Ed, the owner, tested various body parameters and then walked me through a comprehensive plan that I find easier to follow and it's getting better results. I am putting on more muscle and strengthening my respiratory system and heart. The place is inclusive and the equipment is excellent. I'm happy to have found it.

I was recently diagnosed with Lupus and I knew I needed to make a life change ASAP! I came across Main Line Total Fitness and called them and had the pleasure to speaking with Ed (owner). Immediately I knew this is where I belonged. Ed told me to come in that day and he along with Tray (Trainer) got me set up with a plan that was conducive to my condition and schedule. Main Line Total Fitness is an ideal personal training gym. Ed and Tray are thoughtful and purposeful in their approach to fitness and building strength and mobility. The facility is spotless and inviting. The equipment is high end and truly industry leading. And they are stocked with healthy snack and energy drinks at all times for members! Wanted to add a follow up, Ed’s system really works he has taught me toolkits that I can help incorporate into my fitness journey that is healthy and will not cause rebound. So happy we found this place. My friend had a stroke 12/2021, stopped PT/OT in October, and has been on a walker. With the program Ed designed for her, she was off the walker within a week, only using her cane. Now after being on the program three weeks, she can walk without her cane most of the time.
He provides confidence and positive energy, but meets her where she is and never requires her to do anything. She is in charge. He blends mind, body and spirit very well. I highly recommend this program to all.

This gym is a different type of place. For one, there are only two people who work there. For another, they don’t have to be there for you to workout, but it’s still secure- you enter with an app on your phone. The hours are really helpful for me as a working mom with a young kid. They’re open until 11 at night. It’s the perfect size, small enough to feel cozy but has everything you need for a good workout. Most times I’m there I am the only one there so it feels like my own private gym. The other members have a huge range in age and fitness level; it really feels like everyone is welcome, and everyone is friendly. Ed and Tray obviously really care about each client’s goals and individuality. They helped me figure out that I wasn’t seeing muscle gain or fat loss because of my protein intake (or lack thereof). They helped me find a healthy protein powder to add to a shake and suddenly my workouts were more effective. It was a total lightbulb moment. The membership prices are totally reasonable for what you’re getting, especially including the personal training sessions if you want them. They gamify progress by using heart rate monitors and offering discounts off membership dues if you meet certain goals. Definitely excited to keep going!

I am a 77 year-old male who suffered from serious breathing and mobility issues for more than a year. I
have used a rolling walker and a cane while on oxygen 24/7 just to get around the house. I also have
rehabilitative PT multiple times a week and see a variety of doctors to help with various medical
conditions.
I started working with Ed Radlow of Main Line Total Fitness at my home on August 30 th , 2023 as a
recommendation from my wife, who has worked successfully with Ed at his fitness center since 2019. I
wanted to be able to get around the house without oxygen or the walker and get up and down the steps
to get to the car but none of my existing doctors or other professionals were able to help me do so.
When Ed first came to meet with me, he explained his Do What Fits System and how it can help people
better “match” their capabilities with their environment using science. But he also explained that if he
thought he could not help me reach my objectives, he would not take me on as a client as he did NOT
want to see me pay for something that wouldn’t happen.
Well, because it is based on science, I started seeing results with the Do What Fits System
IMMEDIATELY. And progress continues every session to this day! That’s because Ed was able to
“connect the dots” between my PT and my doctors, which helped me develop my capabilities to better
negotiate my environment. Today, I get around the house more freely, WITHOUT OXYGEN AND JUST
MY CANE! I go down the steps and into the car, as the passenger OR the driver without pain or the
oxygen. From Ed, I have learned the difference between “pain” and “discomfort” and that has enabled
me to expand my own capabilities and limitations. I’m now able to sit, stand and go where and when I
want, not just in the home but in the outside world so much better that even my PT recognized I was
moving better and faster! Ed identified a significant strength imbalance between my right and left leg
that my PT is going to help me address. He and Ed expect to do some strength training that, by the late
Spring, I expect will help open up greater possibilities for me, as well.
To ANYONE with mobility issues or physical injuries that are holding you back, I highly recommend Ed
Radlow and Main Line Total Fitness. You won’t find ANYTHING better around here to help you
“connect the dots” as you seek to add life to your years.

After having my first child two years ago, I struggled to get back to a consistent fitness routine. Ed and Tray at MLTF have been a game changer. I was in a horrible car accident that lead to many neck/spine surgeries and chronic pain. I was placed on steroids and gained a ton of weight. Now that I’m on the mend, I knew I wanted to get back in shape- I just didn’t know HOW or WHERE- and admittedly was afraid of failing. Then I met Ed and Tray at MLTF. They are extremely thorough in their approach, and tailored a program just for me that takes into account limitations I have from the above incident. They are supportive, empathetic and most importantly great cheerleaders for you when you are having a session. I first started personal training through mainline executive fitness when, as a gym member at Snap, I noticed the quality of instruction that Ed, the owner, was providing to his personal training clients. In my first few months of training with him, I achieved substantial results with his guidance.
The onset of Covid and medical challenges interrupted our work together for a while. Since we resumed, progress towards my fitness goals has been excellent. I give myself credit for hard work, but at least as much is due to Ed and his staff.. His approach based on regular data measurements is ideal for me. It motivates me through my zone keeping me aware of efforts for every session.
His genuine care and attention during one to one sessions, his clear outlining of numerical goals and advice on how to reach them has been outstanding and effective.
How the facility has been managed with close attention to safety is also very reassuring.
The equipment that is there for the HIIT circuit and the abdominal circuit I have seen at no other gym. The number of clients in the gym at any one time is limited by design.
The atmosphere of caring and respect carries through to the other members. They are a delightful and positive crew. Ed specifically articulates this. The signs posted help remind us that this is what is expected. I mention this because I’ve been to Gyms where crude language is everywhere, and it’s a big downer for me.The genuine care and respect that he, Trevon and other staff show every day makes this a very welcoming place where I and other can do our best for ourselves.

I just want to give a shout-out to my personal trainer Travon Jones for an outstanding job he has been doing during my workout sessions. Since retiring from military back in 2007, I have been working-out on and off for quite some time at the gym. Back in 2016, I had an accident where I ruptured my patellas in both knees playing sports. The doctor told me after the surgery that I probably wouldn’t be able to run again because my knees were severely torn by the impact.

Since 2016 thru 2020, I never participated in any type of physical activity that required running or jogging. Also during that time, I was gaining tremendous weight, and felt tired all the time. So I decided on May 03, 2021, that I needed a personal trainer to help me regain strength in my knees, and also help me to lose weight. I spoke to Ed, the owner of the Main Line Executive Fitness facility about my situation, and right away he said Travon is the person who can help get me back running again. For the first couple of months it was very tough during our workout sessions. My mind was constantly telling me to quit, you tired, you not going to be able to run again…blah…blah…blah

It has been approximately four month since I've started my workout program with Travon, and the results are amazing. I am now able to run for about 15 to 20 minutes on a steady pace. My weight has going down tremendously, and better yet. I am not so tired like I use to be. I still have a long way to go, and everyday brings a new challenge.

What I do know is that Travon words of inspiration and encouragement was a vital part of my program success. I sincerely thank God for this young man for hanging in there with me throughout all the tough times.
