We’ve been at Main Street Swim School for over a year now and couldn’t be happier! Coach Marty and Coach Eugene are awesome. Our son loves coming to class every week and has gotten so much more comfortable in the water.

We love Main Street Swim School! At our location there is only one class at a time which my child loves because it’s more calm and quiet. And I love that I get to be on the pool deck hearing how the swim instructors explain the strokes and kicks so I can reinforce this at home.

We always have such a great experience at Main Street Swim School! My 1.5-year-old tried a class at another swim school but just didn’t take to it and was very unconformable. After one class at Main Street, I could immediately see how much more comfortable and happy he was with Marty! The small class size, fun songs, and personal attention made all the difference. I’m so glad we found this place!

My LO started swim lessons when she turned 1 and has continued them for several months. The class sizes are small and friendly, with a great mix of group and individual attention. The format of the class is very engaging, and the teacher is attentive and helpful. She remembers what my swimmer likes and doesn't like and offers new ways to try things when needed.

When my baby is ready, we'll be sure to enroll her too :)

We are very happy that we found Main Street Swim School. Our whole family is satisfied, and from the very first lesson our children loved swimming and attended every class with joy. We were at a different swim school for nearly 2 years. Unfortunately, for a very expensive price, they provided us with an instructor:student ratio of 1:8. That meant that my children received only a few minutes of instruction. I did not see any advancement in their skills and their fear of the water remained. I knew I had to pivot.

I found MSSS: KOP incidentally on google. And boy am I glad I did. In a mere 9 months, my daughter has progressed tremendouly, is no longer afraid of jumping in the water, and can swim better than I can! Coach Marty, Gene, and their team have been nothing short of professional, kind but firm with the children, and a joy to work with.

I highly recommend Main Street Swim School. Marty has taught my kids so much by balancing fun with learning. Both of my kids (3rd grade and kindergarten) were not confident in the water. Since starting lessons in April, they have both moved up a level and I am very confident in their abilities to navigate the pool this summer!

Absolutely the best swim school in the area. the instructor and staff are very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter coach Bobby is very good and she looks forward to her swim class every week. The place is neat and clean, this swim school is good one for your kids to learn to swim and definitely I would recommend to my friends and family!!

They have swim classes for kids and adults. I joined the semi private adult class, and have James as my instructor. He is super patient, fun and encouraging!! I was surprised at how much I accomplished during the first class! Truly recommend

Our 6 year-old son loves the pool. We owned a pool in our home for 5 years. Our son learned more and progressed further in a couple of lessons with Main Street than in all the prior time in his home pool. The instructors know how to break down the elements of the strokes and how to overcome fears, bad habits/muscle memory, etc. I highly recommend their swimming instruction for kids.

We love Main Street Swim at KOP! My 3yo has been attending lessons for over four months and is making amazing progress. The swim coaches are fantastic with the kids and my kiddo looks forward to his lesson with Coach Bobby every week. The small class sizes make it feel like a private swim lesson at a fraction of the price! The facilities are great since the pool is located in the LA Fitness so we have plenty of changing room space for before and after the lesson. The water is warm and so is the swim facility. We tried other big chain swimming lessons and my kiddo didn’t like the noise and the crowds. Main Street Swim at KOP has been a fantastic experience for our family.

So far we have had a five star experience at Main Street Swim School. I taught swim lessons way too many years ago to count and have had mixed feelings about swim schools that use some of the newer teaching methods. MSSS combines traditional and modern methods of teaching swimming for what I feel is a great approach to help kids become confident in the water. I highly recommend giving them a shot if you're looking for a swim class in KOP and vicinity.
