I am extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism at Melt. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, the owner has not returned my calls. Funds have been withdrawn for a membership that was previously cancelled, and my concerns have been ignored. This experience has been frustrating and reflects poorly on the business. I would not recommend Melt based on this lack of accountability and poor customer service.

I used to love coming to melt but their cancellation policy has made it difficult to do with children. I completely understand a 1 hour cancellation policy, but have had to accept being charged $20 extra when my children became sick, when inclement weather started, and when I myself woke up sick within 3 hours of class time. I feel that the cancellation policy makes it hard to justify as a mother who works, and incentivizes people attending while ill. I hope to see an adjustment to this and be back in the future, but it makes things a bit too expensive during this season of my life.

me and 2 other people go to the studio ONE MINUTE after the class started and the door was locked. You have to book online and pre pay and no where on the website did it say that they lock the door on the dot of the scheduled class. I find it very crazy and unfortunate that they do not accommodate for people who canβt control things like traffic or other inconveniences who do plan to be there on time, ESPECIALLY since they have a no refund and no transfer policy. If i was able to go to a different class or get a refund i would not be this upset.

I stopped by today to ask about rates and Joseph who at first was civil quickly degenerated his attitude toward me. He was willing to find a way to accommodate my service dog. Which was very considerate. His attitude changed right after I asked if there was wifi and told him I don't do phone service. He said no and that's not our problem. I said it's not my problem either. It's a solution for me.
He immediately started aggressively urging me out the door.
When I asked for his coworker's names after seeing his change in demeanor he said "it's none of your business"
Multiple people raised their eyebrows at that. Including me.
This was all because there were 5 minutes till the class and I was unable to sign up because I dont opt into phone plans with data and they didn't have wifi available to download their app and do so (because you can only sign up and pay on their app).
But for 119-150+ per month and to see him speak for multiple women because he realized I wasn't signing up right then and there and wanted me out the door....
WoW. Just wow.
I was apparently worth nothing but to get out the door to him and he didn't care how it got done nor what he did to do it.
I feel very uncomfortable paying a business anything let alone potentially thousands of dollars if that's how an employee is going to treat potential customers who are willing to sign up but who operate different or slower than they expect them to.
With that said...
I am going to stop back in and speak with another employee tomorrow and see what's going on and if there is an apology in order
I've had friends and family recommended melt hot yoga and my body started calling for yoga today. So I need it. And if there are other instructors who are more amicable and friendly, I'd like to sign up for them..
ESPECIALLY if payments only go to the instructors you work with.
But unless Joseph apologizes for his attitude and actions towards me.. I will not attend ANY of his classes. It was completely uncalled for.
I'm looking for yoga instructors who remain calm in the face of stress, who are kind to people who dont automatically do what they want, who are willing to remain civilized and friendly and talk appropriately with their peers regardless of how their peers present themselves or what their way of life is.
This isn't the apocalypse. There is no need to be confrontational just because I do different than you.
Actions certainly speak louder than words and I'm sure Joseph's actions today spoke loud enough to put knots between melt hot yoga clientel who witnessed and heard it.

I have been going to Melt Pilates for almost a year now. Last week I decided to try Josephs new "Hot Pilates Fusion" and let me tell you to not underestimate that class! It was one of the most challenging pilates I have done and 3 days later my body is still feeling it. It may be my new personal favorite!

Love this place. I usually go to Pilaties or Vinyasa and love both classes for different reasons. The instructions and staff are very nice, knowledgeable, and supportive. They genuinely care and know who I am when I walk in.They answer any questions I or anyone has and if they don't know, they find out. I always get a response when I reach out II love going to Melt, and always feel great after a class.

I'm not one to write a lot of reviews but I recently traveled back to my hometown to take a Yoga Sculpt class and took Omar's class for the first time. He went above and beyond my expectations and it was seriously the best way to start the weekend. His teaching style, taste in music, workouts, and energy was spot on. If you are in NEPA, this location and instructor is a must, you will not regret it.

Instructors are friendly and encouraging, each offering different styles and energy. Yoga, pilates, sculpt, and more, you're sure to find a class that suits your preference. The room gets HOT, but we pay extra for the heat. My mind and body both appreciate every class.

Melt is a great place to commit to your better self. I've been going for several months and have seen a big change in my body, but more importantly, a change in my commitment to myself and my own health. I love their variety of classes, teachers and times. I can fit it into my schedule and feel a great sense of self worth after each class. Definitely a place that has helped me achieve my personal goals.

Every Melt Hot Yoga class provides an intense workout that is challenging for both body and mind. Each class is a journey. You can start here as a beginner, having never done yoga, and get the same benefits as the experienced yogis who are doing seemingly impossible poses. Almost anyone can do these classes as long as a physician has OK'd you for exercise.
The best part about yoga is that there is always room to improve. It's almost impossible for a normal person to reach a plateau. If you reach a plateau, you know you're ready to take each pose to the next level! I was in the worst shape of my life when I started and have seen progress since day one... these classes are very difficult to get through without taking a break in the beginning, but if you go regularly you will see improvement.
The instructors are some of the most professional yoga instructors I've seen, especially in such a personal setting (usually classes of 20 or fewer people).
There is no judgment and no shame if you need to take water or sit down, neither from instructs nor the other students. I've seen even very experienced students sit out for a pose every once in a while. There is NO reason to be shy about trying this out.
At first I was worried about the price of classes (drop-in is $15 and a monthly auto-debit is $90). YES it seems way more expensive than Planet Fitness around the corner, which is only $10/month. Believe me though: most people need direction and a sense of belonging to be motivated enough to keep working out. You'll feel welcome at every class you attend here, as opposed to the impersonal, robotic attitude found by staff and members alike at regular fitness gyms. That's definitely part of the reason I keep going back. It's easy to lose motivation when you're treated as a number and when you use machines all the time. Machines don't give you feedback, and they can only work one muscle or muscle group at a time. Why work only your legs on a treadmill for 20 minutes and only your arms with weights when you can work your entire body, including increasing your balance and flexibility, all at the same time?
There's a $20 unlimited trial week for new members.. there's no reason you shouldn't at least check it out.
