My 2nd grader who has difficulty with attention and focus joined Mr Ds Karate Place last year. We go usually once a week and it’s such a great program for my son. It’s super fun but not too serious either, which both my son and I appreciate. I’d recommend mykarateplace to anyone that’s looking for an effective way to your kid focused and confident 10/10

My daughter has been practicing at My Karate Place for over a year now. She absolutely loves it, and happily jumps in the car when it's time for class. Mr D is a wonderful teacher, and so much fun with the kids!
My daughter is moving, learning, working on self-defense skills and awareness, and having fun. WIN WIN!

My daughter has been taking karate lessons with Mr. D for over 4 years and it’s the one activity she’s started and not given up on. He offers a variety of classes grouped by age that makes it very convenient to attend. You don’t have to sign up, just pay the monthly fee (which is quite reasonable) and show up as often as you’re able! We absolutely love it. Beyond the physical aspects of karate, Mr. D goes beyond by sneaking in very important life lessons to the kids. 10/10 recommend!

Mr. D is sooo much more than a Karate instructor. He truly is a mentor to my son and I’m so grateful he is part of my sons life. He instills life skills and self discipline in a fun yet controlled environment. He truly looks after his students like they are his children. It’s amazing watching what my son has learned from Mr. D and implement it into his everyday use. I highly recommend his program and promise you will not regret it.

Our sons have been training with Mr. D for over five years and love it. The self-discipline, focus and strength has helped them in school and in the many other sports they have joined. Their coaches always comment on how quickly they master new skills and I credit Mr. D with teaching them how to maintain their center of gravity and strengthen their bodies. If your kid loves sports, My D. will help improve his game!
He also throws really fun birthday parties!

We are so happy that we have found Blue Line Academy! My son does not typically do well with new experiences/places but he instantly felt comfortable with Mr. D and his team. Mr. D is amazing with children. He speaks their language and loves to make them laugh and get them engaged. We look forward to BLA every week and I can't wait to see how my son will learn and grow!

We love Blue Line!!! My son had tried a few other karate places and had trouble separating from me, where they were also loud and tight quarters. At Blue Line Academy, the one to one intro with Mr. D gave my son the confidence to enter the class and participate from day 1. Mr.
D has a way of teaching nonstop karate and life skills in the “funnest” way possible. Beautiful, well lit, clean space too! Parents can watch without distracting the kids. Love it here!

Ten Stars! We had a class with Mr D at one of our local karate places and loved him! Unfortunately for us he changed locations. It’s a little bit of a ride for us but totally worth it. Hard to find something and someone that keeps my 4year olds attention and excitement week after week. Mr D is so friendly and fun my son warmed right up to him and listened immediately. He is very good working with the little kids and is extremely knowledgeable about how their minds work. One visit with him and you will be hooked! I love that my son is learning in a fun way how to be more thoughtful, aware, confident and disciplined. Mr Ryan is great too and his daughter is great with the little ones. My son really enjoys his time here. Love this place!!

They are committed to the success of each student. They take an interest in knowing the child. They listen to the students and their parents and create classes around the needs of the students. Their classes are built to have children master their skills in martial arts while weaving in life skills. As an example, they creates a series of classes teaching various martial arts techniques while testing students ability to focus through the use of games using lights, sounds and objects. They children have a blast and leave learning more than any other karate class we have attended, not to mention the great workout. Mr. Ryan and Mr. D are the perfect team. Check them out- you will be so glad that you did.

By far, one of the best decision we made was to enroll our daughter into karate! Karate has helped my insecure & shy daughter become more engaged & confident in everything she does. She is more respectful & overall happier- because she has gained more self esteem.

My son has been taking karate with Mr. D for nearly three years. He has gained intense confidence, many physical and social skills, and is treated respectfully. I wouldn't send him anywhere else, and we happily drive past many karate studios in our new neighborhood to keep him in his class. We love it here and I can't wait to send my younger two!
