I signed up for the New Student special at Nectar Yoga about three weeks ago and have been loving the experience so far. The vibes are immaculate. Kate and all of the instructors are excellent in helping teach the fundamentals of the asanas to beginners. I really enjoy the meditation after the session as it brings a stillness to our mind that is so desperately needed. I plan on signing up for the unlimited classes after my New Student special. 10/10 would recommend.

I have been going to Nectar for about 6 years now and can’t recommend it enough. I was a true beginner when I walked in and was always met where I was in terms of skill or physical limitations. The teachers are very knowledgable and suggest modifications and provide adjustments to keep students safe while challenging them to grow. And growth at Nectar isn’t just through a lens of more difficult poses, but through personal and spiritual growth off the mat. The teachers and leadership at Nectar (Kate Goodyear and Megan Mayer) offer inspiring dharma talks and many opportunities for community connection. I have made solid friendships through this yoga studio and continue to meet kind people through workshops and events. If you’re on the fence, give Nectar a try! I’m certainly glad that I did.

I’ve been a member of Nectar Yoga Studio for over 5 years, and it continues to be such a positive and grounding part of my life. There are plenty of classes offered both mornings and evenings, which makes it easy to fit yoga into my schedule. Kate and all of the instructors at both locations are highly trained, supportive, and always quick to offer assistance so you can get the most out of your practice.

What sets Nectar apart, though, is their commitment to building community. Beyond creating a welcoming environment inside the studio, they also give back through their annual back-to-school and holiday drives. That sense of care and connection is woven into everything they do.

Nectar Yoga Studio is truly a wonderful place to practice yoga, grow, and feel part of something bigger.

I go to Nectar yoga studio for a lot of reasons: 1. I enjoy the challenge. There is never a day I don’t feel challenged by the practice offered and I marvel how my body, having had a lifetime engaged with various sports and athletics, can be challenged so much by what I learn here. 2. I appreciate how the philosophy/spirituality of yoga is available here, but as you wish to take it, either by your own study and/or by your choice of instructor. 3. It is a spiritually positive place to be. It is perhaps the most spiritual place I have in my life. Every hour I spend at the studio is an hour to the good. 4. The existence of community. The instructors, while highly skilled and talented are also friendly and accessible teachers and just as fellow humans. I treasure the space, my teachers and fellow students at Nectar and I think you will too.

I confess that I’m a Nectar regular and love the Vinyasa classes taught by owner Kate. Recently, I branched out and enjoyed a phenomenal class taught by Ashley Rathman who teaches Yin and restorative yoga and a sweet midday Vinyasa yoga class taught by Megan McGuirk.

Nectar is a super supportive community, accepting of all shapes, ages, orientations, and persuasions. It’s a great environment for beginners and it continues to challenge those who us who have been doing yoga longer.

Big fan of this yoga studio. I've been practicing here regularly since August. This is a welcoming and inclusive community; I'm so glad it exists in Phoenixville. While the studio offers both vinyasa and yin, the studio is not simply asana focused. You'll learn about the other limbs/aspects of yoga as well. With plenty of classes everyday to choose from there's usually one that works with my schedule. They also have a nice variety of workshops each month and organize donations to local charities. Highly recommend to anyone looking to start or continue their yoga practice.

Nectar Yoga is the best studio I've ever joined. The numerous instructors are well-trained and offer a variety of practices. Classes are available 7 days a week: daily, nightly, weekends, holidays. The unlimited membership is a great value. In addition to the fabulous classes, the community is friendly, inclusive, and diverse. I absolutely love going to class every day. All the teachers are very welcoming and supportive of all skill levels. They remember everyone by name and offer feedback that is tailored to the individual. I like that Nectar teachers don’t reduce yoga to just a workout. You’ll learn all aspects of yoga, including meditation and breath work. You’re encouraged to listen to your body, and no one will judge you if you need to rest in child’s pose in the middle of a standing sequence.

I started my practice at Nectar a little over a year ago and I've been going pretty regularly ever since. The Nectar community is incredibly friendly and accepting no matter where you are on your yoga journey. I don't think I'd go nearly as often if it weren't for the instructors and members that make up Nectar. Every instructor is unique and every class offers something different. The addition of yoga and the Nectar community has been a significant boon to both my physical, mental, adn emotional wellness. I am so grateful for Kate, Emily, and everyone else who have been so helpful and encouraging. I can't recommend Nectar enough.

After moving to the area, I spent lots of time looking for a new place to practice yoga. I've been a Nectar member for about 90 days now, and I'm very happy with the studio and its community. Instructors are friendly and make good suggestions to improve my practice. The studio is one large space and fellow students are welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised to find that while Nectar is not heated, their vinyasa classes still offer a stimulating workout, improved flexibility, and relaxed mindfulness. (I'll take all those benefits and skip the sweat, thank you.) Classes are offered with many time options and feature a range of instructors, so I have no problem squeezing classes into my busy schedule, while other students who prefer consistency seem happy, too. Free parking is readily available on the wide streets or in Nectar's lot behind the building. I'm glad I tried Nectar!

Nectar yoga is by far one of the best yoga studios I have had the chance to practice at. From unique and challenging yoga classes offered by Kate and Megan Mayer to cozy deep stretching yin classes with Ashley, there is a class style available for anyone and everyone. All teachers offer their own personal flare to their classes and the studio atmosphere also offers a chance to be part of a community while still able practice mindfulness on your mat. 10/10 would recommend!

I absolutely recommend Nectar for anyone interested in learning about yoga or for lifelong practitioners. The studio is warm and inviting, the teachers are inspiring and though-provoking and the classes are phenomenal. Nectar is more than just a place to work out - it is a place to connect, to laugh, to cry and to reflect deeply. My experience being a student at Nectar for over 18 months now has been life-changing and buying a membership was the greatest gift I could give myself. If you are unsure, take a class. I guarantee you won't regret it.

Excellent. Amazing. Da bomb.

Every instructor I've had the pleasure of a class with at Nectar is unusually excellent. The space is lovely, peaceful, thoughtfully designed, and impeccably clean. The owner and instructors all share values that make them welcoming, deeply knowledgeable, centered, and good at teaching yoga. Whether it's the poses and the flow you're into, or your approach is more spiritually focused; whether you're looking for a beginner's class or have an advanced practice; man or woman; there's a good chance you'll find your people and a happy place here.

If you're debating trying yoga or trying a new studio, look no further, you've found it, just get in here!

I've done yoga off and on for years and needed a new place to practice so I started at Nectar four months ago. I was impressed from the start and that has only continued, I wish I had joined sooner! Kate and her staff do an incredible job creating a warm, intentional, and inclusive environment. There are so many offerings and workshops that you can engage in to deepen your spiritual and physical practice as well as simply have fun and get to know other members. I love that you see all different types of people in classes, there are community classes that make yoga more accessible for those who otherwise wouldn't be able to benefit from it, and the instructors teach in a way that really balances the classes - they're challenging without being hard for the sake of being hard, incorporate tradition and education, and also keep it light and fun making it easy to really dig into the practice and get into your head in the right way.

There are a few things that frustrated me about this studio.
First and foremost: They require a 30 days *written* notice to cancel an auto pay which feels so predatory. I'm being conned into paying an extra $125 because of some fine print like this is a modern day "Gold's Gym" scam. Gross. There is no way to cancel it online, it's a trap!

I never felt a sense of community at this studio. I only felt welcomed by one instructor, I think her name was Megan. The owner, Kate, is rather cold and impersonal... not warm and welcoming like you might expect from a Yogi.

There are only two types of yoga here; Yin and Vinyasa. There are "Beginner Vinyasa" classes that didn't feel all that "beginner-y" and were few and far between. Because of that, the beginner classes were so full, making it even more intimidating to a beginner.

Considering I asked for the owner to call me back to discuss my autopay and never heard back, it further shows me that I chose the wrong studio. I'm truly not impressed with my experience at Nectar and that's just being honest, not malicious.

I am so glad I found Nectar—when I got vaccinated and things started opening up again, I knew I wanted to find a place to get back into a regular fitness practice, but after the transformative year 2020 was, I wanted more—a community, a place where I can develop spiritually and finally get into a wheel/headstand/chaturanga—a place to grow my muscles and my mind. Kate has created a welcoming inclusive community where you get poems with your pushups, or harmonium with your headstands. Yoga is about more than your chaturanga and you get it all here. You should come.

After a decade long break from yoga I decided it was time to start my practice again. I found Nectar Yoga nine months ago and since then my life has improved tremendously. I’ve gained muscle and flexibility and a new community filled with loving and interesting individuals. My chronic knee and wrist injuries have almost disappeared and with each month that passes I continue to get stronger. Kate Goodyear’s classes are thoughtful and challenging. She chooses new themes each month with variations every week. You are always taking in something new to consider mentally and physically.
