I had been a member of the local YMCA for years, going sporadically, trying to self-motivate, working the ellipticals, treadmills, weights, machines... aimlessly. Then Ivan with Next Step Performance (NSP) opened right about the same time of the birth of my first son, and just before my 50th birthday. I wanted to be healthy. I wanted to get healthier to be around when my son was older. So I gave Ivan a try. I lost 15 lbs within the first two months working out with Ivan at NSP. Not since playing football and running track 30 years ago in high school have I felt this in shape. Not only have I lost the weight and kept if off for almost 2 years now, I've also gained strength, balance and flexibility. My clothes fit the way they should (I had to get rid of a lot of old pants that were too big). The biggest gain has been feeling like I have a lot of my physical youth back, so that I will be able to keep up with my son for years. Whether choosing small group training, semi-private, or private workout sessions, Ivan keeps you challenged and motivated, no matter what your current physical ability is. Now if only he can figure a way to get my hair back...
