This is not a gym, this is a personal training private studio that is personalized to what you need as a person. Coach Nick and Coach Christian do a great work customizing workouts based on your own needs.

I’d recommend any new young adults or men and women in their 40s+ to working out to train here at NF Sport Strength. Their small group personal training model is unmatched and is the best bang for your buck.

The small group personal training model allows the coach to focus on you as an individual and correct any techniques or failures and make real time adjustments to exercises that you can or cannot do.

The progress that I’ve made over the last 8 weeks has been amazing. I love training here and I recommend anyone who is intimidated to working out at a gym.

I have been coming to NF Sports Strength since mid December. The coaches are great at explaining what to do and also showing you how to do a different workout if you’re not able to do a particular move. The classes are small and very friendly. I came to NF Sports Strength and Personal training in early November 2024. After my initial consultation I knew I was hooked! I had my “why?” As a 57 year old mom of two grown children I wanted to do something for me. As we age we lose muscle mass and that is a scary thought. Being independent as I age is very important to me. I was looking to gain strength and overall functionality in my everyday life. Well I have to say I’ve not only gained the strength I was looking for, and so much more! The coaches - Nick F, Nick M. and the newest trainer Christian are truly an amazing team! Professional, caring and beyond a wealth of knowledge when it comes functional workouts. Educating yourself is key! Which is what I wanted and absolutely got! 💯 I now have the knowledge and tools to continue to “workout” in my everyday life and feel good all the time. Before joining the gym, I was afraid to lift a gallon of milk in fear of hurting myself LOL. Not anymore! 💪🏼 Thank you team NF for showing me the way!

Started training with this gym in October and my progress has been phenomenal. Is a small gym which does not overwhelm you. Coach Nick developed a personal workout planner based on my needs. What I have learned is that to achieve your goals you must know what to do and how to do it properly and that is why I like this gym, you are corrected real time.
My strength and weight control has improved as well as my balance and stability. I just realized that a pain I had in my left knee before I started is gone.

I am a high school girls lacrosse player, going to college next year on scholarship to play and I never worked out before.

I originally came to the gym to learn how to workout and prepare for the college workouts.

I’ve been training here for the last 2 months and felt like I’ve gained more confidence, strength, and comfortability around the weight room.

I am learning the proper techniques on how to squat, bench press, deadlift, and building up my core so I can become more injury resistant.

Since joining NF Sports I have learned the importance of Strength Training for our body. Previously coming from a commercial gym and working out myself without any guidance I was finding myself with lots of aches and pains after my workouts. I was one of those people that needed to sweat and constantly push myself more in order to feel like I actually worked out! Nick is a great trainer and his gym is clean and welcoming. The routines are progressive and wholistic. Stretching and warm-ups are incorporated. I hit a plateau after years of strength and cardio training, primarily with kettlebells. It started to take a toll on specific areas (shoulders and knees) while other areas were neglected. I also fell off after work schedules changed and need something closer and more flexible. NF sports strength hit all the marks. There is a definite progression and it’s almost impossible to miss the gym. There is also a real community around the gym, not enough to distract, but enough to make you miss not going. It’s been a little over two months, and I make it 4-5 days a week. While the training focuses on functional strength and general fitness, Nick is also concerned with our mental and physical well being, with advice and direction on sleep, diet, and mental fitness. Coupled with extracurriculars like yoga, sauna trips, or hiking, if you were looking for something “more” than what you’re doing, I encourage you to give NF Sports Strength a try.

Nick is the excellent coach who saved my life. I have an asthma and last years I couldn’t get out of the circle down 10 pounds and gain them back when sick. Coach Nick is attentive and personable. I like the system of scheduling group classes and rotating people through exercise stations. There was a real personal touch to tracking progress and encouraging members. There is a lot of importance placed on managing your goals and working around your strengths and weaknesses.

I met Nick in November 2022 and immediately I decided to join the Gym. I started my journey having him as a personal trainer. It was hard, sweaty and unpleasant at times. Nick's excellent profesionalism, devotion to what he does and broad personality helped me overcome the rough beginning. And I started to like it. I enjoy every day I am at the gym. I was even more devoted after I saw first results. I've had some experience with Coach Nick as he had helped my Middle Township Baseball team lift and train throughout the off season. His training really improved my game by making me much stronger overall. I go to Archbishop Wood and I play baseball for the Philly Bandits 16u. I learned many things while I was here but one thing that stood out to me in particular was active and passive. When you are doing a workout, you want to be active with your body. It makes it so much easier to get better reps in. Coach Nick has been training my high school baseball team for the past three years and it’s been a critical part to our success. Coach Nick builds a program that helps my team focus on gaining strength, gaining knowledge on how to train, staying healthy and building confidence in themselves. He really takes the time to show our athletes the “how” and “why” behind everything in the program and his attention to detail is something that’s hard to find in a trainer with so many clients. His program builds a culture of working hard but also focusing on a couple key aspects of lifting, all of which are very important at the high school level. These are form, tempo, selecting the right weight and hitting all of the reps.

Last year we did three phases of Coach Nick’s program, with the last being our in-season training phase. We were lifting and maintaining strength throughout the entire season, even into our playoff week, which not many teams do. Our kids bought in from the beginning, but especially bought in after knowing how good it made them feel throughout the season. They would mention how it would help eliminate soreness, maintain strength and ultimately give them confidence in themselves and their bodies. One of the biggest products that came out of our training with Coach Nick was the fact that we had ZERO injuries last year! I directly attribute that to our commitment to his program. In the beginning of this year 2022, I was looking to get healthy.
I wanted to start exercising, eat healthy foods, get better heart health.

I was referred to NF Sports Strength by a couple of individuals already enrolled. I signed up at the end of January and only wished I did this sooner!

My nagging body aches are gone. I have more strength and endurance along with better cholesterol numbers, heart rate, blood pressure and lower stress.

Having a professional trainer that works with you every day is the difference between other gym’s that we all could go too. After 3 month’s at these other gym’s I would have probable hurt myself from lack of knowledge on how to exercise correctly, or just loose interest to overcrowding or many other reasons why these gym’s just didn’t work for me.

I am 6 months into this program and I absolutely love it! Workout plans are developed for you and each workout plan has a purpose and tracked. My Shiatsu therapist suggested I strength train but I knew I needed to be pushed because I am the type of person that will skip the gym and was looking for a trainer that would be patient enough to work with me. Only because the first few weeks were going to be challenging.

However, from working out in the past, I knew that after the first two weeks my pain would decrease and I would feel so much better. When I started working out at NF sports strength I was throwing 80-83 mph and my upper body and lower body strength felt weak and not powerful. After 12 weeks of training with coach nick ferd I’m now able to complete 12 full normal range chin ups and all the lower body exercise we’ve done (squats split squats front squats deadlifts) have all contributed to increasing my pitching velocity I’m now 83-85 mph. Not to mention my confidence is totally different. I now feel dominate on the mound because of how hard the trainings we do at NF sport strength so it makes everything else I do easier.
