I took Yin/Restore class with Anna. Annaβs class was amazing. Her voice is super calm and relaxing, which made it really easy to unwind on a Sunday night.
The flow was gentle but effectiveβI came in with neck and shoulder pain, and by the end, it was completely gone. I left feeling super relaxed and recharged.
Highly recommend if you need to slow down and take care of yourself.

Absolutely the best yoga studio in the city! Megan is truly a great human being who supports her students and the community. All of the teachers are genuinely kind and provide excellent instruction in their own unique ways. They also offer many workshops and several kid-inclusive classes that our family loves. I cannot say enough about how positive my experience has been with Megan and this studio over the years. Highly recommend to anyone of any practice level.

Iβve practiced at different yoga studios for 15 years and Iβm glad that in 2021 I found my forever studio. Every teacher is extremely qualified and has their own style of teaching. It feels like every week I have a new favorite teacher. Not only do you receive the best teachers and yoga practice, but you also join a beautiful yoga community. Every person is welcomed, and you will leave class feeling on top of the world, and with a new friend or two.

One Point One is by far the best yoga studio I have ever attended. And that is saying something since I've been to many studios in Pittsburgh and around the world (travel for work). Whether you are new to yoga and looking for a pure physical practice or you are far along on your yoga journey and looking to delve deeper into yoga philosophy, the studio can support you and your growth. Unlike many other studios or fitness centers where you walk in and maybe don't talk to anyone the whole time you are there, you will be instantly welcomed into the community at One Point One, meet kind people, and enjoy in a truly inviting and welcoming space. Do yourself a favor and sign up to try the studio for two weeks. You won't regret it. There are opportunities to do a work-trade (seva) as well for reduced prices if money is an issue. Megan and her incredible team of teachers have created a truly unique space and it is an incredible gift to our community to have this studio in Pittsburgh. Try it! You'll love it!

The best yoga studio in town, by far, and I've tried most. The perfect blend of breathwork, spirituality, meaningful flow, attunement and acceptance of all body types, and general, all around kindness. I haven't found a class, time or instructor that I didn't vibe with. They each have a fountain of knowledge and make sure you're comfortable. It's more than yogic-exercise here and I love that.

From the moment I stepped into 1.1, I was met with serenity and calm. This studio is not just a physical space but a sanctuary of well-being. Its ambiance exudes warmth, peacefulness and creativity, making it one of the best places in the city for those seeking to learn, grow, meditate, and move.
Whether you're an early bird wanting some solitary time on your mat amidst the morning's quietude or someone yearning for a tight-knit, nurturing community, this studio has it all. The supportive community here is unmatched, and they truly exemplify the essence of togetherness.
The diversity and expertise of the teachers at this studio are commendable. Each brings a unique style, yet all are united in their depth of knowledge, creativity, and commitment. Drawing from both time-honored traditions and contemporary scientific insights, they ensure that every student's journey is both enlightening and grounded in safety.
For those seeking deeper dives into specific aspects of their practice, the workshops offer invaluable opportunities. They are thoughtfully crafted, providing students with rich insights and hands-on experience.
And last but certainly not the least, the Sunday 'church' classes are a transcendent experience. Imagine a room where hearts synchronize in song, breath, and movement, creating an ambiance full of love and collective energy. It's a spiritually uplifting session.
1.1 is more than just a studioβit's a transformative experience. Highly recommended!!

I love this yoga studio. I purchased a virtual membership and within a week of taking classes at home I bought in person classes. The teachers are energetic, friendly and extremely helpful. It is exactly what I was looking for and I brought my 18 year old daughter along and she also had a great time and a great workout. I highly recommend this studio it is has the perfect vibe!

I've been to several yoga studios in Pittsburgh and other cities, and One Point One is probably my favorite along with Yoga Hive. They both have some of my favorite instructors and styles of class.
Personally, I don't want an overly-heated room that just makes me sweat to feel like I'm getting a workout. A sauna does not give you a workout. I also don't want to listen to pop jams with distracting lyrics, or sad singer-songwriter breakup songs. Thankfully, most of the classes I have taken at One Point One have avoided all of this. Several seem to go to have no music at all - allowing you to focus on the flow and be present in your body, and to move at your own rhythm. If there is music, its often instrumental and less beat-forward. One or two classes did have more pop music (Kristen and Megan's, if I recall), if that's your jam. Temps are comfortably warm. If you sweat, it is because you're working hard.
I used to be the kind of person who didn't want to hear about anything related to meditation, the spirit, energy, "namaste", inner light, Om, etc - just give me a workout and some stretching! At some point in my life, though, that shifted, and I've come to find that there's so much deeper meaning, healing, and introspective growth to be gotten out of yoga than just burning some calories from standing up and getting back on the floor a hundred times.
Several of the instructors here help guide that journey much more than I've experienced at other Pittsburgh studios (perhaps with the exception of Yoga Hive, which I find similar), and I'm grateful for them sharing their practice and journeys with Pittsburgh. I particularly have enjoyed classes from Maryellen, Haley, and Sadie. I need to try some of the other instructors, but these 3 have been so good that its hard to not re-book with them!
They offer good unique flows and poses, good cues and clear instruction for where you should be feeling a pose in your body and micro-adjustments to make, modifications for more or less challenge or for injuries. They also do keep a good eye on the participants in the class, and will offer minor corrections - which I really appreciate. Sometimes there is guided meditation, which helps re-center.
The space is also quite nice. The lobby room is large and comfortable - providing an entire class ample space to deal with putting shoes and jackets on. The studio floor is a long room, which I've found I prefer over a very wide room (like Om Lounge) because you're all facing the instructor. There are no obstructions like poles or anything in the middle of the studio floor (like Yoga Love), and it's plenty tall for even me (6'3") to not hit anything overhead. Occasionally, you get a little noise from Penn Ave, but it is rarely disruptive enough to lose meditative focus.
Pricing is reasonable with packages. Unfortunately, they are not on Classpass - but I suspect if they were that classes would be overly full and not as enjoyable. I'm happy to pay a little extra for the quality and a little more breathing and reaching room.

On a scale of cotton candy to Brussels sprouts, One Point One Yoga is a freshly made salad.
When you decide to attend a yoga class here, be sure to sign up and pay online before arriving as the website says they only accept pre-paid participants.
Walking into the studio felt like I had been transported to the coziest magazine spread of design inspiration. While the yoga instructor gave me a quick tour of the space, it was also very intuitive.
The class started promptly, and the instructor moved us through the vinyasa expertly with great instructions throughout.

I canβt say enough good things about this studio. The owner has incredible integrity in business practices and generates goodwill through her policies . They leave room for donation based spots in class to allow those who canβt afford it to still take a class. And to top it off, Kelly and Megan (donβt know about the others, these are the two I have taken the most classes from) are practical and knowledgeable instructors who donβt use flowery language -
Something I appreciate very much after many years in the yoga field.

This studio offers skillful, attentive, and intentional classes. The vibe is welcoming to students of all levels and creates a safe space to feel held in both body and spirit. Anyone who has walked through the door can attest that this is not only a place to physically practice the art of yoga, but creates a community that is unfailing and unparalleled.

A space that truly welcomes you wherever you are in your yoga practice. My friend and I found 1.1 back in 2017, when we were reunited together in pittsburgh as roommatesβboth seeking comfort within ourselves and a studio to call home. One of the best decisions I have ever made.
Intentional teachers lead you with offerings for the body and the mind that bring a sense of peace amidst the chaos we live in.
1.1 is a safe space and one I could not recommend more.

I practiced with one point one yoga to finish 2021 & ring in 2022. I enjoyed my practice with each of the four instructors I tried: Megan, Steve, Sadie and Hallie. They curated good practices, with options for practitioners of all levels. The studio itself is beautiful with exposed brick, lvp floors, and a welcoming gathering room. Lastly, the vibrant community of practitioners was very enjoyable to be a part of. Highly recommend.

I have never felt more welcome walking in to a business before. The teachers are all so warm and friendly and lead really amazing classes. I took my first class out of curiosity but decided to get a membership because of how amazing I felt EVERY SINGLE TIME I walk out of that studio. With now several years of regular classes there I have much better body control, flexibility, and know exactly how to take a calming breath whenever life gets hectic.
I have also been extremely impressed with the lengths taken by Megan and co to keep everyone safe during COVID. I have felt extremely safe yet still comfortable every time in there. They have managed to remain a sanctuary of calm and good energy with all the chaotic events of the last year and a half. I can't think of a better place out there that can offer so much for both your physical and mental well being! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This is what I'd hope every yoga studio ever would be like! Each class is different because the teachers create such creative and fun flows. Every single class I've taken is wonderful with great cues and lots focus on intention and the transitions. If you're looking for a homey studio with lots of heart & soul and an emphasis on mindfulness and creativity this is it. I should also mention the decor is awesome and the brick walls and tall ceilings add a lot to the atmosphere. I recommend Koy's class -my personal fave- (creative and playful), Becca's class (dance-y and challenging), and Sadie's class (intentional and therapeutic). Unfortunately I am moving soon and I know I'll always be comparing other studios to this one. Love One Point One!

Affordable, very calming atmosphere, and offers a great variety of different types of yoga/meditation. They always have something going on, whether it's at the crack of dawn, late at night or anywhere in between. Parking is limited to the street meters, but they are very good at starting/ending on time. I went to an evening cool-down session with Laurnie and loved it. I felt very centered and encouraged to take more time for myself and my body. I'm planning to go back for one of her other sessions.

A wonderful yoga studio perfect for yogis of all experience levels! The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and motivating! Even when I'm in a lull, they will challenge me to try something I didn't think I could do. There's a class here for everyone - meditators, people needing a workout, and those needing some myofascial release!

I'm halfway through the 31 day pass and have fallen in love with this studio. The instructors are kind, unassuming and INCREDIBLY knowledgeable. I feel calmer just walking into the space- it's lovely. I've tried at least half of the instructor's classes thus far and have truly loved them all! It's great knowing you will be guaranteed an incredible practice no matter who you take from. Their schedule is also very convenient, there are lots of classes every day, and I love the early morning options that still give me time to get to work. Many of the classes are 75 or 90 minute- what a difference that extra time can make. There is always a focus on your intention and self-love, giving the practice a mental and emotional depth to it beyond the physical challenge.
