In response to Lordβs negative one star review - Iβd say Iβve never heard or seen the behavior theyβve described and have only felt welcomed, encouraged, and motivated at OT. Mary and staff have been nothing but amazing and accommodating during my time at OT.
Iβm only in the area for a limited time due to family obligations and they have gone above and beyond to be accommodating. All the coaches and fellow members have been wonderful.

Hello,
This place is the real life version of those cheesy high school movies. I showed up for my first free class and I was appalled by what I heard. When leaving the bathroom I overheard some of the staff bad mouthing other coworkers and the members. I believe one of the peoples name was Mary or something and I didnβt catch the other names. After hearing this I finished my class, all while knowing me and the other members were being judged by the staff. The workouts were mediocre at best and Iβm glad I didnβt end up paying this joke of a business.

Caution advised: I've observed a marked shift in the management team's attitude and friendliness at this location, which has notably deteriorated. If you're considering joining, please take this into account. Moreover, my recent request to transfer to another location was declined. Seems like they're more focused on pinching pennies than on "leading, supporting, and inspiring" with any orange passion!

I am a Springfield member, but have been attending Paoli classes since the Springfield shut down on Christmas. Tomorrow is my last day but I just want to thank the staff and coaches for hosting me during the closure. The coaches are great and I will especially miss Mary at the front desk. I joined OT on 3/1/22, and it has been amazing. The instructors are great. They show you how to use the machines to maximize your workout, and will help you individually with your form. Itβs like having a personal trainer every time you workout. The members are friendly and kind. I have made a few friends already. The women who work at the front desk greet you by name when you come in and when you are leaving. Mary, at the front desk is a gem. She has literally been a blessing to me and my family. I used to be a gym head, but in 2018 I fell off due to several health challenges. My family had been trying to get me back in the gym, because they understood that working out is the best medicine. Mary was the first person I met. She showed me around, explained the program, and signed me up. She checks on me, and motivates me every chance she gets. She even scolds me when Iβm trying to overdo itβ¦ lolβ¦ and she doesnβt just do this with me, she literally does this with all of the members. Mary is a good lady. By the way, I visited another OT to see if this was the norm, but unfortunately it was not. It was a nice gym, but it canβt hold a candle to this place. OT in Paoli is a very special place.

Still loving OTF Paoli almost 5 years in.. It's just a much more inspiration session than anything that we get on the treadmill at home. Limits are pushed every time you walk in, yet you leave with more energy than you had walking in. It's cleaned between workouts, temperatures are taken before class and the workouts are socially distanced. It's safe and extremely motivating! One of the best decisions our family has made.
OLDER: I love that the workouts are different each day yet tend to follow the same general principles. The coaches are inspirational, the workouts are exhilarating and I have really enjoyed being part of something much bigger than just going to the gym. It has really worked for me.

I dread going but love the feeling and accomplishment after! Even though Iβm limping my way out of the studio. Even with with a sprained hip and wrist, itβs worth the pain (w/safe modifications of course)! I definitely feel safe with the COVID cleaning/procedures in place. I canβt ever imagine going back to a normal gym after being a member at Orange Theory. The trainers make sure you are completing the exercises correctly and tend to your needs or previous injuries. I personally had 2 surgeries and when i came back, each trainer made sure I had alternative exercises and checked in on me while in recovery! The trainers motivate and push you to achieve your goals. The environment is friendly and comfortable! My first 2 months there, I lost 25 lbs in a safe and healthy way. The absolute best workouts that burn calories and are FUN! The music, atmosphere, friendly staff get me excited to go to every workout. Orange Theory is the next level of fitness!

Love how it is different everyday! It challenges me more than what I could ever do on my own. I enjoy the convenience of 5am class. Without an early start I would not be able to juggle working out, working full time and being a mom of two young kids! It has helped me deal with the struggle of anxiety, and has gotten me off of heart medication since my palpitations are extremely rare since starting a work out routine. As you can tell, I am a fan!

It is extremely challenging, yet doable. I feel like I really accomplished something at the end. I also love the atmosphere and the staff. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. I donβt feel judged for being out of shape, I feel encouraged. I recently had a medical emergency during class and the staff was all extremely fast acting and got me the help I needed right away. It was also really heartwarming how many of the staff reached out to me to see how I was doing afterwards. I can't recommend this OTF location or the staff enough!

I have been going to OTF Paoli since January. I have the 8 sessions/month plan. I love how quickly the 1-hour workout seems to go as we make transitions from one block of exercises to the next. I also like how every exercise can be modified as needed. Iβve mostly worked with Coaches Laura and Angela and their positive energy is so very helpful in keeping me motivated throughout the workout. I also like how I can track my heart rate throughout the workout - the screen with member stats is clear and easy to see!

I can't say enough great things about Orange Theory Paoli! I love everything about it, and I am not your typical fitness fanatic (in fact, pretty much the opposite). I have struggled my whole life to find a workout that I can stick with, but OTF is the best program I have ever experienced. There are so many reasons:
1. Signing up for the classes in advance ensures that I commit AND attend (no changing my mind when that alarm goes off at 5am)
2. The coaches are amazing - they encourage everyone and really make me want to push my limits!
3. The workouts are different (and dare I say FUN - even the hard ones) every day
4. The staff is so kind and encouraging - they know everyone's name and even cheer us on challenging days
5. The studio is great - always clean and equipment in great condition

I just recently joined OTF in West Chester, PA since it's right behind my house. But the studio in Paoli is next to my office so I've been going there more frequently. I love the 4:45 class and being able to get a great workout in right after work and how convenient it is. I have loved the entire experience so far overall and I highly recommend it if you are looking to get in (or back in) shape!

The workouts are very challenging but they're doable. Other gyms or classes that are too challenging are a turnoff and make me want to give up, but these are really motivating. There are several things I like about both the workout and the Paoli, PA OTF gym.
1. The staff at Paoli is great -- I am a fairly new member but everyone knows my name and the staff makes it a point to say hello and be personable each and every time I come in. This makes easy to want to keep coming back and even harder to cancel classes when I feel like sitting on the couch!
2. The workout is better than any I could devise on my own and the constant change keeps things fresh & interesting. Although sometimes I have to force myself into class, I ALWAYS feel better having went to class.
3. Results: I have lost ~15lbs in two months with very little modification to my diet. Aside from weight, my resting heart rate has improved and my overall fitness level has improved greatly.
4. Challenges: I loved the peak week challenge and I like the ongoing leaderboards -- it keeps things competitive, but it is a friendly competition.

I began going to OTF Paoli about 7 months ago and honestly can say it is my favorite workout. I used to do Crossfit but decided to completely stop and just focus on my OTF classes. OTF focuses on HIIT with a heart rate monitor so that you can determine whether you are in the βorangeβ fat burning zone. I got a really thorough introduction from Tim who explained how the class would work.
Every trainer I've encountered has been extremely motivating (it helps to try out different ones to see who is right for you), every workout is different than the last and I always leave feeling like I have gotten an amazing workout.
Here are some quick things to note about OTF Paoli in no particular order:
1) Friendly, informative front-desk staff who always greet you.
2) Supportive and experienced coaches who encourage and motivate you through each workout.
3) Clean studio space including two unisex bathrooms and two unisex showers with amenities.
4) Accountability check with the heart rate monitoring system. (Plus personal performance summaries of each class emailed or logged into your OTBeat app profile)
5) Efficient class scheduling through the website or the OTBeat app.
If you're on the fence, it's definitely worth trying. It's not scary or intimidating and you'll get a great workout!
