Good gym. Not like the old school gyms of 1990's... But it can get the job done. Be ready to sit back back and watch guys wearing a tank top and a Towel around their waste, in shower shoes working out. The amount of GYMidiots here is amazing. But, that being said. The gym is super clean, the equipment is in great shape. The staff are amazing. Great, gym.

Best gym in York. Was living here for 2 months only and they gave me a great deal, has everything you need and good vibes too. They even had a women’s only part of the gym!! Shoutout Corbin one of the PTs- he gave me a lot of great and personalized tips and advice during our session!

Labor Day hours are awful, no reason to be closed AT NOON on Saturday or Sunday. Monday makes sense….unacceptable. Need a better way to communicate hours changes out ahead of time than just a sign on the door.

Love this gym. Its pretty much a second home. They have a large number of squat racks and plenty of room to workout. There is a nice womens only room that helps women feel comfortable when starting to workout. Tons of treadmills and other cardio equipment. They even have affordable childcare while you workout.

PA Fitness Queensgate is one of the best gyms I’ve been a part of. The facility is kept clean on a daily basis, there is a variety of equipment, plenty of space and an atmosphere of motivation everywhere. Taylor Walker greets you with a big smile every morning. She and the rest of the staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. They go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels comfortable and supported in their fitness journey. The trainers are professional, motivating, and genuinely care about your progress.

If you’re looking for a gym that has great equipment, a supportive atmosphere, and a real sense of community, PA Fitness Queensgate has all of that and then some.

If you like getting roped into difficult to cancel predatory contracts PA Fitness is your company! They told me I had to send a certified letter to cancel my membership. Screw that, I just reported my credit card lost - they'll figure it out after awhile. They should be ashamed how they run their company but from what I hear all gyms are like this. Lesson learned - never sign up for a gym membership.

Seniors Beware of the trap. I was under the understanding that I could check out the workout classes. So I said alright. Then they told me what to eat. Now I donated my kidney to my brother and there's certain things like high protein diets are not good for one kidney. Now I told Corbin that my brother was having surgery and I am taking care of him. I'm not in the same state. So I couldn't do November and then the doctor told me I have to stay with him until at least December 30th. Corbin now wants paperwork from his doctor. First off, I'm retired so I feel I don't owe anyone for my whereabouts. Secondly he said they could freeze my account for December but not November. I have been here in Maryland since November 7th. He also stated I have to keep paying even though I only went 1time to training. I have a years agreement which I had ask to cancel my contact. YOU CAN'T GET OUT FOR A YEAR.

This gym is run by predatory management. Their policy is minors must have in person parent consent to join. The management here signed up my child with no parent, no job, and threatened him with reporting to the credit bureau when he didn’t pay. Basically threatening to ruin his credit. Please steer clear of this business. Revised: they allow other members regardless of age to recommend others without parental approval…I’ll reiterate PREDATORY…stop your excuses…

Had an account issue and spoke with some woman on the phone and the whole time all she could do was maintain an unprofessional demeanor over the phone. First she’s laughing obnoxiously in my ear over the phone and then she puts me on hold for several minutes without her even tell me she was going to do it. Here’s the kicker… when I call her out for the rude service she gets froggy with me. Then I speak to the “general manager” and she’s no better. Place is an absolutely joke.

I was going to join this gym and honestly have never received worst customer service. The person at the first desk Sean was very rude and made me feel as if I was not welcomed.

He offered little help and was very short and dry with answers when I asked questions about the gym’s policies. I know everyone has bad days but this comes off horrible to prospective members.

I am overweight and was just looking for a gym to help me in my weight loss journey. Coming here was big step for me and I already felt nervous and intimidated by the gym at most. So the brief encounter with the young man at the front did help to ease the feeling of not belong here.

Despite this encounter, I will continue my search for a gym… elsewhere.

First time I’ve gone to gym more than once and had to leave because there’s too many people. Most of them talking holding machines. You won’t be able to do any intended workout using machines/ equipment during busy hours.

I have been going to this gym for a year and a half. Good variety of equipment and friendly people. If you like to go in the morning when they open you will regularly be left sitting in the parking lot waiting for them to open. I usually only wait 10 minutes before leaving … they need to find someone reliable
To open the gym. This morning was probably the 10th time this has happened.

Only other complaint I have is in the morning, all of the TVs go through some annoyingly long update literally everyday. It makes them unwatchable for about 15 minutes. Seems very unnecessary and inconvenient for those of us who come first thing in the morning.

Wait till you try and cancel your membership. First, you cant do that inside the gym. They give you a sheet of paper with your contract number and a web address. You register on that site and then the site never loads beyond that. Fine. Then you call the 1 800 number. Well.that goes to an Indian call center where they tell you to use the non working web page. After 2 more calls to India they reluctantly give you an email address to send a written request that never gets answered. I never had any issues when. This gym was golds. My advice is to run far away and choose literally any other gym. The more you know.
Ps. It makes me give at least 1 star. In reality it deserves 0

This Gold's Gym is absolutely amazing! Staff is always friendly and place is always clean. Only thing I would recommend is investing in more wash clothes because sometimes they are a little hard to find. I end up walking to several sanitizing stations to find one. But I always find at least one.

Its ok but just not the same as when it was in the old building as it had that golds gym feel to it. To me it feels more corporate now. Lay outs is ok but be nice to have like some of the machines down by dumbbell area so if u want to use a bench for like chest Flys you can but no free weight machine down below. But anyway over all its a ok gym but like I said its just not the same as the old George St or queen st building one. I think it was the cinder block feel walls

Great gym! Always clean, except inside the lockers sometimes. The personal trainers, at least the guy I had, was a bit pushy with signing up after my free session. Friendly members and never crowded in the mornings. Great dust rack setup with 6 stations. Free weights are abundant.
