If you send your children here you are to blame. So many reports of inappropriateness with children. The fact they allow trainers back is insane. You can walk in there and feel the vibe Iβve walked out twice. Read the paper! Save your child! They need to be shut down. The secret is at the top!

Nepotism destroyed this once great institution. Management was passed down a generation to lazy, incompetent and entitled individuals who have no business running a business. We removed all 3 of our children from this program due to its complete collapse. Parkettes used to be a Mecca for child development and competitive gymnastics, now it is not even a shell of its former self. There is little to no structure in the classes and the "instructors" are far more interested in their phones than attempting to tech any sort of gymnastics. They pay no attention to the children and no one seems to care. I have brought this up with management and have been rudely blown off each time. Save your money, save your time and take your kids somewhere more worthwhile. Its truly a pathetic environment.

My daughter went here back for a daddy and me class as a baby that we enjoyed! Now fast forward to years later and she is in gymnastics and couldn't love it more . All the coaches are great my daughter lights up seeing coach Jenn, coach Rick and really any other coach she interacted with . I don't get the bad reviews. However I guess the best thing is to form your own opinion , because if I listened to the negatives my daughter would be missing out .

The vibe of this place is so unsettling to those trying to get their kids more involved with physical activity in a different way than school sports. Never in a billion years would I go back there with my kids - and I still have classes left I paid for!
Staff treats the children as if theyβre 18 in basic training - yelling and belittling anyone who isnβt a βsuperstarβ. The fact they say in their website that they are dedicated to providing every child with a complete and positive athletic experience is an absolute joke.
Parents feel unnecessarily entitled and rude to others who arenβt βon their levelβ. I met a Marisa Draser and the things she said about others behind their backs was absolutely appalling. Literally one cares that your kids are naturally gifted athletes and better than everyone else there.
If I knew I was signing my kids up to be ridiculed by arrogant people I would have never gave them my paycheck. This program doesnβt develop anyone in a positive way - they take kids who are exceptionally gifted and exploit that to claim theyβre producers of champions.
Do yourself a favor and believe the other one star reviews. I would have saved a lot of money if I took that advice myself.

This place is fraud. My daughter, who is a professional dancer was hired by their administrator Brooke to teach dance classes during their summer intensive. She thought 6 classes but was only paid for four. When she told Brooke that the amount on the check is lower than supposed to be, Brooke said that they will mail the remaining amount. Unfortunately, the remaining amount has never came and Brooke disappeared and has never responded to messages or call. My daughter drove three hours per day to teach these classes and it just extremely low when people act that way, itβs very easy to ruin the reputation which was built for years.

I wish I could give a 0. My daughter who did not know how to speak English the staff thought she was not paying attention, they yelled at her and a old lady yelled at her so loud she started crying and never went there again. She ruined my child.

I signed my (then) 4 year old son up for a introductory summer tumbling program at the recommendation of a friend, and was very disappointed in the staff's ability to work with my son who is on the autism spectrum. I could visibly see their frustration, despite his behaviors being fairly low level. I offered to assist my son through the class, but was told I could not do so, even though the staff's body language and faces showed their frustration and lack of willingness to work with a child with some minor behavioral challenges. I'm sure a more typical child might be successful there, but we did not feel welcome. We stopped going. Was a shame.

My daughter is a competitive dancer and with her now entering the junior division I NEEDED her to up her tumbling, I first put her in the tumbling class where she learned NOT 1 thing the whole 3 months, she was grouped with kids who canβt even do a front roll or cartwheel when sheβs already learning her aerial and back handspring. So then I put her in the acro dance class and again hasnβt learned a thing I get so frustrated watching that class I want to scream! Instead of being taught what she needs to learn which I have been vocal about I watch her doing stuff she already excels in like back walkovers, one handed front walkovers ect. Itβs so VERY frustrating and a waste of over $400! When the session is over I will NEVER be back! Iβll go to force and get privates and hopefully she will learn what she needs to!

They do not really teach the kids new skills, but instead let them practice what they know from home. If that's what you want, then I recommend this place. I wanted them to actually teach my daughter new skills. I know it's a big request these days, to actually get what you paid for.

I removed my son from his previous gym to give him a better experience and training due to Parkettes reputation. Truly the worst mistake I could have made. All energy, coaching and training is put into the girls program and the boys who have been training since walking age and have immense experience already. If you are a young boy looking to advance and learn no matter the price do not waste your time. The "intermediate" program is ran by a family member who uses your money to mess around and spend 90 minutes walking around. Complaining does nothing. He has regressed immensely and after this session is up we are changing gyms. Do not waste your time if you don't have a girl or a boy prodigy.

Coaches seem nice, and itβs a big facility. I know they have a great training reputation, but my main issue with them is that their level of cleanliness is very low. Upon entering there is a horrible smell, and the bathrooms were visibly filthy. With everything going on now, I would imagine cleanliness would be extremely important. I donβt know if we will be returning simply because of this.

The pricing is very fair. The building is very clean and welcoming. The coaches are amazing, they are kind and firm. The preschool program is so wonderful my child does want to leave. A wonderful place with great programs we have tried preschool, gymnastics, you and me, camp, and parents night out and have been impressed with how much our child enjoys herself there.

Do not sign your child up for this if you are not 100% certain they are ready and will enjoy the class. My two-year-old has some sensory sensitivity, and I realized after two classes, she wasn't ready for the class we'd signed her up for.
Refunds are not permitted - even if you relocate away from the area and cannot use the credit, as in my case. Disappointed in the lack of understanding and flexibility from this establishment. I couldn't even transfer it to another student in need. $150 down the drain.

I brought my kids to Kindergym for three months. They really liked it, but it was tough for me. My concerns are not related to the classes per se, but were strong enough to deter me from keeping them enrolled. 1) The space dedicated to parents and family members is awful. Extremely small and uncomfortable. They could make an effort to build a more suitable place were we were not all crammed. I always thought that having a cafeteria might be a great advantage as parents could wait in a more comfortable setting and it could be a good business. 2) I always encountered a bad smell as I entered the space. I think that they could do better at keeping carpets and restrooms clean. 3) The changing space is extremely small. I found myself and other parents changing our kids in the foyer, which of course was very uncomfortable. Staff did not like this, but there was not enough space for us parents to do so. 4) They should request a stop light at the crosswalk. It was very hard to get in an out of the parking lot in front of the gym. Drivers did not stop and sometimes they accelerated while pedestrians were waiting to cross. Parkettes classes do have a good reputation, but with its growing clientele and high tuition they could devote more funds to make it a more pleasant space for parents who have to wait there for at least one hour per week.

Parkettes is a phenomenal training center for gymnastics. The coaches are experts in their field and are safety certified. The team environment builds lifelong bonds and teaches so much (i.e., time management, respect, dedication, desire, and determination). All these qualities prove to be great life qualities. I would highly recommend the Parkettes as a training center.

My 4 year old daughter went here for 7 months and loved it. Unfortunately, we had to move out of state otherwise we would still be going here. Coach Kara is awesome and we were very lucky to have such a great coach. Most recent experiences at a new place has made me appreciate coach Kara very much. I wish we could have brought her with us!

There are many gyms you could take your child to in the area but only one is world class. They have the coaches and the experience to help your gymnasts achieve their dreams, whether it's just something fun to do, or trying to go to college on a scholarship or even the Olympics. My daughter absolutely loves it here! I highly recommend 5 *'s!
