My daughter had her birthday party here and Miss Holly was an amazing instructor and provided a wonderful environment for a group of beginners! Her patience with 10 crazy girls was impressive and admirable. The group had such a fun time and we hope to return again in the future! Highly recommend for a unique birthday party idea!

Ms holly is amazing. My daughter has never done this before and first class she was up and flipping. Ms Holly did an amazing job of helping all the kids to have a good time. Being able to see the skill of an older class was also amazing.

This place is really amazing. My family has been taking lessons here for the past 2+ years and I could not be more thankful for the amazing staff at this place.
Safety - The Owner / Instructor puts the safety of everyone above everything else. The rigging and silks are checked weekly for any flaws. All equipment is serviced and replaced or repaired regularly.

Friendly - They spend time during each class teaching and encouraging my daughters to push themselves further.

If you are looking for a new and fun way to spend your extra time then this is the place you should definitely give a chance.

I have been taking classes here for a little over 2 years and I can’t say enough good things about my experience! I started as a novice in the “First Time Flyer” class as a 38 year old woman. I am now in the level 4+ adult and teens class. I have increased my strength and my confidence. Aerial is both a physical and mental challenge. One of the best parts of Pittsburgh Circus School is the amazing and supportive women I get to go to class with every week. We lift each other up and cheer each others accomplishments. I love it there so much I have enrolled my 7 year old daughter in the kids circus school and she has fallen in love with aerial arts too!

My daughter started at Pittsburgh Circus School right after the pandemic. Unlike some other facilities Holly, the owner, placed her in a more advanced class immediately as opposed to placing her in a class based on age. This provided her a valuable opportunity to learn from others at her skill level. She did not initially want to perform in showcases but was still encouraged to grow her skills. Holly's no pressure approach provided Aliza the chance to grow her confidence and now she willingly and excitedly performs in every showcase. It takes a special person to meet the energy of a group of energetic, and sometimes wild, kids with kindness, encouragement and a great sense of humor. Holly is that person. She is a role model for our children and her team. The entire Cirque Team is phenomenal and so attentive. I am so glad that we found Pittsburgh Circus School.

Thank you all for everything you do and for your endless dedication to both the development of skills and character in our kids!

I have been looking for an aerial studio for years and finally found Pittsburgh Circus Center. I do not live in Pittsburgh but in Erie. I drive 4 hours both ways to come to my weekly class. I absolutely love it and have been doing it for 2 years now. The instructors are so helpful, knowledgeable and kind. The people in my class are wonderful too! I wouldn’t drive 4 hours every week if the experience was any less than amazing! I love it there!

We had reserved a 2pm time slot for bungee aerobics. We got a email the same day advising the instructor would be late because her church service was longer than anticipated so the new time was 230 .We went in at about 220 and she was still setting up. There was a line of us at the door just looking at her set up. Kinda weird. She did not greet us or introduce herself because she was so worried about setting up. Fine we understood I guess. So we waited for about a good additional 15 min from the time we got there (220) before she allowed us to the back after the setup. Again, she still never properly introduced herself nor did she apologize for not wanting to leave church early due to having a class at 2pm. The class felt rushed . We tried to make the best of it after all we did pay . I did not enjoy the experience at all and at the end we were rushed out because she had another class which I’m sure they weren’t pleased at how long she took with us . Anyway rant over hated it and will not be back . Just a piece of advice be on time . Being late not only makes every one late with the rest of their day but it makes it rushed . Not a good experience.

I took 3 different classes here, Arial silks, circus training, and pole. Silks was fun and so was circus. But as a beginner at age 25 inwas with literal children. The pole class was the only one with someone my age. The pole instructor was amazing. The silks was ok. The circus class got me seriously injured and I stopped going because of it. We were using the German wheel (again beginner class so I was paired with literal children), I was waiting for the instructor, a literal adult when a kid pushed me not fully strapped into the moving wheel to which I had falled off. I had the wheel roll over my body, I smashed my head on the floor almost dislocated my shoulder (which was bruised for weeks) and all I was told was at least I know what falling feels like. Inwas fine for a day but cancled my other classes for obvious reasons. But the more I thought about it, and the more friends I have in circus, the more I see how un professional they were and how unsafe it all was (aside from pole). I am glad I stopped going.

My sister and I purchased 2 groupons for the first time aerial flyers class. However, they redeemed our groupons a day in advance. On the day of the class, my sister and I were unable to make the class due to unforeseen traffic issues (3 car accident) and would be unfortunately missing out on the scheduled class. We contacted the school through 3 different modalities asking them for advice and hoping to reschedule since they already redeemed the groupon prematurely. However, they did not get back to us until later that night and explained they have a 5 minute late policy with no exceptions. They didn’t offer us credits to retake a class even though they redeemed the groupon before we even got a chance to use it. Basically gave us the “sorry about your luck” card. Unfortunately, if they had not redeemed the groupon prematurely, I would still have it, but that is definitely not the case in this situation, nor would I want to redeem it after my experience with them. I would be very weary to those who choose to go to this school because they do not offer refunds or sympathy for missing a class, no matter the reason.

I have been attending here for almost a yr. Last yr I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try something I have ALWAYS wished I could do. From the 1st class Kat not only cheered me on, broke down complex steps but made me feel comfortable!!! My 18 yr old daughter joined with me(to bond and get in shape) and I can't thank you guys enough. We are closer than ever and both in the best shape of our lives. We count down the days until class. Last month I scheduled a private with Kat for my 9 yr old and Kat was BEYOND amazing with her!!!! Not only did my little one fall in love with aerial but fell in love with Kat as well!!!! This weekend she will be attending her 1st group class and I know she is in GREAT hands!!! The only bad thing is my poor husband is out of the loop cuz he is the ONLY one in my house who doesn't attend PCC!!!

The owner did not receive feedback well when I told her that her teachers were sitting on their phones and not being attentive to the children. She became rude and curt with me as a result. I would not recommend this facility unless you’re guaranteed the owner as the instructor. Her staff don’t pay attention to the kids, putting the children at risk. After a year of putting up with this, even she stated that my daughter only made ‘some’ progress, despite having a rig at home to practice. For $25/class, I’d expect more than ‘some’ progress from a committed child who never misses class and works hard. In short, not worth the money for the way your children are ignored. Too much of a risk. Just too dangerous.

Further, the school had a valid form of payment after my card was stolen twice. The owner claims to have never received it, yet somehow got paid anyway. My daughter was kicked out two weeks after I notified her that her teachers ignore the kids. My daughter streams video so I can watch her from my car as she feels awkward with me watching. She does the same thing with her voice instructor. I have seen your teacher sitting on her phone, and we have it in video. The timing of my daughter not being allowed back is suspicious. My daughter just avoided the ‘tricks’ that she thought were dangerous since the teacher wasn’t paying attention. I thought it would change when the owner came back after 9 months. What changed is that my daughter is no longer welcome there. Like I said, if you don’t get the owner teaching, guaranteed, do not go to this business.

Had so much fun at the first time flyer class! It is definitely beginner friendly for adults, but physically challenging! I couldn’t do a few of the moves because I lacked the upper body strength, but I’m surprised by how many I could do! I felt safe and comfortable the whole time. Allison was a great instructor 😊

My wife booked an aerial yoga session. Two days before the class, our daughter received a positive COVID test. My wife contacted Pittsburgh Citrus School about rescheduling her session (not canceling or refunding it, mind you) and was told that was against their business practices. So everyone know in advance that this business puts their profits ahead of the health and safety of their customers (since my wife would have been allowed to still attend the indoor session while potentially contagious). Great policy during a global pandemic! I hope everyone else chooses to take their business elsewhere.

Let me just start with I’m an on call nurse, things change supper fast I booked a private I gave a 24 hour in advance notice that I couldn’t make it I already paid for the private I asked to reschedule and they said they wouldn’t reschedule me and they wouldn’t refund me. Very disappointed nowhere on anything does it say that you can’t cancel.
