Not my home gym , came here on a late work night. NEVER AGAIN ! . Felt like I was in an high school daycare . Gathering of high schoolers holding up equipment not using anything. Front desk people engaging in the speciations of teenagers . Equipment filthy / broken. Ladies room filthy. It’s way better PF’S that should have the privilege of staying open late instead of this one. Looks like illegal things happen at this gym after hour does not feel safe going into this gym first and last time at this gym .

Planet fitness has completely reinvented themselves. The amenities, equipment, and overall cleanliness is 10/10!

Aaron and Nick were very informative! They answered every single question and I had a lot! They explained how the app works and different classes, in person and at home.

After visiting this location and speaking with them, I was sold. Forever will stay with the Pfit family!

Plus, if you travel for work they are everywhere! Very affordable with the black membership!

Every time I walk in, it smells. One of the staff members speak/greet. Otherwise, they only talk to each other or stare into their phones. But the thing that pisses me off the most about this location is the condition of the cardio machines! UPGRADE THEM. It’s so annoying being in the middle of a cardio workout and a “low battery” screen flashes across your screen and the machine restarts. This particular day I been on 3 machines and 3/3 of them reset on me! Last time I was here, the elliptical kept saying low battery and resetting. This gym has been here a while—since a little after I graduated from Neumann Universityz upgrade the machines! Some of them wobble and others just don’t work! And train your staff on customer service skills that actually matter because they do the very bare minimum in here. If I wasn’t pressed for time, I would’ve gone to the ROCKY RUN Y, which knows how to manage a gym

Been going there for 4years, today I had my last straw. The staff is lazy, worried about playing on their phones and talking to each other behind the desk. Had a simple problem today that they couldn't solve nor seemed if they cared to solve, another PF figured it out in under 90 seconds. The woman was ignorant and pretentious. Will cancel my membership immediately at my home store and join one of the other gyms in a 2mile radius. I had never been treated so poorly in the last 20 yrs anywhere.

I really enjoy the Aston Planet Fitness. I’ve been a member at this location for many years and love the atmosphere, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff. The patrons are so happy to see each other. Aaron, the manager, always greets everyone with a smile, and is so helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend this location.

I never write reviews, but I can’t resist on this one. This isn’t my go-to Planet Fitness location, and the main reason is because of how the staff (one in particular) treat the patrons. The older gentleman (or lack thereof) behind the counter is consistently and unnecessarily rude. Last time I was in, I witnessed him berating some “kids” over the dumbest stuff. Told them not to come back.

Today, I got my phone out to scan as I got to the door and spotted him behind the counter. Said to myself, ‘I’ll just be nice.’ I scanned my card and said hi as he was putting a Band-aid on. I got nothing in return but a mumble. Waited a second and nicely said, “Hey, when you get a chance, could I do one of the hydro-massages—“ Didn’t even get a chance to fully finish my sentence before he gruffed, “Give me a second. I’m doing something here.” I replied, “You know what, man? You don’t have to be rude.” Walked away as he was like, “Oh, no! That’s not what I meant—” or some excuse. He’s always like this. When I left, no apology or anything.

If you’re looking for a location, Springfield and Broomall are 10x better and helpful.

It's like Daycare for High schoolers. They bring food and eat in the locker room. This is gross and unsanitary, then leave trash all over the floor.
Then they congregate around a couple a machines and clog them up for 20 - 30 min at a time and annoy paying members.
Other members may not know that they get to annoy you all summer long while you have to pay the full rate.
Your staff really needs to do better for the paying members or you may not have them around for much longer.
I know at least half a dozen people who have cancelled their paid memberships because of being annoyed or bullied by these kids.

They updated some equipment in Aston gym, they have a really nice Leg press that Marple does not have yet and Im disappointed in the Aston gym not replacing the old ab machine with the same kind. Ugh its always something they don’t have and I have to run to all different gyms because of this. Now no planet fitness has the ab machine and I will probably go someplace else when I find the gym that has everything that the old fashion real gyms had.

I have to say that the Marple Planet Fitness gym is the over all best one and its kept perfectly clean. The Aston gym bathrooms are terrible. Its all up to the Manager, thats how you know if there is a good manager.

This is a much better than average PF location. It's big with a lot of equipment, yet doesn't feel like machines are crowded together. I appreciate that they group like machines with like (my home PF doesnt do this). Nice big locker rooms with clean showers. Safe location with ample parking. Professional and courteous staff. Nice big Black Card lounge. Perfect experience.

I would never recommend this gym to anyone. If you need help in anyway they will not provide it. Want to speak to a manager? Good luck. Even if they are there they will refuse to speak to you. What a disgrace.

I called 3 days in a row to speak to someone regarding a billing issue. They assured me they would get back to me each day. Of course that never happened. The last time a called an employee admitted that a manager was there, but they would not speak to me. So much for customer service.

But, the 30 Minute Express workout area is constantly filled with people just parked at one or two machines rather than doing the circuit. I get tired of having to work around them, or ask them to move. They're quite often snippy about it. Do they not know the rest of the gym is FILLED with machines for their use?
(Two years later, having moved to using another gym)Swung back by this location last night, even with only 10 people in the gym, all the above still holds true.

Enormous gym. Tons of cardio equipment and strength training machines. They have basically everything you need to workout with except barbell bench press and barbell squat racks. Instead they have like 4 Smith racks to use. Tons of dumbbells but only a few ez curl bars. The hydro massage chairs are pretty nice as well as the traditional massage chairs but you need the black card to use those. Overall a pretty nice gym.

Not that friendly of a place went to go get a shower after working out three out of the four showers had mold in them brought it up to and an employee who seemed to not care spoke to a manager told me that they would take care of. It went back a couple days later mold was still in the same place seem like they don’t care about cleanliness.

I should have joined this place years ago. I always held back because of the checking account payment system. I solved that problem and joined. I used to belong to the Y. This is a much better gym IMO and 1/7 the cost. It is really clean. I rarely need to wait for a machine. The locker rooms are clean, don’t smell bad and there are no dudes hanging out naked just for fun. The lockers were already nice and they just replaced all of them. Any piece of damaged or broken equipment is replaced quickly. The staff are always cordial but mind their own business. The patrons keep to themselves. There is a decent amount of age, body type, gender, and racial diversity. It is not a place where you would feel out of place for exercising no matter who you are. Unless you are a cowboys fan. Then you may feel out of place. They have a dedicated stretch area with equipment. There are lots of TVs for cardio work. The app tells me how crowded it is before I go. It’s not perfect but it’s better than guessing. If I had one small complaint it would be that there are not enough incline benches. The manual excercise area is more compact than others and I have had to wait for a bench occasionally. But not long.

Decent for a planet fitness. They have the cardio machines that connect to Apple Watch. Replace broken or used equipment fairly quickly. Most members wipe down the equipment before moving on to the next. Could be a bit cleaner in bathrooms, showers, and equipment in general.

This gym uses a person to check in for VIP BLACK ROOM which we prefer than a computer than still a person at some other PL in the country

I think this is the best Planet Fitness in a 50 mile radius. I live in Delaware but work in PA, and I come here more than I go to my local center. They have a changing room for showering, a digital scale and the locker room is always clean.
