Good evening,
I’ve been a Planet Fitness member for a long time, and one of the biggest reasons I joined was because you were open 24/7, seven days a week. Over the years the hours have changed, and although I wasn’t happy about it, I stayed. First the weekend hours changed — I accepted that because the weekday hours stayed the same. Then my monthly fee went up, and again, I let it go because I really do love my gym.

But now the hours are being changed again, both on weekends and during the week. Opening at 7 AM on weekends and 5 AM on Mondays makes it extremely hard for people like me, who depend on early hours because of work and kids. For years I’ve been coming in at 6 AM on weekends, 4:30 AM on Mondays, and even 3 AM on the 4 days you are still open 24 hours.

What doesn’t feel fair is that my fee keeps going up, while the hours keep getting cut. I’m paying more money for less access. And the explanation that this is to “save money” doesn’t quite line up when I drive past and see all the TVs still on, the heat still running, and the computers still on. It seems like the only thing actually being cut is employee hours — not the costs that truly affect the bottom line.

I have children and a busy schedule, and the early hours were the main reason I chose Planet Fitness in the first place. At this point, the changes are affecting my ability to get to the gym at the times I need, and as a long-time member, that’s frustrating and disappointing.

I hope you reconsider the decision or at least recognize how these changes impact the many people who have been loyal to your gym for years.

Google said that they would be opening Thanksgiving day that their hours would be affected, but they were still labeled as opened. I showed up the doors were locked should have actual hours even if they are affected by the holiday on the site so that people don’t just drive there to show up and I have to go back home.

Kind of what you expect for a planet fitness I guess but still frustrating. Just went to wash my hands and there’s no soap in either of the soap dispensers. Nick is sitting at the front desk scrolling away. I don’t think I’ve seen him look away from his phone for the past hour. I got yelled at for having a gym bag with me. You can’t bring that with you apparently. Despite all of that, it’s cheap and the hours are good. They just got new equipment. It seems like quality stuff. The showers are terrible. Barely any pressure. Tried to shower here once but never again. I’ll be generous and give it a 3 out of 5.

Amazing equipment and has all the needs you could possibly need. It has machines for nearly every muscle and they are all new , there is also free weights for strength training if you'd like to increase your functionality! Welcoming to beginners and has a nice atmosphere with alot of cardio machines. Amazing gym for 15 bucks per month!

I am writing to share my recent experience at the Bensalem location regarding my One Pass membership and to express concerns about the level of customer service I received. As an existing Planet Fitness member, my One Pass membership became effective on August 1, 2025. During my visit to the Bensalem location, I spoke with the club manager, Chris, to clarify how the One Pass code should work. Chris informed me that the code should start with "A" followed by an 8-digit number. However, I was not satisfied with this explanation, as it conflicted with information I received at another Planet Fitness location.
At the second location, the manager confirmed that the One Pass code should start with "A" or "B" followed by a 9-digit number. She was able to locate my information in the system and explained that all that was needed to cancel my membership and enroll me as a new member was my name. This discrepancy in information between the two managers caused confusion and frustration.
Thankfully, my insurance provider was able to contact the Bensalem location directly, and the matter was resolved smoothly afterward. While I am relieved that the issue was ultimately addressed, I believe it is important to highlight the initial challenges I faced.
My concern is that as a club manager, Chris should have a clear understanding of how One Pass works and provide accurate information to customers. The lack of clarity and professionalism in his response left me feeling dissatisfied with the service at the Bensalem location.
Additionally, I felt that the level of customer service provided by Chris was subpar. While I can not definitively state his intentions, the interaction left me questioning whether his behavior was influenced by bias or lack of willingness to assist. I believe all customer service deserve respectful and professional treatment, regardless of their background. and I hope this feedback can be used to improve training and support for staff to ensure consistency across locations.

I always have a great experience at the Bensalem Planet Fitness, but and there is alway a but(lol), there are only 4 stair climber machines and one has been down for over a month and the other stair climber machine you cant select the manual button, the Bristol club has 9 stair climbers,please can you add more stair climbers.

To whom it may concern,

I wanted to bring to your attention an issue I observed during my visit to the gym yesterday. When I entered the bathroom area, it appeared that it had been recently hosed down, as the floor was quite wet.

However, when I went into the first stall, I noticed what looked like fecal stains on the toilet seat and water on the floor around it. I moved to the next stall, and while I was in there, I saw what appeared to be feces in the floor drain.

I understand that maintaining cleanliness can be challenging, but I wanted to make you aware of the situation so it can be addressed appropriately for the health and safety of all members.

For Many years, I have been going to this planet fitness and have always had the most amazing customer experience. Fifi and Chris are so polite and professional and make sure the gym is always tidy. Recently, there has been a guy named Eddie working there and it hasn't been as pleasant. Hes very snyde towards everyone and seems pretty lazy. A few of the people I go to the gym with also says the same thing so it's not just me who feels that way. I hate to complain but it should be better customer service than that.

So disappointed. Been a member a while. Always loved it. Then I suffered a medical emergency. I called to cancel my membership a month later not knowing when I could return. They told me they couldn’t take a call and had to have it in writing. My son dropped off a written request last September. I got messages of billing issues out of the blue and they had never cancelled it. I called and “Chris” said he’d call back because it was closed until the 5th,never did,then “Bianca” refused to talk to me on the phone & was just nasty in the background of the call ,I called the owner who did return a call I unfortunately missed & when I called back,left a message and never got a return call,then I have a sudden e mail canceling my membership as of that day. I’m still stuck with fees I was racking up unbeknownst to me which was all I wanted to discuss as I was planning on starting a membership again. This was just awful. The only nice person was “Nick” who tried to get Bianca to talk to me but she refused. The staff was always nice there and helpful,I don’t know what’s happened but be warned,you have a life threatening issue happen & have a membership here,don’t expect help with it.

Great to see the improvements after they went through renovation. It’s been a while since I’ve been to this gym but recently I went in and they went through a lot of changes. They added free barbell racks, functional trainer, and couple new equipments. Happy to see those improvements :)

I really like going to this gym in Bensalem the workers are very nice and they have a lot to offer one thing I am very disappointed in this I ride the stationary bicycle a lot and on three out of the four stationary bicycles there are no straps on the pedals I have been complaining about this since August and the problem has still not been addressed I know sometimes it takes a while to get parts in but 6 months is a little bit ridiculous please try to get this fixed

Highly disappointed with management. I did not feel I was helped and my problem solved. I felt unsupported and pushed aside. A simple request ignored, and in return I canceled my membership. If you work off hours like I do then don’t bother coming to this Planet Fitness.. The late evening employee is NEVER at the desk to turn on the tanning machines. .
I joined this gym for the 24 hour opening.

I can’t tell you the amount of times I stood at the desk here waiting for the employee to wake up from his sleep in car parking lot. In the past I was able to phone the gym from inside and wake him from is car nap but past few tiimes I guess he didn’t want to be bothered because he no longer took the phone to the vehicle with him to sleep.

Because this is a constant occurrence, I will be canceling my membership here in joining another gym where I can fully utilize my membership.

Well I started going there today & boy they must have new management it was so clean the front doors the gym floor was immaculate & it was very bright inside the Gym, it was great! Folks that are overly critical of a beginners gym that's $10/month will always be strange to me. That said, you have 24 ellipticals and 4 StairMasters. I've rarely seen more than 5 people on the ellipticals at any given time, and definitely never more than 10. More StairMasters, please! Other than that, always enjoy my time there. 👌🏻

The Bensalem location is back up to acceptable condition. Turns out the Manager was on vacation, and the staff dropped the ball. Even though my earlier review had some harsh tones, the call I received was polite and professional. I was promised that the issues I complained about were being addressed, and later that same day, things got back on track .

By far the worst gym I’ve been to.I’m a truck driver so I frequent almost all of the gyms in the Philadelphia and Bucks county area I thought South Philly was bad but this one got it beat! It was my first and last time coming to this one let’s just say toilets were splattered with feces,3 showers one missing a shower head one the water was just dripping out and the last one didn’t have any pressure.Dirty Q-tips in the dressing stalls the best thing in this one that others don’t have is the hooks and mirrors in the dressing stall but you could smell the stench coming from the toilets,Soap scum top to bottom in the showers….and the music system sucks the quality of this gym screams slumlord vibes.
