Was there on Thursday night, October 16th 2025. Came in at 8.40pm and i was declined access due to new equipment update. I'm a trucker all over the road stretching and showering this is what is necessary to keep myself going and delivering goods. I spoke to the lady upfront and asked for a 15 min shower and it still was declined. They had a note on the door that at 9pm they will be closed due to new equipment update. But I don't live here and I rely on my black card membership so I can have access when I need it all over the USA. IT was inconvenient and what does new equipment have to do with the shower?

I cannot find anything to complain about with the Bloom planet fitness. They get 5 stars for their cleanliness. spacious facilities. friendly staff. open 24 hours 5 days a week is a plus. Most important is that they have eleven stairclimbers . Enough for everybody. Locker rooms and the stretching rooms are much bigger than other planet fitness s I have been to. It is worth the 35 minute drive to this exceptional gym !!!!!

Gym supposed to close at 7pm on a Saturday. Ran in rain just for gym to be locked by 6:35. This is seriously bull crap, false advertising and lying to members. There is plenty to do in a gym in 20 minutes. The upper management here must discipline staff or they are just as bad. Gyms should not close at 7pm on weekends! Open 13 hours on weekends is BS. Never go here if you can avoid it. Upper management is likely stingy and doesn't want to properly staff or train employees. Let's see change @PF!

Current staff is attentive and super nice! The facility is typically clean but does seem to be starting to go down hill in some respects. It seems like there are more buckets and tarps for leaks every day. It gives the overall impression that the management/owner doesn’t care to actually fix things as long as people are still paying to come in. Little things like missing head rests on the hydromassage chairs seem trivial but make them uncomfortable to sit in and shows that no one cares to maintain even small inexpensive things. With planet fitness overall is it frustrating that hours of operation were reduced during Covid while prices stayed the same. Now that the things have gotten back to relatively normal and increased staffing could be expected the hours of operation have not been brought back to 24/7. This makes it difficult for some to get in their routine work outs on weekends that they have work or other

Update 2/19/25: even more leaks and buckets around with the recent rain and snow. Now above the total body enhancement booth it looks like there is mold starting to form on the walls.

Truck driver here. This location is a good one. Good showers, good standard equipment, cold water fountain. Most importantly I didn’t get hassled about parking which is always the biggest concern, thanks for allowing us truckers to get a shower, some exercise, and not be up right about the parking. Staying away from the truck stops is always my goal

Cons: turning into a lunk haven. The male and female staff here Monday night are too busy socializing with a guy at the desk and not watching the floor. Grunting and slamming weights and lots of peoples bags on the floor.more and more people that fit the link profile. I don’t see these two staff ever clean or refill anything. You have clear policies on the bags and behavior but they don’t correct any of it. The place seems to take a turn for the worse over the summer with the teen program. I hope during the daytime it’s different

I normally don't write these, but I just read an article on Newsweek about a lady, Tiffany, 30, @theunapologetictiff, was also felt violated when a male employee invaded the privacy of the womens restroom. The same thing happened to my wife at this club on 6-30-24 when the guy, I believe his name was Fred did that to my wife. I was shocked and angered he did that and addressed the matter to him immediately. He then went on the offensive and as it being closing time and my wife and I were exiting the club he followed behind us being rather aggressive acting. He told us to get out and that we were trying to do a scam and was very rude and threatening. This behavior has to change and stop nationwide at all clubs and I feel Planet Fitness needs to make it right to it's customers and apologize.

It's ridiculous the reviews I'm reading and the issues people are complaining about. If someone is on a machine politely ask how many sets they have left or if you can jump in with them. And if $50 is hurting you for canceling a membership then maybe you should save your money and workout at home🤷🏾‍♂️ I absolutely love this PF! I'm a truck driver and I can park outside and get a workout in without worrying about being towed...... awesome!

I will say, that some of the staff are nice, and welcoming, others won't even make eye contact when you ask them how they are doing, to try and be kind. The place seems clean(I only use treadmills & stairs). Another thing to look out for...the members..it's the typical toxic gym culture that comes with a college town, so you won't be making any friends here, unfortunately. I work in customer service so I'm very friendly, open-minded, and polite. not many members here are at all friendly, talkative or kind, unfortunately. It works if you're just going once or twice a week though..

I definitely love this gym but in comparison to other planet fitness’s I’ve been to, definitely could be better. Even reading some reviews I can definitely agree that the staff here are a bit strange. They definitely have their favorites and they greet them very well. Others, being myself, get ignored but also stared at especially by the tall blonde staff guy. There has been multiple times where I look up and he is just staring dead at me as he walks past. One would think he would at least talk if he was staring so long. Now I know I don’t HAVE to be greeted and talked to but if I’m there every single day for the past three months, I would assume they would atleast like to know my name. I’m a beyond regular and started going there in January, lost 40lbs just with eating right and consistency. Yet, they still don’t know who I am nor seem to care. Again, I don’t really care but I may have just been blessed with other gyms that as you start showing your face more and more, they wanna get to know you. Essentially basic business strategy 101 but then again, I only pay $10 a month so I cannot truly complain since I’m getting everything I have so far vs paying at a higher caliber gym that also wanna get to know their clients. Even a simple hi or “hey I’ve seen you come here a lot, how’s your workouts been going?” And it’s not like it’s super busy when they all stand at the desk just talking to each other. The gym manager ( I’m assuming) is the only one that constantly walks the gym and smiles at everyone. This definitely should be a learned behavior amongst staff. And for the love of God, stop staring at people and maybe get to know those you stare at. That’s it, still going to continue to come!

Basically the only gym nearby so as my only option it’s ok but it’s too close to the college and always packed with students that act like it’s more of a social hour than time you work out. They sit on machines in groups just talking or they’re on their phones. I have to wait forever to use a machine and a lot of machines end up broken because guys keep slamming weights. Also, been seeing men without shirts and women wearing only a bra and shorts, so that’s a little weird. Feels unsanitary. They do have a good variety of equipment to use and membership is affordable though.

Planet fitness is no longer a joke like it was when it first started. It is a serious gym.
The problem is the hours. I understand in some rural areas they may feel the need to close at 9:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. But in big city areas this becomes an issue especially for those who work in emergency services, and in hospitals. Because a lot of us who work in these fields have to work out between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. . So it would be better if the planet fitness closed at midnight on Fridays and Saturday nights instead of 9:00 p.m. .
Otherwise, the gym has good equipment, a clean environment, clean locker rooms, and I have yet to see a piece of equipment that was not in good working order.

I've been going to this planet fitness for over 3 years, I've never really worked with a trainer then I joined with Alex, He was absolutely amazing and always strived to make sure I went above and beyond, In April of 2021 I was diagnosed with stage 2A breast cancer, During my chemotherapy and radiation I could not do my normal workout. Alex took the time to create a plan that worked for me. I've just recently got married and Alex took the time with me to make sure I was ready to fit my wedding dress. I truly appreciate Alex and the time he spent to help me with my goals.

I checked out planet fitness for my family and myself, I decided to use bloom health and fitness because my son wasn't old enough to use PF. I it was, however more convenient for my wife to sign up with PF because of the location, big mistake. She can't even work out because everyone sits around, playing on their phones. Today, she couldn't even do the 30 minute circuit because of people just sitting on the machines looking at their phones. That was ALL they were doing. At least when someone does this at bloom health and fitness, I can politely ask them if I can use the equipment and they don't feel "judged" and throw a tantrum, unlike planet fitness. No way I would ever use this place.

I got a membership but after working here for a mere 2 hours. I can't look at it the same way again.
The assistant manager was so degrading to women along with his male employee that I walked off the job after hearing them talking about "how they would do this to her", "how thick she is" blah blah blah. It's supposed to be judgement free, but they're defiently saying stuff loud enough for other employees to hear.
The gym itself is okay but clean your equipment beforehand and they have had numerous occasions where their parking lot was littered with garbage and their trash cans were overflowing.
I plan to cancel my membership after never using it and seeking out a local gym where I'm actually a name and a human being with emotions and feelings that are respected.

I don’t normally write bad reviews but I wanted to let others know about this experience I’ve had here this summer. Guy who was at front desk which I will mention a name ALEX was so rude!! There was a guy who came in before me who trying to start a membership there and he was giving the guy such a hard time for absolutely no reason. So unfriendly and SO BOTHERED by any simple question asked by the guy. I got so aggravated watching I wanted to walk right out but instead waited to ask a question as well to see the answer I would get. I as a white man was treated much more respect .. how disgusting. Who would want to be surrounded by disrespectful workers just to workout? So uncomfortable, especially for the black community. I left and cancelled my membership right away.

This facility does not socially distance. A lot of students from the college come in without masks. They crowd near other people's machines and workout spaces chatting. I am high risk and my doctor told me exercising my heart would be good for me. I do not feel safe with the younger people that come here, and the crowds they form around machines hanging out.
