Only been here once. When getting my license renewal, paid for a day pass... Never again, clean gym with good equipment, I'll give it that so it doesn't deserve one star, but the general manager is something else, chasing another member down into the locker room for stupid stuff like your picture isn't in the system "excuse me, people are changing in here, that can be handled outside the locker room" the way she was yelling at her employee behind the desk...this lady did not create a welcome friendly environment for my weight loss journey... When the DMV was the more pleasant experience of that trip to bridgeville you know there's something wrong

I used to prefer this location despite it being farther away from me two others (I even made it my home location). But a couple of issues that seem to repeatedly keep popping up have had me seriously considering going elsewhere over the past year.

For instance: over the past few years, they've really started neglecting the upkeep on their equipment. While they've finally done a refresh where they've added a bunch of newer stuff, they still have most of the older weight lifting equipment, which has seriously seen better days...and that's not even counting the other amenities which have definitely seen better days (and are also constantly breaking).

Even with all of that, it might still be manageable, if they were still an actual 24/7 gym that was open on the weekends. I mean, for the hours during the week that they are open, there's definitely a rush which makes it harder to use some of the equipment in a timely manner (without having to queue anyway).

Something has changed with ownership or management for the worse. Cleaning stations are not kept stocked, workers just stand around, just dirty. They also got rid of the tootsie rolls. They say is corporate but others gyms have them.

This location recently upgraded equipment. There is now 1/2 the cardio equipment, they moved the 30 minutes work out to the main floor which defeats the purpose of the room, and spread other equipment out more all to look bigger. At 615 a.m. I got the last of 11 ellipticals this morning, so I can only imagine the days I come in the afternoon or in the evening.

I’m a Black Card member at Planet Fitness, and while traveling for work in Pennsylvania, I tried to maintain my gym routine. Unfortunately, I was stopped from working out because I had exceeded my limit for out-of-town visits. I was told I’d have to either change my home gym or pay an extra fee. In this economy, it just feels unnecessary to enforce extra fees, especially when I’m making a real effort to stay consistent. I drive 20 minutes each way to get to this gym, which takes a big chunk of my already busy day. I wish the experience had been more flexible and understanding

Update: 2 months later and they still haven't canceled my membership. They made me write a letter (literally, a paper letter snail mailed) and they still keep charging me. Keep an eye on your bank account. Seems like a scam to perpetually receive payments for services NOT received. Very Scam-like. Beware: they make it nearly impossible to cancel your membership. Overall this location has a weird setup that really doesn't have enough treadmills for peak times. Not sure why there are so many elipticals that I've never seen fully utilized. They have very limited free weights (hard to get a bench even during non-peak times), and they have no bar racks other than those horrible Smith machines.

This is a clean gym. I go during off hours. I'm a night owl. I don't know what it's like at its peak but it's very comfortable place to be at any time I've ever been there. The staff is nice and kind and cordial and to the point. Manager, Nick, will talk to you in the morning if you have any questions about billing, etc. He's on his game.

The GM was extremely rude. I went to tan for 5 minutes, but am a black card member at another PF that is under another management group. Without boring you with the details, I must tell you to stay away from her if you have to use this location. What amazed me most was that she basically berated me in front of a new employee. Clearly this woman is unhappy at her job, and it was unloaded on me.

My wife and I became first-time customers at the Crafton location, paying $49 each for the annual service fee. After two visits, we noticed that the Bridgeville location was closer to our home, so we asked to have our accounts transferred there. In May, I submitted a request to freeze both of our accounts until mid-September, and they confirmed it was processed. However, they kept charging us both $15 monthly, and in July, they charged my account another $49 fee, which was supposed to be charged only once a year.

When I went to the Bridgeville location with my concerns, the staff said it wasn’t their issue and sent me back to Crafton. When I went there, they showed me their records and said we didn’t have active accounts with them. I went back to Bridgeville asking to cancel both of our accounts, and a different employee admitted there was some discrepancy in the system. He assured me that he had canceled both mine and my wife's accounts, gave me contact info for their contractor, ABC Financial, and assured me that all the mistakenly charged amounts would be refunded.

When I contacted ABC Financial, I received a response: "Your membership has been canceled. There are no further payments due. I apologize, but we are unable to waive or refund any scheduled annual fee payments." And one more later: "Please contact your club for the refund of your membership. This is something that ABC cannot assist you with, as we do not handle refunds and waiving for your club".

We’ve since moved to another state, and now my wife has a new $15 charge from Planet Fitness on her bank statement.

This planet fitness location is nice but not without its issues. I'm shocked by how many people aren't wiping down machines after using them. Staff should be on the lookout for this behavior. I hate walking up to some exercise machine to find the sweaty person before me or an employee didn't disinfect it. Lastly, I've gotten on machines just to find out they're broken. When I brought this up to staff, they didn't make an effort to put a sign up or to fix it. Makes an otherwise nice location, just average.

Brandy greeted me as I entered and through my time there, I interacted with her a few times for different things and she was super helpful and made me feel super welcome. I’m so appreciative of her.
Maybe I lucked out and got deep clean day, but this was one of the cleanest Planet Fitness I’ve been to across the U.S. and Brandy was cleaning the showers, as well as the whole area and was really cleaning, not just a quick nothing clean.
Showers are separate from the private change rooms. So no private space just outside your shower curtain, like some PF’s have…

I have not been back because of the looming dust problem on the tvs, rafters, and anywhere above 6 feet on any machine in over a month. It's over an inch thick and I have asmtha as is..I go there to get healthy. Not breath in people's hair follicles that lay on these surfaces/dust. It needs to be cleaned and I am a loyal member for years however this is an issue. The owner replied on here and said talk to the staff. No! YOU do more, you do not pay them to get on ladders and/or get up to those heights. I will clean it for you. It needs done bi annually. Take care of us as we take care of you! Nuff said. The girl who helped me sign up (sadly I forgot to get her name, she had blonde hair pulled up in a ponytail) was really sweet and had a great upbeat attitude. Made the whole process super simple (Ive been a member multiple times before& recently switched from LA back to planet) and she was making sure I saved money by signing up for the black card because I don't live in the area and mentioned I'd be going to multiple locations. The gym is also kept clean, everyone seems friendly, there's a good variety of machines. They seem a bit outdated compared to the other PF I go to but it's still perfectly good equipment so I'm not complaining.

Clean gym with mostly friendly staff. I gave 3 stars for two reasons.
-some machines have been broken for months. I know they are trying to get someone to repair them, but it's been too long in my opinion.
-somewhat of a free-for-all when it comes to etiquette. There aren't really any rules, or at least none are enforced. No dress code, people take bags onto floor, open toed shoes, etc. People also will take up multiple benches at a time, even when they aren't using them.

Overall not a terrible PF, but I've been to much better.

I highly recommend the black card access. It gives you the option to their amenities. It also gives you the opportunity to bring a friend to the fitness club which is an excellent benefit.

My personal favorite It the Total Body Enhancement. It is good for healing skin damage, and scars so I have read without the side effects of ultra violet light.

The workout options are fantastic.
It is kept clean, and it really is a judgements free zone!

Rude unprofessional one of the men staff said bye to a person leaving the gym because the person had their headphones in their ears they didn’t hear the staff member so the 2 staff members laughed at this person and made rude comment. Living in Brookline, the closest gym to me would be Castle Shannon, however my son Jordan is the AGM at the Bridgeville location and ever since he gave me my tour there I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

The Bridgeville PF is a large club with newer equipment and whenever I have visited is always noticeably clean. There are always team members disinfecting equipment, locker rooms, tanning rooms, etc.

I also love seeing my son interact with the members. He’s seemed to have built quite the rapport with the members and I think it’s great for the public to be greeted with a personality like his- it really sets the tone for your day!

Im surprised no one has mentioned the machines. This location has the oldest versions of the planet fitness machines available. Leg press, calf extension etc all have like a piece of sheet metal you put your feet on. Ive been going to the west mifflin location since 2018 but finally decided to switch to this location because its closer to where I live in Upper St Clair, and the west mifflin location has had the newest machines available since 2018! And not to mention they actually just recently upgraded all elipticals, stair steppers, treadmills and bikes again. I was surprised coming here how old the machines were and I definitely notice a difference in the quality of my workout when I come here. On all leg machines either the track is super tough, the chord is either loose or stuck so you have to increase or decrease the weight youre used to, or the chair is loose and wobbles and clicks because of their age. All of the leg, ab, and arm machines are generally harder to use. There is usually lots more men than women and if youre coming here strictly for weights or cardio youll probably like it. Given that this is one of the smaller locations, I think it would help to have the newest machines so that they dont break as much and only leave one up for use. This location still uses a clipboard to keep track of black card services too which I dont mind but im sure is a little less convenient when busy. Staff has been friendly and helpful, and black card area is always stocked and clean. Same with womens bathroom and locker room. I hope to come back when they get up to pace with the others but for now ill stick to the washington location
