A lot of positives about this place. Management seems to care and keep this place going. They keep the front desk well staffed and the employees are attentive - when the manager is there. During the week during the day the place is clean and works well.

A few negatives.

1. The music is too loud. Everyone has earphones or earbuds in and you don’t need the music blasting. Please lower the volume.

2. The locker room can be dangerous the floors were wet and I slipped by the sink. Please install matts by the sinks.

3. Employees on the weekend spend too much time on their phones and ignore guests and don’t bother to properly maintain the locker rooms.

It’s irritating that this is the only planet fitness who closes the massages chairs down 30 min before closing. For the people who need it after their workout and can’t use it. Springfield planet fitness you can get
on until 15 min before closing. They have 1 ab machine that goes forward and it’s been broke for over a month.

I've been coming to this gym for a few years now, and recently they upgraded the equipment and the layout, which I'm really liking. I always enjoy my workouts, and I find the gym clean and well-maintained. The staff is always friendly, and I find it to be a good atmosphere for a workout. Very happy with this gym!

I love this planet fitness! Not only does it have the best equipment, but the employees are incredible. Carleton is very helpful, as is the manager, Ricky. I always feel so welcome and never judged. If I need help with equipment, they're always willing to assist. I never see them sit still. They're always cleaning and making sure everything's operating efficiently. This is my favorite planet fitness!

I used to exercise here. Ashley this is an update: I lost over 167 lb between here and LA fitness. However the clientele started to slip into really disgusting types of people. I ended my association when far too many women use the toilets and they DON'T FLUSH THEIR 💩.

It's such a personal and such an embarrassing and humiliating thing to have to talk about let alone bring up with the managers at the time. But another reason I did not want to rejoin it's because planet fitness thinks they have the right to ask you for your social security number and have you link your bank account or give them your bank account number so that they can get payment every month that's not necessary when you use your debit card they take it out and that's all they really need they're asking for far too many pleasures that they have no right to ask for. A few months later somebody told me that they had a problem when they were charged excessive amounts on their credit card. All I could do was smile and say I told you so. If you're stupid enough to give somebody your social security number to join a health spa and give somebody access to your account for the monthly payments and your social security information and your information of your bank accounts then you deserve what you get.

My usual planet fitness is temporarily closed because of a plumbing issue and I decided to come here.This PF is awesome! The equipment is way different from mine but I caught on rather quickly. Great gym located just past the Home Depot. Plenty of parking available. Equipment is plentiful and kept clean. I visit here three times a week. Conrad, Mike and Melissa are extremely friendly. Even the other gym members are friendly to each other.

One of the best planet fitnesses I’ve ever been at. A ton more lively than my normal one. All machines clean and working. Bathroom and change areas immaculate. Front desk immaculate. Saw random guy doing some chest lifts I had never seen and talked him up and he was more than helpful and nice enough to demo the lift for me. See champagnes. Place was jumping at 630am. Really a great gym and the staff keep it insanely clean and all machines working and people getting it in.

Today I went on the stair-master and because of how clumsy I am I accidentally dropped my AirPod case in the stair-master. Michael was so kind and he literally took almost the entire machine apart. I felt really bad that he had to do all of that. He really cared and I ended up getting my case back. The people here are really amazing. Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with at any store. Canceled membership years ago continued to keep billing my checking account within the last 20 days. I’ve called five times leaving five messages with zero callbacks. The guy answers. The phone is very polite keeps making all the excuses for his manager and he or she just never calls back. They just keep taking my money. I have to close my entire checking account in order to stop them. this could be handled so much easier and no one does anything.

The facility at the Clifton Heights location is very large, very clean and very orderly. The staff is very helpful and patient. The ladies Locker room and bathrooms were very clean and neat. There was plenty of paper towels and cleaning spray to clean the machines after use and the others using the facility were cleaning the machines as they finished their workout. It’s got a large well lit parking lot and The Black card area is perfect!

This is my home gym where I started my membership in 2014. On 11/24 when I checked in I was told by the supervisor not to use someone else's account next time I work out. I found this ironic being as though I was a black card member for almost 10 years. I asked him to fix my account but Carlton refused to and proceeded to ask me to leave even though I showed evidence of the account being mines (correct spelling on ss card, drivers license, Bank statements.) Even though I proceeded to show evidence Carlton proceeded to tell me to leave and that he would call the cops. A police report was made and police told me that Carlton advised me that I am not allowed in this location anymore. I feel he exaggerated the encounter to avoid accountability for his and PF's negligence. The result was me being humiliated and banned from this location after 10 yrs of loyalty.

Carlton called the police on my friend. She called me hysterical. Saying a staff member was asking her to leave because according to him, the account wasn't hers. Would accept no proof, would hear nothing. He called the police of my lesbian friend of color. She gave the cops the proof however Carlton had already told them she was not longer allowed at this planet fitness. Seems someone is fraudulently using my friends account. This is what Carlton should have been worried about. I was on the phone the whole time. It's sad it seems we're going back in time as I speak.

I travel and frequent PF. This is one of the cleanest well equipped facilities! My only complaint is it took awhile for the hot water and the water pressure in the shower was very low. But the rest was so amazing it made up for it! Very clean, plenty of equipment and everyone was polite!

I sent a message in the beginning out the month to cancel my membership since i broke my ankle. I called in today to cancel since my payments due this week and regardless they said its not their issue i broke my ankle, they will be charging me the money for my account. Worse part is since i cant use it neither can my husband so they are stealing money from my account. They refused to cancel my payment. I joined and got ringworm really bad the first week.
Be sure to clean the surfaces with an outside cleaning solution before using machines. It also sucks that a 24hour gym isn’t opened 24 hours. The weekend is when people want to workout the most. Closing at 9 is an inconvenience. Make Drexel hill your home gym.

Gym is usually clean but not enough equipment for the amount of members they have.. unless u only want to use the tread mill or bike don’t waste your time.. they only have 4 smith machines & 2 cable machines that are ALWAYS occupied people don’t even have enough courtesy to get their work out in & go they spend an hour plus on these machines.. today there were barely any weights left.. unfortunately I’m going to start looking for a new gym

I have been coming here since 2014. Staff is friendly and helpful. Place is extremely clean. Bathrooms are always well maintained with cleanliness, toilet paper, etc. Only one time I saw a naked woman in dressing area, LOL!! Machines are well maintained in a timely manner if they should become inoperable. Staff cleans every single machine & floors. I only wish they had one more machine that resembles an elliptical but you sit down on it. Only ONE in the entire gym and only ONE abdominal crunch machine. We could also be interested in an abdominal plus machine. We need a few more! The other amenities are the massage chair, massage bed, tanning bed and red light therapy are awesome!
People are friendly! I actually have what I call a gym family! It's so nice to meet people who have the same interests as you as far as exercising. I have been going there for 10 years now and not one time has the lunk alarm gone off. I gave the Clifton Heights a four star rating only because of it needing a few more machines. Also, my grading of four star is because of the free membership given to teenagers to keep them off the streets and that is okay, BUT they hog machines with four or five kids at a time and they are on their phones. It's only a few months in the summer. Other then what is written I am happy with my membership.

I signed up at this planet fitness a few months ago, the service and help I received while signing up was great. Customer service is A+. The facility is what is expected with the spacing, machines etc... It is annoying with ALL PF locations to find people sitting on machines and scrolling on their phones either leisurely or trying to figure out their workout. I decided to answer the survey and voice a few concerns, only one of which the staff can address hands on and I received a call back by the end of the night regarding those concerns. Jillian was very kind and honest about things.
