Worked out at this Planet Fitness while visiting the area ( Google keeps changing my address on reviews...I'm the dude from Maryland ). Price is great and honestly I was very impressed with the customer service, ample and seemingly new equipment, cleanliness and hours. Would be awesome if there were a boxing gym and sauna included but I really think Planet Fitness, especially this location is a good business and makes a healthy lifestyle accessible to anyone whose not loaded with cash.

I came as a guest on 10/28 around the evening and when I was greeted there by the personal trainer I had seen a tattoo on her forehead and asked her what it meant. She told me it was a crown of thorns that Jesus wore. I don’t mean to be a Karen but as a religious person I don’t appreciate this kind of thing especially for a place that advertises as “judgment free” it’s very offensive agaisnt religious groups who believe in Christ and also ones who don’t. I fully support expressing your beliefs but to have someone like this representing as your fitness advisor it makes it very hard to approach her with the right idea without thinking something of it. I hope you take my review into consideration and maybe not terminate the employee but maybe have someone else be the “fitness instructor” of the building because if you asked me to go there I wouldn’t advise it especially to a religious group. Besides all of the factors in that the club was very beautiful one of the cleanest I have ever been to and also very easy to navigate. It is also the first one to have handicapped parking which was also very nice since it was very crowded when I arrived.

I traveled to NEPA and needed a workout. The staff here was amazing ! Natasha, Hannah, Sara and Jess are top notch at their jobs, making me feel welcome and like it was my home gym. I highly recommend stopping by. They keep the gym extremely clean and with plenty of room and equipment to fit any gym mode in need

Well, I’ve been coming to this Planet Fitness for a short time, and I love it. It’s comfortable, it has all the machines that a normal person like me needs (please don’t ask me to become a bodybuilder 😂). The staff is very respectful and attentive, and overall, the people who come here are pretty decent. I give it a 10 out of 10. If you’re thinking of signing up, I totally recommend it. It’s a good, accessible gym — always Kingston, never Wilkes-Barre. 😏🏋️‍♂️

Never crowded, it seems very clean, updated equipment and massage chairs. On the massage chair they give you 11 minutes so you can figure out what to do and then you can have your full 10 minutes, that's a nice touch! Free Wi-Fi and great location.
The staff is always friendly and they're not preoccupied with complaining conversations or on their phones.

I started going to this Planet Fitness, and I actually like going here. on the first day, I spoke with the person they said was the trainer. I told him, "I know nothing about working out, but I would like to lose my belly and improve my fitness in other areas." He then told me the bike would help and nothing else. Keep in mind, I've never been to a gym before and didn't know what to do, so I felt a bit discouraged. I youtube stuff and look up workouts to Do since the trainer was not helpful at all I do have other gyms nearby, but I'm used to this one, and it took a lot of courage for me to come here on my own. 😭

Bros acting like pf is my first choice of gym. Late night my gym is closed just trying to get a day pass but I need a id. Keep in mind I went there as a 15 year old without any problems. Same guy that denied my fathers black card guest also said I couldn’t where crocs when I had a membership. All I wanted to do was hit a quick lift w my homeboy. Someone needs to humble there “boss”.😭 I’ve went to one good pf and lemme tell ya edwardsville is not one of them.

I recently moved to the area and tried out the PF in Kingston. I was trying to decide to stay with Planet Fitness or join another club but after a handful of visits, this is NOT the place for me. It is neither friendly nor accomodating. Recently, I came to work out and was IN the building WORKING OUT when my adult and autistic son came in to use his guest pass. I had screenshot it for him so he could come work out and I could continue working out. They would NOT admit him even though he told them I was there and I waved at him but I was told I had to stop working out - I was on the treadmill and had a goal - to come up front and acknowledge I was in the building. I'm moving on. Because of this experience, PF is no longer for me!

I've generally always had a feel good experience at Planet Fitness, Kingston. The format of the machines are good or the layout of the gym is practical. I would say that what may separate Planet Fitness (PF) as compared to a gym like the Kingston Rec or Odyssey Fitness center - in a pro sense is the massage chairs, hydro and the full body enhancement alongside the days that PF is open 24 hrs.! Con - not open on weekends 24 hrs. as well as other gyms offering items or different sections such as a swimming pool, Sauna, track, basketball courts, tennis or racquetball or maybe an alternative lifting area catering to strong man or more of an open area for classes such as yoga, biking, or HIIT for example. All in all considering cost you can't beat it.

Kicking off the New Year with a spectacular planet fitness team! This facility is notably one of the cleanest, personable, and comfortable locations in the NEPA area. The staff that has formed gets more professional and dynamic as this planet fitness team grows. It's nice to see employees who treat each other like friends and also work diligently. Their treatment of the planet fitness guests, let alone the facility they must tend to, is above and beyond. Natasha continues to be an admirable leader to all in her abilities to greet guests like family and remember 99% of the MANY guests names that come through. She doesn't miss a single "good day," or "see you later." Even as guests test her patience she always provides top notch assistance, and seamlessly keeps her professional composure. With the New Years guests arriving there's no doubt she will continue to give each guest the most welcoming planet fitness experience. Also admirable is fellow employees, manager Jessica's, and trainer Isaiah's abilities to give guests their greetings and assistance through conversation, or making sure guests are accommodated accordingly. The facility remains to have a fresh look thanks Jessica's leadership and to the staff's noticeable efforts and abilities to keep up with the boundless list of cleaning assignments. Hardly ever do broken machines remain under repair thanks to the fast turn around period provided by the maintenance team. Any messes, guest conflicts or even bathroom restocking are always tended to without missing a beat. A guest to planet fitness couldn't be luckier to have this facility to attend as it is truly a powerhouse for motivation and inspiration amongst the members, and staff. For those looking for a gym to get started at for their New Years resolution, Planet Fitness in the Gateway of Edwardsville will be your gym to call home.

Planet Fitness is a good place to exercise. There are many nice a d attractive amenities. But PF causes as many issues as it solves. They keep showers available which attracts people who live in their vehicles. It's strange. These folks are employed but stay and live daily in their vehicles. It's one thing if you are an OTR trucker but there are plenty of regular folks doing this. It's not a slight against Planet Fitness but it is an odd phenomenon.

Always had a great experience here. One staff member will go out of their way to single me out all of a sudden for no reason. Most of the staff are super nice. One staff member can ruin a great experience. I'm a good person. It's definitely a judgemental zone if you are the wrong type of person. I keep my head down, I bother no one. It's probably more this staff member than the gym itself. Where do I go now? All the other staff is great. Really enjoyed it here just have to wait this person out. Maybe I'll join crunch for a few months.
