This is by far my favorite Planet Fitness. The crew that works here is so easy going and friendly. I don't need to worry about the horrors stories you hear about this place being so judgemental here. The atmosphere is great. The community is great. It's the perfect place for all levels. I've never once felt uncomfortable here and I've grown to love it!

I wanted to try the Hermitage location for the first time this morning since it opens at 6 AM on Saturdays. By 6:30 there was a crowd of people waiting outside, but no employees were anywhere to be found. Not a great first impression, and pretty disappointing. Hopefully there’s a reasonable explanation, but it definitely wasn’t the experience I expected.

It's a nice place to work out. They have everything imaginable there to use. I just went back after about a year of not going. They have a trainer on staff now who is setting up a workout plan for me, and I'm excited to get started again. I'm happy to see they added a trainer to their staff!

A few customers and I have been waiting at the desk for 20 minutes and no one has come to the desk not sure what’s going on here this is so frustrating and uncalled for so update I was there for a hour that day and lady came finally, and said nobody reported for their shift that’s why nobody was at the desk

Edit update: I increased to 3 stars because the manager actually greeted me today. And the bathrooms were finally cleaned. It’s still disappointing that I had to resort to a Google review to get a clean bathroom. But I will take it. Hopefully it keeps improving.

I am highly disappointed. I suffered for 2 months with cold showers they finally got that fixed and now the place is so dirty. The showers look like they never get touched and today when I went to shower so I could head to work, I quickly changed my mind when I found all kind of trash all over the floors and the shower was so slimy. I ended up being late to work because I had to go back home to shower. Looks like I need to find a new gym to attend. I guess this place is just going down hill. The manager is constantly on her phone and doesn’t acknowledge people coming or going. And I’ve complained to her several times about the cleanliness but I guess that doesn’t matter to her. So disappointed.

Something needs to be done about the dirty bathrooms. The showers have not been cleaned in days, close to a week now. I’ve spoke to multiple workers about it and nothing is being done. I’ve spoke to the managers for months about the issue and still nothing. I enjoy going to the gym but it might be time to switch to something else if this continues to be an issue.

I live full time in a skoolie while traveling the country, planet fitness is my go to for a long hot steamy shower that isn’t limited by my tank size and fuel levels. This review is my personal comparison having been to tons of other planet fitness locations and based entirely on the quality of the locker room and shower facilities.

This planet fitness was cleaner than most. It has scalding hot water which is awesome and boasts fully tiled showers that are extra large. The lockers show signs of age but otherwise this is a good one. It was much welcomed after a string of gnarly ones through New England

This place USED to be great. Management changed. Seems the new manager is always on her phone, never greets anyone. I’ve never seen her off her phone actually. The place is filthy. Toilet paper all over the bathroom, it’s not clean. Crazy how a change in management can make a place go downhill so fast in such a short time. Looks like the Buhl Club will be gaining a lot of new customers if changes aren’t made here. Lots of unhappy members.

I receive excellent customer service from Johnny Roger at this location time and time again! He always answers questions with a smiling face and brightens my day with a simple greeting upon entry.

I’m consistently impressed with the hard work the staff puts in to give everyone a positive, clean environment to exercise in. This is absolutely my favorite Planet Fitness location I’ve visited this far, props to the staff + management!

I've tried to be patient & understanding but this gym is a joke. Had to come in 3 separate times in person to cancel my membership, and they still billed me 4 months past when I canceled. Their customer service is nonexistent and they will give you the go around and refuse to cancel your membership. Please spend your money somewhere else if you can afford to.

I recommend getting the planet fitness black card. There are several planet fitness is in the surrounding area, Austintown, Butler, Newcastle. Niles, Boardman… take your pic!
With the black card you can choose any planet fitness worldwide. You can bring guests, use the tanning bed, use the massage chairs and you get 50% off of drinks.
The gyms are clean with plenty of equipment and free weights. The lockers are in good condition, and the toilets and showers are maintained.
Bring your headphones plug them into the machines, and there are several televisions you can choose from through Planet Fitness provided Wi-Fi.
Do not forget to take your lock to lock the locker while you use a free locker during your time of visit. When you leave, don’t forget to take everything with you from the locker.
Associates are helpful and very friendly. So don’t worry if you want to joint and need help because you don’t know how to use a piece of equipment, they will come and show you, just ask!

Gym is great except for the young kid who only works on the weekend (Sunday mornings) but comes in everyday acting like a child and yelling the whole evening. He needs to learn to behave properly, screaming and “fake fighting” is not how you behave while people are trying to workout.

3 stars because the hours are HORRIBLE on weekends, when I actually want them to be the same. Several times it hits me I can't go past 7 pm, and has messed up my day...boo. 9 or 11 would be better.
