Wow wow WOW!

Two guest stars were at this PF the other week: Morgan and Katrina. They're Prime Club Managers of the wildly successful North Huntington and Mount Pleasant gyms.

They manage by encouraging both their gym members and employees. This gives everyone great morale and it isn't just a show.

The gym is super clean.

They fix stuff quick when you tell em.

People are happy here.

It's just a gym thing, but the community cheers more for the out of shape people tryin than those who been here a few years and became trucking with muscle. And anyone can become a muscle truck just putting in an hour or two a day...

It's easy to come in and put exercise when you realizes it calms your mind.

Mind and body have a connection.

Know you're loved at these PF. It's more than just a gym here is SW PA, Katrina, Morgan, John Carone, they'll all make you feel super welcome so you wanna keep coming back.

The employees were nice but the whole vibe is off in this gym. As soon as we walked in people just stared at us even after we started working out. It was uncomfortable being there. We now drive past and go to Greensburg where it feels more welcoming.

5 Stars – Excellent Gym Experience!

This Planet Fitness location is absolutely top notch. The facility is incredibly clean and well maintained, which immediately makes for a comfortable and inviting workout environment. One of the standout features is the sheer amount and variety of equipment available, whether you’re into cardio, strength training, or just want to stretch and cool down, there’s always something open and ready to use.

The staff here are friendly, approachable, and always willing to help or answer questions, creating a supportive and judgment free atmosphere that really sets Planet Fitness apart. I also appreciate how they regularly walk the floor to tidy up and ensure everything is functioning properly.

Membership options are very affordable, with multiple tiers to choose from based on your needs. Even the higher tier memberships are reasonably priced, especially considering the perks like access to massage chairs, hydro massage beds, tanning, and even use of other locations.

Speaking of locations, while I can’t speak for every Planet Fitness, this particular one is a fantastic example of what the brand aims to offer. If this location is any indication, I’d imagine most others deliver a similarly high standard.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, budget friendly, and well equipped gym with a positive vibe and no pressure. A great place to start or continue your fitness journey!

I joined this gym thinking it was 24 hours, it’s not. I need a 24 hour gym because i work long hours and don’t get off until late at night! They said they dropped the hours due to COVID, but COVID has been over for five years now. And they raised the starting membership price from $10/month to $15. Planet Fitnesses in other areas are 24 hours. Just ridiculous…

This is one of the better planet fitness' in Westmoreland county. Very big a tons of equipment. A fair amount of racks so you rarely have to wait for one to be open. I wished I lived closer so this could be my main one.

Planet fitness has been my gym for the last three years, And I have to say it’s the best gym experience I’ve ever had. I worked out in a lot of gyms. The gentleman at the front are always in upbeat mood Happy silly mood always greeting you with a smile. The female that works in the morning with a long blonde hair, she is an amazing woman always has been polite and helped me. She always answered my questions whenever they needed answered. I’m so sorry I can’t remember her name. My only concern would be about the tanning beds and having burnout bulbs in them and the staff at the time not making you aware of them. And when you Come out and tell the girls that are working you get nothing but a snotty attitude. I’m 45. I’m not looking to make friends. I was just making them aware and it wasn’t the first time that this ias happened.

My only personal wish was there would be more open floor space to do floor exercises and they have a permanent TRX set-up always in place. Personally, to do TRX and floor exercises I go to planet fitness in Latrobe where although the workout machines are crammed uncomfortably close together but they do have lots of open floor space and a specific space dedicated to for a TRX workout.

The staff is amazing! I am an older woman and not learned regarding exercise and weight lifting standards. They answered all of my questions and never made me feel dumb! I love the 30 minute room, I get a whole body workout regardless of my little knowledge of weightlifting! Thank you planet fitness! Also, the facility is clean and the amenities are relaxing!

I joined here for the convenient hours. One thing that has always bothered me about planet fitness is the fact that they say they are a judgment free zone, but they are the ones judging people. In one reply to a comment on here they say "our gyms are geared more towards first time gym users and general fitness. We work hard to create an atmosphere free of lunks. " This is in reply to someone who wishes there were heavier free-weights. Note to the owner: not all people who are working out at a more advanced level or more competitively are lunks. Actually, in my experience, they are the ones least likely to judge others because they are so ultra-focused on their own workout. Stereotyping people because they wear certain types of tank tops or drink out of a particular size of water bottle is juvenile. What you do simply perpetuates stereotypes toward us members with perhaps more experience and more advanced goals. To people who feel insecure you tell them to place the blame on others. It's not anyone's fault if someone else feels insecure or judged. If the way someone else is working out is making someone else feel judged, that person is the one with the problem. You're entire business philosophy is messed up. And I'm speaking with 20 years of experience as a member at various gyms, from the time I was new to fitness until now. I've encountered many of the people you would refer to as lunks and they really aren't any different than any other gym-goers. I never thought twice about it. We all just people who want to get our workout in at whatever level we are. That being said, your hours are great. The atmosphere seems fine, just like every other gym I've gone to, aside from the stereotypical statements posted on the walls. UPDATE: I have cancelled my membership because the environment here is now incompatible with anyone trying to get a serious workout in. The temperature is far too warm to safely workout at a high level. But I suppose you’ve already made it clear you are not really a place for actual workouts, so why I am even surprised the heat keeps increasing? And I do know how to read a thermometer by the way, so your attempt to deny it is useless. You guys get what you deserve. I will only be joining real fitness centers from now on.

Would do 1 star but the staff keep this place immaculate so i can't discredit them. However planet fitness as a brand and company is something I can no longer support. I hope they go out of business so another place can overtake them. Signed a contract for 24/7 gym membership then hours changed due to covid. I hoped they would go back to 24/7 but they did not. Not worth paying the same price for half of the hours. I work till 6pm they close at 7. No point even trying to rush to the gym for a 15 min workout.

I was trying to drag a bench towards the bench press Smith machine, and it was very cumbersome. However, a fellow gym member nicely asked if he could help me, and showed me the best way to carry it over. The people here are friendly and will help if you are in need, and will never make fun, or stare at you for lifting light or even heavy weights. Everyone is respected at Planet Fitness.

Latrobe, PA - Terrible customer service. I have been a black card member for YEARS, as I travel a lot for work. This trip I forgot my card and the guy at the front desk wouldn’t even help me! He said that he could not look me up in the system, never even tried anything. Let alone calling my home PF in NH. He turned me away from a gym I have full rights to enter. I found it very frustrating so I called my home PF and they informed me that is NOT standard policy and he should have found an alternative method to get my card scanned in. I said because of the way I was just treated I want to cancel my PF membership. They canceled my membership on the spot OVER THE PHONE, which PF never does. So congrats Latrobe, your customer service is so terrible that cooperate just broke policy just to keep me happy :)

Been a huge help. I was cheated on and kicked out of my home and had my stuff stolen and while I was with out I got a membership just so I had a place to get a shower while I got back on my feet doing better now but just able to get a shower was refreshing physically and mentally.

First off this is the BEST planet fitness there is in our area! the workers are friendly and always willing to help you out. The gym itself is huge and has many different machines so you don't have to wait and they just recently updated all their cardio machines. They are the cleanest gym I've been too as well, I always see someone cleaning. I feel most comfortable in this gym. They have lay down tanning beds and amazing hydro massages as well. The showers have side shower heads additional to the main one which is awesome. the lockers also already have locks on them which is useful because I always forget mine. The manager Carly and whole staff is sweet and friendly.

The employees are fantastic. They are knowledgeable and helpful. They are always cleaning to keep it safe for their patrons. The facility is immaculate. The equipment is always working. If a piece of equipment breaks, the out of order signs aren't there long because stuff gets fixed quickly so the patrons can get their workouts in. This is a great gym and I would highly recommend it to absolutely anyone!
