Update; It's been years and everyone is nice to me here. Seems like everyone is nice to everone here.

There's no division between intellectual and body strength. Instead we know there is a mind-body link. A healthy body affords a healthy mind.

With everyone nice and cool, and your own relaxation by doing a casual low impact routine, stress melts off.

Planet Fitness is literally the coolest place to hang out in Irwin apart from Sheetz... I'm not sure they want you hanging out at Sheetz for hours tho, lol.

Manager Katrina is so nice. Brettman assistant manager kicks ass. Brandon, Kyle, Mike, Lillia, Maitai, Areiel, Lemmy, Nolan, Bailey, the list goes on of awesome employees who work here and are even my friends outside the gym.

If I didn't have big projects, I'd love working at a place like this!!! So many beautiful people inside and out.

Gym is the new bar. You hang out, meet people. But on a medium time scale at the gym you get better looking and not out of shape like the bar. Society is better in this regard.

Planet Fitness corporate is actually really good people. I suggested employees get promoted to corporate office in Florida and they did! North Huntington Planet Fitness is one of the best PF there is nation wide. It's the lay out, showers, and employees.

If I told you a national treasure was in Irwin, would you not go to a place where legends exist and legends are forged?

Be a legend, casual up some exercise. Your mind and well-being will immediately thank you. Your body will tell you when to go stronger. You don't have to try if you practice every day. This ks is how legends are formed.

Every employee rules. They're super nice, smart, helpful and funny. This is rare. Like they're so awesome, I like coming to the gym more. They do everything right. You have a beyond rare crew here.

Edit: Since PF replied, I know the Staff by name and consider them close personal friends: Miriam, Callista, Katrina, Morgan, Falcor, Joe, John x2, Brandon, Tyler, Jordan, Lucca,Emily. Tyler even hangs out with me outside Planet Fitness. He brought me groceries when my car was broke down. All of them would do that too. They're quite all legendary employees!!! 10 stars out of five. They're upbeat, happy attitude rules, and maybe they're just laughing at my dumb jokes to make me feel good, but I'll take it.

Really didn't have any issues until I tried to cancel. Went in person and they wouldn't provide me anything in writing, their "systems were down". "It will be taken care of" and I pressed them for something only got a business card from the manager on duty. Its been 4 months and they are still taking my money. We just had our first child and we just couldn't use the membership. I won't ever come back here. I expect you don't fight the dispute with my bank either. Jerks

What gym closes at 7pm?! Prime example of a schedule that works for the employees with not a care about the customers.

Edit: Truthfully, I enjoy this gym, but the hours are very inconvenient for me. I am only in the area on the weekends and it's nearly impossible for me to get to the gym in time for a workout before they close. I miss the 24/7 hours, or at least stay open till 10pm on weekends.

I have been going to this gym for about 2 years now. I honestly enjoy going and it has been my go-to place for working out consistently. I have seen much progress with the use of the variety of machines. Though, I am a teenage girl, which for some reason seems to be an issue. I have had various people come up and talk to me very inappropriately which makes me extremely uncomfortable. I have also once had someone touch my arms while giving me “advice”. These encounters happen at least twice a week, in addition to people staring me down in a creepy manner. Thus, I believe this is the end of my journey at planet fitness and I do not recommend the place for beginners and or younger girls.

Update to my previous 5 star rating. Over the past year or so the club has been going down hill. Most of the employees are fine not an issue with them. The constant break down of equipment and waiting weeks for them to be addressed is very disappointing! From the hydro beds not operating properly or at all, tanning beds bulbs not working, trash bins full, being very warm temperature wise and certain items being coated with a thick dust layer. I wanna try to stay and leave this as my home club, but I may need a change in scenery.

Leaving this review solely on the fact someone went into the locker and stole my shoes. I tried giving the person the benefit of the doubt, but they had to go in to remove my AirPods case that I always keep in the shoe and my coat was hanging up. That’s really a shame but lesson learned to always lock everything. That’s enough to switch gyms for me though.

Avoid this gym if you can. Way over crowded. 25 years of fitness as an everyday hobby and this is by far the busiest gym I have been a member of. Bikes and treadmills always have issues with them. Rarely marked out of order. News stations removed from the televisions. Even personal ones on the bikes. That decision comes after complaints from babies. They also decided to not be 24 hours. Lots of other options in the area.

I feel that it’s super important to have great customer service especially when there is such a lack of it almost everywhere. I have been to many Planet Fitness locations and this one is my favorite! This location's weekend hours are lame. No reason to not be open overnight on weekends besides penny-pinching. It's shameful. The pandemic has been long over. It's time to open back up overnight. We know you're only closed because you only care about your bottom line and not the club members that fund your venture. Seriously considering cancelling my membership and I implore others to consider doing the same. At least other local gyms like Anytime Fitness are still actually open 24 hours every day.

Been a black card member for multiple years. Was told to switch it to my wife's name so she can use the other services they offer and I can use the guest pass. Show up this morning at 6:45 to work out and get kicked out because I'm using my guest pass. My wife had previously used her guest pass to work out while I wasn't there. A Solid Gym with Just a Hint of Crowdedness

I have been a regular attendee at Planet Fitness gym for quite some time now. A rating of four out of five stars seems to encapsulate my overall experience accurately - the gym has a great mix of positives with a minimal sprinkle of inconveniences.

The cleanliness is one of the stand-outs - the staff at Planet Fitness does an excellent job keeping the gym neat and sanitary. Even during peak hours, the facility retains its pristine condition which demonstrates an unwavering dedication to cleanliness.

Additionally, I can confirm the reliability of all their equipment. Not once have I encountered any broken or malfunctioning machines during my workouts, a testament to the attention they pay towards ensuring everything is well-maintained.

Moreover, the gym staff deserves a special shout-out here. Their awesome service contributes significantly to the supportive atmosphere of the gym. Approachable, helpful, and always sporting genuine smiles, they truly help create a cordial community for fitness enthusiasts.

However, the only issue that prevents me from giving a full five-star rating is the overcrowding. The popularity of the gym is a double-edged sword - while it's great to see so many people opting for a healthier lifestyle, it does lead to the facility sometimes being uncomfortably crowded, especially during peak hours.

Despite this minor inconvenience, I wholeheartedly recommend the North Huntingdon Planet Fitness gym.

Apparently some of the staff members who work here got offended by something I had said, and in light of this, the manager canceled my membership at this location, however, as I was at another local club, it turns out that he canceled my full account without taking with me in person, instead he called me and ended the call with me without having a full discussion with me, I am very displeased with this location, and I will not give

I was really enjoying planet fitness until they started offering “free memberships” to high school kids. Now when you go there are kids just sitting around hanging out on all of the benches and workout equipment just talking. The majority of them were not even working out. When I went to talk to the front desk staff about this they told me that there was not a manager present. If this continues the way it is I don’t see many actual paying customers keeping their memberships there.

Other than the silly hypocrisy of these signs, this is a great gym. It follows the model of many of the planet fitnesses, extremely clean extremely well organized pretty neutral music very friendly staff. I went with four stars because they don't have any bench press, they are all Smith machines. I have seen at least one planet fitness in a different state that had barbells and overall more variety and free weights. They said, I know the Smiths are pretty standard for PF.

I love the PF Burn and Strength classes with John. The class atmosphere is what motivates me at the gym and it was a deciding factor on choosing Planet Fitness as my gym.
