I almost exclusively workout in the mornings, and the staff is always incredibly friendly and professional, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The gym has a fantastic selection of machines, ensuring my workouts are smooth and uninterrupted. While my schedule keeps me from using my Black Card benefits as much as I’d like, every time I do, the staff is incredibly helpful, answering all my questions with enthusiasm.

Most chill gym environment I've ever experienced. Staff is lovely! Polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and always available. The gym itself is incredibly clean and the machines are well taken care of. There's also an abundance of machines which really cuts down on having to wait for things to open up. I honestly have yet to run into a situation where I've had to wait or take a lap to kill time. Even the customers are pretty rad. Could be the mindset of the type of people going to a gym like PF, or just a really cool space where everyone feels comfortable and relaxed enough to not have to be a jerk.

The Shaler Planet Fitness is a great place to workout. The staff is friendly and helpful and the equipment is kept in good working order. There is plenty of equipment available And I hardly ever have to wait for any machine. There is plenty of free parking close to the building. So far what I can say is, we went to find a gym and the young woman at the counter was not super helpful or informative. We asked about a membership, she handed us a paper with what the memberships consist of with no other information. Maybe my expectations were too high, I thought maybe she would explain the different aspects each came with, or a tour. Had I not been to a planet fitness before, I wouldn't have been able to explain it to him. I will however go back to try the "free day" you can get with the app. I hope my experience gets better and there is someone with the willingness to assist.

This is not a judgment free zone. I had the worst experience with shaler planet fitness. The staff from 2 days ago were terrible. I took my autistic client to the gym per his request. When we arrived we were not greeted while my individual has a sensory issue he carries his vape around never used it in the gym he knows not to indoors. He wanted to try out some equipment. He is new to the gym. The staff were at the desk laughing and watching our every move. We were there maybe 20 minutes. When were going to leave the staff stopped us and told us that she was watching and that he couldn't vape in the gym which he never did and that I couldn't come to the gym in crocks and that we didn't wipe down the equipment. We carried our own wipes and hand sanitizer but she never said anything to the other people in the gym not wiping equipment down. She proceeded to say say this is your warning and it's not acceptable at the gym. I told her that my client was autistic and that he was new to going to the gym she still said this is your warning and was very rude. So not only did they make fun of my autistic client she upset him and made him feel like he was in trouble. I will never bring any of my clients back to this location.

I’m an ex gymnast and my workouts are a little out of the ordinary. No one at this planet fitness has made me feel self-conscious about doing handstands or body weight movements by staring or asking me to stop. I feel like I can workout here without ever worrying about any judgement or criticism from the community or staff. 10/10 would recommend.

Employees must have a thing for feet, I came in wearing boots to lift weights and was stopped 10 feet after scanning my membership by rude and obnoxious employees that began to yell. They repeatedly yelled “use your head” and “look our online rules” and publicly ridiculed me for a honest mistake. The management at this gym is very unprofessional.

My fiancé and I signed up for pf memberships last month to save $$$ before our wedding and boy is it worth it. We used to go to another gym in Lawrenceville that we liked enough, but couldn't justify the amount we were paying. First of all, this gym ALWAYS has a treadmill available even at peak hours! It's very clean, is easy to get to, is right next to an Aldi's, and close to a taco bell in case I need to grab dinner after work. Love this place for us!

I’ve been to my fair share of gyms around the country, including planet fitnesses. Compared to other facilities, this place is great. Very well-maintained, all equipment is current, maintained, and clean. Front desk staff is friendly as well. I believe there are tanning booths, but I do not use those. 24/7 hours is a huge plus, and is the reason I got a membership here. Would recommend this place to anyone. Just be weary of cancellation policies. When you establish a membership, they ask for your banking information. You must *formally* come in to cancel your membership, no over the phone or on the app.. It is the only thing I dislike about planet fitness in general.
