I had a memeber of this club who accosted me in the locker room and threatened my life over some kind of political argument on FAKEbook. I exited the locker after he left and went straight to the front desk to report this incident.

He then came right to the desk and started saying he was going to kill me, break my legs and kick my a$$ right in front of 2 employees and an Assistant Manager. They tried to calm him down over the course of a few minutes but allowed him to stay inside the club threatening me over and over again saying he knows where my business is and would come there and kill me.

The staff got him out but the Assistant Manager lied when I said what did this psycho whisper in your ear, right in front of the club Manager and he said "he didn't whisper in my ear" which was a bold face lie.

Then the General Manager Denae did such a horrible job in assuring me I would be safe and he wouldn't be coming back to the club, I had to call the Police to file a complaint and to see who this clown is through their investigation.

However they (staff and management) obstructed justice and would not release the member's name to them so no charges could be filed or even investigated.

I went back to the club a few days later to ask if the member was banned and if I am going to be safe working out there and they told me nothing and so today i asked the General Manger Denae the same questions and she seemed confrontational and started blaming me for having a political argument with this nut job inside the club. My comment was "you can't be serious, now you are blaming me?".

It's amazing to me how incompetent someone can be in now making me feel like it's my fault for something I never instigated at the club, never spoke pokitics to him and not even knowing who this clown is why would she now say this to me?

Poor management all the way around of this situation. I hope everyone there can take some safe space training, see something say something seminars and other corporate seminars on how best to handle stalkers, harrassers and psychopaths from acting out their insanity in a "judgement free zone".

Listen parents of young teens and the like, I would take heed and caution when working out at this Planet Fitness location as they just opened themselves up to liability by ignoring the Police requests for information that could lead to the arrest of this psychopath before he attacks me or someone else for a social media argument over politics or whatever!

Sara is very ignorant and rude. So nasty on the phone. I'm not sure she's made it past 2nd grade due to not being able to spell simple words. Then, when I said I wanted to speak to a manager, Christian Coassolo got on the phone, and he was just as rude. They need to fire these incompetent workers and hire someone who can do basic work.

very nice gym!! I've used the one in edwardville and peckville.. though use tanning beds with CAUTION !! I go to the peckville one reg to tan and since I was out I went to the Pittston one.. the bed burned by back side of me but not the front side. I used the same time as I always do.. there was no warning from the nice people at the counter especially after me saying I go to a different one.

Planet fitness advertises a judgment free zone.
Machines are old, the employees are overwhelming with rules. Makes the place less enjoyable and unwelcoming. Boring… instead of wanting to come to a gym the over exaggerating rules makes you wanna workout at home or outside.

Bathroom and shower are cleaner than some other places I been too.

HIGHLY ANNOYED! I went to the desk, the I checked in and I checked in to get a tan! They man told me room 1 said it will be 2 minutes I said that’s okay I want the full time. I waited the lady walks out I walk in in the room I laid on the bed waited 5 minutes nothing so I was getting changed and a lady walked in on me! Billing issues with this location are virtually impossible to resolve. I've been a member for many years, but all of a sudden I saw a $10 late fee charged despite having an auto-pay all these years. I was hoping to get it waived over a 5-minute phone call, because, well, how can you possibly have a LATE FEE if you have an AUTO-PAY, but I clearly wasn't prepared for what I encountered. Phone conversation with Tessa was totally unhelpful - she kept insisting they had to resort to a "secondary payment method" that did not work, yet somehow it worked (!) when they charged the monthly fee with a late fee on top of it. When I asked how it was "secondary" if my payments were coming from it for more than a year without any issues, she insisted that it was NOT what she had been seeing "in her system".

There is no club manager's e-mail or any other contact details available to escalate. PF Corporate doesn't want to do anything about it, they can only make a request in their back end without any guarantees anyone looks at it. I ended up initiating a chargeback with my bank and after a month of review (I submitted all statements and described my case in detail) the bank ruled in my favor. Guess what? PF charged me the same $10 again three days later! Of course, I filed another chargeback with the bank over this charge too, what else am I supposed to do?

The worst thing is that I already spent on this WAY more time than mere $10 would warrant, but at this point it became a matter of principle - the whole point of auto-pay is to avoid situations like this, not invite them. Obviously, I cancelled my membership with PF for good when this ordeal started.

If any manager reads this, I hope he/she is happy they lost a customer of many years who rarely used their gym and was bringing dues like a clockwork over a bogus $10 fee that should not have been charged in the first place.

This is probably one of the best gyms I've been too. Like most gyms they have the equipment you need (though I'd like some more, TBH).

The thing that makes this place truly great is the team. Everyone that works there is super friendly, says hi and bye, and always seems to be cleaning something.

I particularly like the Body Enhancement. Red light therapy is working very well for me.

I alternate between Body Enhancement and the Massage chairs. I usually set them to a pulverize setting, but feels so good.

The rate and fees they advertise on the website is the ones you pay (unlike some other gyms).

It's great having the Black Card as I can go to any PF location. Traveling and need a bathroom? You got one.

Join this club. You won't regret it.

I went today around twelve noon to enroll. The gentleman at the front was not helpful. I wanted to enroll to become a member. His response was to download the app. I stood there and frankly got frustrated trying to download application. I told him if I would have known I would of done it at home before coming in. I have gone to planet fitness before and was able to enroll in person. He did not seem interested in helping me. I honestly just walked out. All he seemed to care about was eat the tootsie rolls for the members. Very disappointed.

I recently had to freeze my account due to unforseen circumstances that left me unable to make it to the gym. I came in after missing a few weeks to unfreeze my account and get started back up again. The staff was so very helpful but i absolutely wanted to compliment Miss Denae (hope that's spelled right) the manager of the Pittston Planet Fitness, who was so incredibly courteous and helpful in getting me set up and went far beyond to allow me to get back to business asap. Planet Fitness will always be my go to, I have tried other gyms and was disappointed, other gyms don't have all equipment working, they don't have sanitation stations, they don't have all the immensities that planet fitness offers right down to the well lit parking lots. Other gyms are over priced, under staffed, not convenient in any way.
I am always greeted with a friendly face. I know that when I travel if I am near a Planet Fitness I will always be welcome and will never be disappointed.
