I was traveling for work and only visited once. The staff were very friendly and everything was very clean. Even older equipment was in good working order. There was a few new items as well, like bikes with large screens.

This gym used to be cleanest but not any more. floor is not vacuum nor mop its gross tons of p hair on the floor and dirt. tons of lint on equipment since last 2 weeks. when manager B of this facility work he never cleans it. nor he let anyone clean it. 3 to 4 associates at register chit chatting.

I come here everyday and this gym is not as clean as it used to be. The female staff never clean the dressing rooms or showers daily. I came her 3 days ago and still saw the same thing laying about in the female locker rooms. Which is crazy, because the last time I was here I seen a female staff member cleaning the female locker room. Clearly someone is afraid to put gloves on and get down to it.

Pottsville PF is ran exceptionally well by Nick and his staff. Very clean, organized and staff always pleasant.All of the PF gyms are well worth the monthly fee. I highly recommend the Planet Fitness gym in Pottsville. Again, a great value and amazing staff.

Ive been going to different Planet Fitness locations in Pennsylvania and this is one of the most comfortable facilities that I've been to. Customer Service was excellent, Brenden was very attentive to all my needs and requests and was overall a joy to be around. The Equipment there is new and plentiful. The bathrooms and Black Card lounge were in pristine condition and functioning optimally. My only complaint is the thermostat! Ideally on the East Coast during Winter- youd want to come out of the cold and into a Warm environment to prime yourself to begin to exercise. Some like the cold since it motivates them to increase HR in order to warm up, but after intense cardio or anaerobic i end up with a soaked shirt that will get ridiculously cold within minutes. Involuntary ice bath option? Idk. Fix the thermostat! 5/5 bc its not significant enough to drop a rating.

Planet fitness is the perfect gym. Everyone is friendly, I always get greeted when I walk in. no one is staring at you like what are you doing here or you don’t belong there. People are helpful. The hours are perfect for my schedule, Being able to be at the gym at 5:30am is amazing for my whole day!! There are so many machines and enough for people to share and it’s not crowded. The new machines are different, and I don't like the layout of the machines. There are numerous members who feel the same way. Not busy in the early morning. Not 24/7 anymore. Weekend are shorter hours, but M-F is open 24 hours.

As a big girl I was nervous about going into a gym and I have been met the most friendly and inviting staff. I never leave reviews (good or bad) but each day I walk in in the mornings the staff always make my day better just from the friendly “hello” so I just wanted to pass on positive feedback. The bathrooms are always clean and I’ve watched on numerous occasions the staff cleaning the machines, refilling the bottles and paper towels. Shout out to the early morning guys (sorry I don’t know your names!) for always been pleasant when I’m dragging my @ss inside 😂

The gym is nice and clean and not too packed. The employees at the front are not very attentive or friendly. I just signed up for the all-inclusive package and my first visit was very... Strange.. They didn't offer to take around or show me anything.. They didn't show me how to use the kiosk or anything. It felt like I was a bother to them. And some Karen was waiting behind me at the kiosk and was getting frustrated because apparently I was taking too long. It's like c'mon it's my first time using this thing, and had to fill out a questionnaire for tanning as well.

I have never seen such deplorable conditions uncleanliness in the gym especially the women’s locker room where they like to leave used taponds for days on end in the shower for an example the other example is the broken handle in the tanning bed left unattended for weeks on end for people to cut their handThe management is one that is NOT educated on-how to give people their privacy or space to either work out or shower in the gym And since there are other gyms 30 miles away I would take the time to go to them instead of this planet fitness it is the worst planet fitness I have ever seen in all 50 states

The staff is about as helpful as wet cardboard in a flood. There's much better options than this place. They're beyond condescending when you ask the simplest questions and always seem to be moody and whiny. Seems they're just paid to stare and be miserable at the front desk. Good luck finding any paper towel machines to clean off the machines because they're too lazy to even restock them. Hire better employees.

The gym here is Fantastic, BUT
The tanning is the worst ever. 5 beds
a 2 booths, 3 beds and 1 booth are
broke and the 3 that are working don't
tan. All of these need the blubs replaced.
This was going on last year also. Something
needs to be done here instead of the
manager telling you the bulbs are going
to be replaced the following week and
then NOTHING is done. Just really tired of
being lied to and wasting my money and
time. Like I said SOMETHING has to be done!!

This location (Schuylkill Haven,PA) is very clean and Cheyenne one of the managers is just an incredible guy.
You will never have to wait for equipment.
Fully sanitized everywhere with wipes and spray readily available. It's definitely worth the fee.

I found a lot of the members very unsociable and standoffish though. I understand it is not a social hall but on the other hand I think people should be respectful and kind. I didn't find that at this location. Judgment free zone is questionable at times.
They only turn the music on when they remember to do so.

I was also told by the senior manager that they would be getting new massage chairs last year and they never did hence, that is one of the reasons I canceled my membership.
I may reconsider joining again someday because it is a big bang for your buck.

if you are planning to use planet fitness as your first gym i would not go if you would like a massage after your work out because you can put 600 pounds on the squat rack and possibly get squished into the ground but you will be under age to use the massage chairs in the gym because it is unsafe for someone under 18 to use them…. not recommended…

Started going here a week ago. I was very adamant about not joining a gym because I didn't want to deal with large crowds and waiting to use a machine. I had a treadmill at home but I really wanted to start regaining my upper body strength and buying gym equipment is so expensive.

I have access to a gym at work but I never remember to grab workout clothes and most days I am in a rush to get home. So to drive 20 minutes to use the gym at work after leaving just didn't seem feasible. Plus the showers at work are gross and barely get cleaned. That being said, not only is the gym at planet fitness very clean but so are the showers. Although so far I haven't used them since I only live ten minutes away, its a nice option to have.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. I havn't met anyone who has been rude yet. Using the massage chairs and hydro massage after a work out is helping to keep the soreness down from just starting a return to physical fitness again. Getting the black card made those two options worth it. There are plenty of sanitation stations around to use after a machine which is also nice. I was very surprised to see just how much equipment they really have. Honestly it doesn't look as big as it is from the outside. Oh also the crowd meter might be my favorite in app use. I am not a big fan of crowds to begin with. Having been out of shape for so long due to health issues has made me self conscious and yet the atmosphere at PF has been pretty neutral. I feel comfortable working out here. Overall its been pretty great.
