This place is the BEST!! Always clean, great atmosphere. But what absolutely seals the deal is the employee Kat. She goes ABOVE & BEYOND for everyone. She is always on top of keeping EVERYTHING & EVERYWHERE clean and safe. She’s consistently walking throughout the gym to make sure everything’s in tip top shape. She should be employee of the month, every month. She’s friendly and considerate and doesn’t just do the bare minimum like most employees. Kat has helped me and my friends countless times whether it was with managing our membership, or figuring out the machines, or using the tanning bed or massage chairs. THANK YOU KAT!!!! PF wouldn’t be nearly as good if you weren’t there. Kat is 10/10 1,000% of the time.

Horrible employee. I want to this club last night after utilizing the Allentown clubs for the past several months. Since the Allentown club is open 24 hours, I assumed this club was too. Honest mistake, right? (There was no one working the desk when walked in so it isn't like anyone said hey we are closing in 30 minutes and the hours in front are barely visible when walking in) Well not if you talk to the male employee working the club last night. I was in the locker room taking my shower when he came in and yelled that the club was closing in 3 minutes and I had to leave. I apologized and said I would hurry up. He came back a minute later and yelled because the water was still running. I told him I was rinsing off and he then threatened to turn off the lights and the water. On my way out, I told him it was a misunderstanding and asked why he was being so rude but then he continued his rudeness while obviously rushing out of the place. I will not being going back to the club after this experience and have already starting looking at moving to other gyms. I was at Maxx for years and never had any issues. I only have been at PF for 3 months and already the rudeness displayed last night was off the charts.

I would like to give a 5 star rating, but I just can't because of the fact that there is no hot water in the showers for the past two weeks. I have complained at the front desk, and I'm told they are working on it. How long to fix hot water??? I need hot water to wash off the oily sweat after a good workout. Cool or cold water is okay for the rinse, but PLEASE give us hot water for the wash. Okay!! Three days after I posted the above review about the lack of hot water, it was fixed. We now have plenty of hot water. Was it coincidence or response to the review I gave?? Whichever, I don't care. Thank you for the fix. Now you get the five stars from me.

This gym needs better leadership. People keep going to the machines right next to us when there are open machines in the same row. There are people that just sit at machines on their phones the whole time. Occupying machines while not using them. The employees there should tell them to get off of the machines if they won't use them. Other than those things it's a great gym!

The Quakertown Planet Fitness is my favorite one because the quality of folks there are just much better than my home gym which is on Stefko Boulevard in Bethlehem. I plan to leave that one and to join Quakertown even though I do have Planet Fitness black card.
The reason why I wanna leave Bethlehem is because they were not open on some days when I try to get there early and this was just 7 o’clock in the morning so I can’t be with anybody that’s not professional. I want my money to go to those that deserve it.

I’ve been a loyal member of Planet Fitness in Quakertown since the day it opened, and while the gym is consistently clean and the staff is always pleasant, I have to say the operating hours leave a lot to be desired. I understand that the pandemic affected many businesses, but it’s time for the Quakertown location to return to more convenient hours.

Before COVID-19, this gym was open much longer, with 24-hour access during the week and even longer weekend hours. Now, the weekend hours are limited, and the gym doesn’t open until 7:00 AM on Saturdays and Sundays. Many of us who work early or like to get in a workout before starting our day would really appreciate if the opening time could be moved to at least 6:00 AM on weekends. Additionally, consider expanding weekday hours and please eliminate the late opening after a holiday. It’s frustrating when other locations in the area, including those in Allentown and Souderton, have extended hours, especially on weekends and after holidays, but are not as conveniently located.

The location itself is fantastic—well-maintained, welcoming, and the staff makes the experience enjoyable—but please, it’s time to step into the current era with operating hours that reflect the needs of the community. If you agree, consider leaving a thumbs-up to show that we want better hours back at this location!
I’m hopeful that the management will hear the feedback and bring back the hours that made this gym so convenient and appealing. It would make a huge difference!

Thank you for your response, but I must express my disappointment with the generic nature of the reply I received. While I appreciate that most Planet Fitness locations offer extended hours, the response did not address the real concerns I raised about the operating hours at the Quakertown location, which continue to be a significant inconvenience for many of us.

As a member who has been with Planet Fitness since this location opened, I’m not alone in this sentiment—my review received 10 “likes” within the first few days, and there have been numerous other reviews and ongoing conversations among members highlighting the same frustrations. It’s clear that many of us would greatly appreciate the gym opening earlier on weekends (at least 6:00 AM) and extending weekday hours, especially after holidays. Other nearby locations, such as those in Allentown and Souderton, already offer these more convenient hours, which makes the current schedule seem even more limiting.

I have also just reached out to the club manager via email to directly discuss this issue, as I believe this is a matter that requires urgent attention. This issue goes beyond just a personal inconvenience—it’s about better serving the needs of the Quakertown community. I encourage others who share these concerns to speak up and make their voices heard, so we can work together to ensure the hours are updated to match the demand and convenience we deserve.

I hope management will take this feedback seriously and make the necessary adjustments. We’re all hoping to see more reasonable hours soon.

Facility is clean. You should really pay attention to fitness trends, though. At any given time, only around 30% of your cardio equipment is in use while people wait for the limited weight equipment. Get rid of at least two full rows of cardio equipment and get additional leg press and Smith machines along with more benches and a better selection of dumbbells and fixed barbells. Do that and add a belt squat machine for people like me who have neck and low back injuries that can't do back or front squats and maybe I'll come back.

Signed up with $10:00 per month they kept charging me $50:00 every month I was Told it was corrected than on the Nov 22 I cancelled my membership and was told my receipt will come in e mail it never did. Everyone I've met has been kind and helpful to myself and my guests. I enjoy the easy to use equipment and the different areas to explore. I also really appreciate the hydromassage chairs and the tanning rooms. The hydromassage chairs are great for getting your blood circulating and your muscles stimulated before a workout and great for a nice massage after. The Gym is very clean but the TANNING BEDS NEVER GET THE BULBS CHANGED AND PEOPLE NEVER CLEAN THE BED WHEN THEY ARE DONE TANNING. WE STAY IN THE BED THE FULL MAX TIME AND GET NOTHING. THOSE BULBS SHOULD BE CHANGED EVERY 500 HRS AND THEY ONLY CHANGE THEM ONCE A YEAR.

I'm very happy with PF - the front desk staff are so helpful and friendly. I love how the front of the club is all windows and has a lot of natural light. I enjoy working out on the yellow machines that are set aside and a little more private for the 30 minute work out. I also find the atmosphere where the massage chairs and tanning beds so relaxing - it appears you really thought about your members in the design. And to top it all off the gym is always clean and tidy!

People in these reviews truly do not know what “clean” is because this is one of the dirtiest PFs i’ve ever been to lol. every piece of equipment is dusty and they rarely vacuum, but the bathrooms seem like the only thing they clean. i will say i do enjoy the atmosphere here. the staff is very nice and i never feel “out of place” in this gym like some of the other PFs i’ve been to. i dont get to the gym until 5:30pm and it’s never super packed which i really like. the location is nice too

The young people that work at night are awesome. (I only go at night)
BUT the manager needs to start changing the bulbs in the tanning beds more often. Stop being cheap! It's a waste of my time & money when the bulbs are OLD & don't tan.

One of the smaller PFs I've visited. A very clean, possibly newer PF.
The exercise equipment is up to date and most of the machines at a larger PF are here, only had to visit the 30 minute area for one machine that was not in the main area (or I just could not find).
The staff was friendly as I entered and when I left.
