Decent gym, never had a problem with ANY guests. People mind their business and are of all ages. Have had over friendly (male) employee interactions.
Previously they were closed for what I heard was water damage/mold. The gym closure is only posted on the door, online hours are not updated. Additionally, they closed for new equipment and just reopened- they added 3 barbell racks in the previously 30 min express room, but rearranged a lot of the other parts of the gym. First and foremost there are NO MIRRORS in that room, something I sure hope they add, but doesn’t make sense for something that requires more stability. There are also 2 hack/angled squat racks in the room, plus the leg press on the floors.
The reason I bring that up is am actually so sad to see the back extension leave, I even had employee help to ensure I wasn’t crazy. Many of these leg presses I don’t see used, however the only back extension setup that was constantly used (in the trx room) is gone.
As a girl, we love our booty pumps- from hip thrusts to back extensions- we want these targeted pieces of equipment in a safe environment. While I am glad to see heftier equipment, it does not make sense to me why they chose what went and what stayed.
Ps, Maybe they will get a new one, the old one smelled like piss, however was so sad to not feel upper glutes today.

I’d give this location more reviews but every time I come the same trash that was there days before is still there, today… I was showering until I looked over and saw worms crawling in the shower. I told the staff and all she said was “ good to know “ not im sorry about the inconvenience or okay I’ll get someone to go take a look at the issue. Not pleased at all. The black card is a great deal! I can bring my daughter as a guest any time she is willing to go. I can enjoy a wonderful massage at the end of my workout when I go by myself. ENDLESS rows of cardio equipment so there is never a wait. I really enjoy the 30 minute express weight lifting area. The fancy rowing machines with water are worth signing up and trying out!

The Planet Fitness in Limerick, PA, recently acquired new equipment. While this might seem like positive news, the implementation has been problematic. The new equipment has been placed haphazardly, occupying any available space. Consequently, the free weights area is now overcrowded, leaving insufficient room for workouts without encroaching on others' space. Additionally, two pieces of new equipment positioned against the wall are unusable if the workout bench is in use, unless individuals are willing to sit extremely close to each other. There is ample space in the facility to accommodate the new equipment if Planet Fitness took the time to rearrange the existing setup. This situation is highly unsatisfactory, and I am considering finding a new gym for my wife and me.

This is the worst Planet Fitness I've been to. There should be a sign on the door that says LEAVE YOUR EGO AT HOME. The young guys at this gym think they're the toughest guys in the gym. They walk around like they're all that & like they invented weight lifting. I can't stand it & I hate the atmosphere. If you don't want to be surrounded by a bunch of young guys with big egos, then find a time when it's not crowded or go to another Planet Fitness.

Planet Fitness has ample hours, a considerate client base and staff that are always friendly. If you are interested in suggestions for improvement it would be to arrange your equipment to facilitate super setting. This would involve interspersing your dumbbells around your cable machines vs the current setup which is by exercise modality. I would be glad to help with this If it is at all of interest, but I do realize that most people do not exercise in this fashion.

Can someone at National Fitness Partner explain to me why the day after a holiday, You're locations open one hour later then normal. I arrived this morning at 5Am along with others only to be turned away. This left me with 2 options return home or go to work an hour and a half early and wait in my car. There was no reason to assume your hours would have changed. In the future, I feel the day after a holiday should reflect the normal hours in which it falls on. Update; Yes, we've seen the crowd meter on the app and it tells us what we already know - the gym is overcrowded. We've also noticed the 30-Minute Circuit room is no longer monitored by the staff and all signs have been removed, making it near impossible to use as intended.

Second update: I'm guessing the gym is understaffed these days because it's barely kept clean. The men's room is a mess with a busted urinal, missing soap dispensers (there's a single temporary one), water everywhere, and unclean floors. I'm sure they clean it occasionally, but it's been this way for every visit I've had over the past few weeks.

Very clean! Not overly crowded although you have to be a little more patient at busy times. That patience is easy if you are flexible on the orders of your circuit(s).

The equipment is a little dated at my location, but I've gotten used to it. The staff at Limerick are fantastic. They are SUPER friendly and outgoing. They recently wished me a happy birthday at the end of my workout. Thing is, they remembered that from when I checked-in and it had popped up on their screen. Very thoughtful. I use other PFs when traveling and the newer equipment is nice if not a bit confusing. But the staff at my home location is the best and I prefer to be there.

I'm noticing more & more machines being out of order & the staff have no idea when they will be fixed. This is especially frustrating in the evenings when the gym is crowded & there are lesser working machines.
Question to PF - what's the plan to get these machines fixed?

Not very clean. The water fountain had some kind of powder mess on it for at least 3 days before it was cleaned. Ladies room constantly a mess - thought why the ladies have to be that messy is beyond my understanding.
I cancelled my membership and they refuse to refund the "annual" fee, despite fact I used only 2 weeks of the "annual" cost. Not a professional business. Some of the staff is quite rude. There are better options in the area. Don't waste your time here.

Not a fan of the new hours!!👎 I have been a member of Planet Fitness for about 14 years, and was happy when the Limerick/ Royersford location was added, making my commute to the gym under 10min as opposed to 25min+. However, as only parent to my daughter, and having multiple jobs, late at night was the only time that worked for me on a constant basis, without taking time off from my job or taking it from what little time I already have w my daughter. The change from "24 hours" to closing at 10p is a real let down. There are many gyms I had chosen not to join instead of Planet Fitness, mainly because I can almost never use them if I need to be out by 10p. I hope they bring back the 24-hour schedule!! People who work beyond the 9-5 and have kids... should matter too.

For the amount of staff this place has you would think they would still have 24/7 hours. Why are there 3 people on their phones behind the desk and a girl in uniform standing on a treadmill talking to a friend….. cardio equipment is well over 80% of this gym which is frustrating for the ones that need a smith, leg press etc. 2 extremely friendly and personable staff members are the only reason we stay. All of these new hires are rude. Mirrors are disgusting, bathroom trash is always over flowing, children crowd in groups around machines that are needed by people clearly waiting. Does anyone clean here anymore? Had to pick up piles of dust, animal and human hair, dirt, rocks, and trash along the walls and corners before working out to avoid it from being lifted into the air and into eyes and mouth. Such a filthy place presents an extreme hazard to patrons as they could easily choke to death while trying to excessive on the equipment that is not maintained and abused by a significant portion of guests. The free summer tween wave and lack of staff has created an unsafe environment where teenagers are not with parental supervision and cluster around equipment while on their phones and bags on the ground. The men's bathroom looks like it has been left to rot as both stalls were blown apart with fecal matter and paper all over the ground, toilet, and walls. No soap in the bathroom and paper towels empty. Bathroom floor is soaked and black from dirt and grime sliding in the frothy pool. It is amazing that Planet Fitness .... the clean thumb club would allow for the thumb and hand to become covered in filth and create an environment perfect for mass disease outbreak. Suggest management find Tristan and bring him back to the planet and clean things up and back to the clean environment that he created.

Your staff stands at desk playing on phones all day while they should be policing the gym I should not have to go tell on others especially the children you allowed in. My wife and I joined three weeks ago and after two great days of working out, they decided it was time to give memberships away free for the summer, now the machine are clogged with kids sitting on machine not utilizing them and playing on their phones or simply taking up the machine by just sitting on it unused(even in the 30 mins quick workout area). You may have your free memberships as we’ll take ours elsewhere.

Perhaps your staff should have done all that BEFORE we had to resign our Black memberships. I should NOT be forced to “tattle to staff” just because they refuse to properly complete their job responsibilities and you are not able to apparently administer proper training and supervision

I loved this gym, nice location, friendly staff and very clean but since teens can work out for free all summer long it is hard to enjoy the place. There are usually no free weights left, the smith machines are always taken and even if not being used they are just standing there talking. I don’t want to have to stand around and wait to get a work out in. I think the idea of having teens work out for free is great but what about paying customers who work and can only go specific times and then just to be disappointed that you can not do anything in the gym? I will be cancelling my membership shortly other than that everything until recent was great.
