Every time that I go to this location, there’s never anyone working at the front desk, which is a major inconvenience if you would like to tan or use the hydromassage. Also, this location always blasts hip-hop and rap music: so if aren’t a fan of that type of music, avoid this location.

I’ve been a member of this gym for over two years. Honestly, I almost didn’t renew because I don’t feel like I’m getting much out of it. That changes after I signed up for a free personal training session with Jaeda. She’s amazing! She started by asking me about my fitness goal. Then she created a personalized workout plan just for me. She walked me through each exercise and explained how to use the machine correctly. I love it. With her guidance and a proper diet, I have started losing weights steadily and truly enjoy going to the gym.

Unfortunately, I had to change my gym membership at the beginning of 2025 from the Cameron Wellness Center to Planet Fitness due to a change in medical plan coverage.

So far, I have not found a good time to go here. Both the parking lot and the gym itself are always packed. The place is not very clean. In the locker room, the same lockers and sinks have been out of order for the last month. There are signs saying they'll be fixed soon, but I don't know when that will be. Also, the locker room always has a funky odor.

On the positive side, both the staff and members are friendly, and, of course, it is extremely affordable.

Tan almost every day. Asked Thurs and Fri which beds had the newest bulbs ( #2 stand up got changed 2 weeks ago) . So today asked and was told, bed 7 just changed 2 days ago. Lies . 1 bulb burnt out 1 so black in ends and all the rest turning dark on the ends. Change your damn bulbs , it a waste of time if they are old. Told the girl who told me that whoever told her,lied to her or she lied to me . Stood there and continued to lie and say they were new and changed.

I stay in Washington for 3 weeks at a time and home for 2 weeks. I really like this planet fitness. It is a little smaller than my home pf I think, but is missing nothing. They actually have way more stair masters which I like t do for my cardio. Staff is friendly. Things seem to get fixed fairly fast and the showers are definitely nicer than my home pf.

I'm very disappointed with the management of the Washington, PA location. I was banned due to "policy violations" when they "lost" their only master locker key and couldn't give me a definitive time when the replacement key would be available to return my locked up valuables. I was told this is one of the only stores to have these style combination locks and that upper management has ignored requests to replace them. Total management fail with the chain of custody of the sole master key for the facility.
Sure I was upset, because my car keys, phone, and wallet were held hostage for 3 days. I'm most displeased mostly because of their slack attitude, lack of urgency, and zero effort to expedite this matter.
To make it wall the more insulting, once they returned my belongings, they offered no restitution , then charged my account on the same day and cancelled my membership!
Don't join this club. It's your typical corporate culture where no one has agency and corporate can't be reached.

Super clean 2 story version. Not many of those I’ve seen in my vast travels! Massage chairs are an older version but they still do a great job. I will even note that most locations give 5 minutes and you have to come back to ask for another 5. This location has tokens. If it’s slow you can get 2-3-even 4 (5 mins each). Gotta love it!

I value the amenities of the VIP program. The Washington, PA location is clean, organized, and not difficult to gain timely access to the equipment you need for any workout plan. I believe the staff out courteous and service focused, but Earl is a 10 out 10. He exceeds expectations and goes above and beyond. I own multiple companies and he is an A+ player. This gym is very clean from Machines to the bathroom and locker room. I have been to 2 different locations and they have both been well managed. When I am working out I don't feel weird. Everyone stays to themselves. My friend and I started going on Mondays. We both suffer from Anxiety. It is nice to show up for myself as well as my friend. I highly recommend Planet Fitness!

The fanciest planet fitness I've ever been to. 2 stories. Seriously, 2 stories. Most of their cardio is on the second story up the stairs. Everything else is down below. Very clean. And the showers are extra fancy. Truck driver friendly as long as you're not hauling a trailer and hanging out for 10 hours. If you park in the back, get in your workout and shower and leave, you won't have any issues. Also, decent cup of coffee right there in the parking lot. Just up the road is a Sam's Club Walmart. Sporting goods stores target you name it. This gym seems to be bigger than the rest and has more equipment and machinery than most. Thanks, guys.👊

I like this planet fitness and the morning staff are great! Sadly this this will be a bittersweet review. I have a routine as an over the road truck driver. First thing in the morning coffee, (HOT) shower then I’m off to work. When I get off I hit the gym hard. One problem tho…. This morning there was no hot water. I asked the staff why wasn’t there any hot water and they said these were orders from the higher ups! Shame on you higher ups! As I said before the morning staff is great but making them shut off the hot water feels personal!

I've been a member for a while now, overall I like the facility, it's huge so I don't feel super crowded going into it, even when it's busy I usually find my machines available. I will say the steppers and certain cardio machine's have been out of order a good bit which has gotten annoying. My only real complaint is the hours, I'm sure covid played a factor and staffing issues but even if you can't make it 24/7, at least be open til 10 on the weekends. Having to drive out of the way to get to another PF is not only inconvenient but it forces the black card membership for people that don't want to spend the money for it (I have it and yes it's not that much more, but you know there are people that are affected by this).
