Really great parking for trucks. Do not park near the houses fence line. They don't appreciate it and can hear you. Nice little gym. Great showers. Patrons have some difficulties with their bowels, though. Heard around 6 flushes when I was taking a shower. Great plumbing though! Hot water regardless of the flushes! Great water pressure. Great little gym. Nice Pennsylvania Mountains throughout. I-99 is absolutely gorgeous coming down from New York.

at the time of writing this review 07/9/2025 8:30pm It’s a good gym; the staff during the time I go 7pm to 9pm is great. The new girl is very polite, friendly, and has a great vibe. The atmosphere is really positive to be honest, you feel at peace, both with the place and with the staff.🫡🫡🫡

Never have I had this issue till today with this planet fitness first guy at desk tells my guess whom is 70 he couldn’t be here now I have a black card membership so yes he can be there then I asked a to use hydro message and he said there was none available when there was 1 available I have a service dog that going with me and don’t know if he’s giving issues because I’m disabled or what his issue is but it was all uncalled for if I didn’t work out of Williamsport at times I would go there I only go when I do work there other than that I go to state college which is a better choice I spoke to girl there she was great she said she would talk to him and deal with it so we will see what happens when I come next time I’ve been coming here off and on for several months first time I had this issue there

Well let me start by saying as I walked in I was greeted by a young gentlemen by the name of Angelo who was over the top courteous kind and so very helpful, Angelo explained all in great detail where I felt comfortable. He ask me if anything else I needed or questions I might have, them Angelo and Brandon walked me through all the equipment and it was wonderful. Over the top kindness.

Great workout there. Friendly welcoming staff when you 1st enter. They have 2 real good spin bicycles other p. F. don't have. Appears real clean like most planet fitnesses I have worked out at. If they could get one more stair climber that would be nice cause the 4 they have appear to get used alot at the Williamsport P.F.

This is my first experience going to a gym. Planet fitness has created a positive and comfortable environment, from the employees who greet you at the door to the promotion of the “judgement free zone.” I always walk in the door knowing I’m about to have a good workout.

I can work out whenever I want, wherever I want. Plenty of equipment. The staff is attentive and helpful. I've yet to try the massage chairs and tanning beds. So far, I love it! ❤️

The facility is nice and clean. Staff is friendly. However the amount of some equipment such as stairclimbers which are popular is a let down. There are lots of different elipticals which are always empty, but stairclimbers are limited with one even being out of order for a while. Also people remain on the stairclimbers for long periods of time at a very slow level mindlessly scrolling on their phone. Staff can not kick them off, but it is unfair to those who really want to use it.

The aesthetic and machines help me feel motivated. The options for drinks and snacks plus the discount and the 30 min workout zone significantly improve my experience here over the YMCA. I also prefer PF way over the YMCA because of the HydroMassage and Wellness Pod as these are perfect for after a workout and after a long day at work. The staff are also very friendly, and the overall atmosphere is more modern.

I miss this gym sooo much… I was a member but moved to Lock Haven…. There is a vacant non used gym area right across from McDonald’s downtown! The gyms down here are so expensive and over 50 a month…. Please I beg you to consider another location to lock haven! State College has more planet fitnesses so I know it’s possible!!! The showers were clean! The red line tanning stand-up is prolly one of the best tanning beds I've ever been in! The hydromassage chair was powerful and clean, they have regular massage chairs, and I also got to experience the wellness pod. It helps take yer mind somewhere else so you can relax and lower yer stress. I really enjoyed it. Im from out of town and was shown how to use the tanning bed and wellness pod. Brandon was very polite and had knowledge of the equipment at this planet fitness. I really appreciate the hospitality here. This place deserves more than 5 stars!!

This gym is waaaaaay too small! I have been to dozens of PFs over the years and this is the smallest one I have ever seen. Way too crowded and the equipment is old and not updated. The previous PF I went to updated their equipment regularly. Pretty sure the cardio equipment is at least 5 years old from the looks of it. The pits...

1 Star til they fix the crowd meter its ridiculous eight now and 2 bars only on the meter .... ridiculous.

My only problem is the crowd meter never has it had more than 3 bars less than half then you get there and it's packed they need to be more accurate

nothing more frustrating than wasting time because 20 year olds standing in front of a machine for 20-30 minutes for 4 sets if the crowd meter was accurate I would have waited instead I think it's not that many people then I get there and it's hard to find a parking spot fix the crowd meter

Not happy with my experience this morning. I usually go at 5am in the morning because the gym gets to busy but this morning I came in at 8am and they had half the gym closed off. Could not use any of the equipment I needed. If they needed to clean that area it needed to be done at a less busy time. Not at a peak time. It's already bad enough that equipment takes a long time to fix when broken.

I've been going to Planet Fitness for over a year now. They even changed location to a bigger layout, but it still seems almost too small for the popularity. Most gym goers focus on lifting vs. cardio, but over half the layout is dedicated to cardio equipment. They need to update their layout to fit their clientele vs. The franchise. One or two more smith machines and one more cable tower would definitely work. But, One Thing I would tell anyway, you can not go wrong for the price. Maximum $25/mth, and 24-hour access 97% of the time, and the equipment available. You can have a decent workout no matter your comfort level. Personally, I would like to see a bigger black card VIP area with one more red light therapy bed and maybe one hydro therapy bed to keep up with waits and demand. If it was ever possible, a sensory deprivation tank would put you into the more demand with the newer fitness crowd (just a recommendation).

New location is much smaller. Went to desk & asked if they could put a sign up stating to place gym bags & dirty sweaty gym clothes in or on top of the lockers. No room to sit down to dress. I was told by a staff member they couldn’t. Would have to come from corporate.
Also, went to front desk 3 times to use black member amenity, & 3 times they told me they just put someone else in there even after the guy said to come back in 10 minutes all 3 times.
I’m sure the staff is aware of the condition of locker rooms. I get the feeling from them that nothing will be done about it.
As far as the total disrespect from your staff member telling me to stop back to use black card amenity, no excuse other than he just doesn’t care.
Been a member here since November of 2016.

Very clean yes, how ever when i joined , i had joined to take my 16 yr old son who is bigger than a normal 16 yr old he looks 20. Anyway i had asked if there was like a trainer or someone who could show my son what to do.i was told no we really dont have anyone for that ,you just scan the code and it shows you.. umm no i would like to have someone actually show my son the correct way to lift weights or use the equipment to help him and he had shoulder surgery a yr ago. Give him a little confidence that he is doing the exercise correctly, not just wasting time. Only need someone to kinda guide him maybe 2 days to get him started. It is very stressful going to a gym being a bigger kid and not really knowing how to use the equipment correctly or lift weights correctly to actually help tone muscle and lose weight, not just waste time and get disappointed..

You should be open at least till 10 the place even tonight has a lot of people and the rude lady kicking everyone out. Yelling when you come in the door even at 730 we close at nine. Planet Fitness has so much variety to offer their clients. It's so refreshing to see diversity in the gym, not only in race but also in fitness level. Everyone gets along and is respectful to each other. It truly is a "no judgement" zone. You can rest assure that the equipment is clean. Employees are constantly wiping down the equipment. There's not a day that I workout that I don't see an employee walking around cleaning. I typically workout on the treadmill, rower, free weights, and TRX. Even when the crowd meter is showing more bars, I've always been able to get the equipment I need for my workout.The only reason I didn't give a "5" is two of their water rowers screens have been broke since I joined. I asked an employee and he said they have been broke since installed, but why isn't someone getting them fixed? I use the other two rowers but would prefer to use the water rowers. The other reason I didn't give a "5" is it is a little far for me to go (not PF fault at all).

I have never felt so I welcomed and intimidated somewhere in my life. Judgement free zone my butt. I came here to relieve stress not to create more yet that’s exactly what happened. After giving it some thought I’ve decided that I will not be returning. I don’t need to Jr high drama.

And to think…all these times I was bragging up this place to friends and recommending it to them.

Some of these employees are very intimidating and I feel anything but comfortable here. Definitely not a judgement free zone.

Taylor and Lisa are incredibly intimidating and the reason I decided not to come back. Lisa triggered previous domestic abuse from my ex husband and things have not been good for me. I haven’t had flashbacks in a while but now I’m having them again. I think they both need to learn to control themselves better.

If you feel a customer is breaking a rule, the professional response would be to pull the person aside and quietly letting them know “We don’t allow that here” instead of flipping out scolding the customer yelling “I’m calling to get you into trouble” for a rule they aren’t even aware of. We are not in second grade.

And then I was gaslit by employees, as well as being a victim of bullying as the staff and management seem to be selecting me as the person they choose to pick on but are not treating me the same as other customers just because I’m very polite when I come in so they seen me as an easy target.

Coming here feels like you’re attending Jr. High gym class again.

Also rushing customer when tanning is not cool especially when there are five other units available.

I’m taking my business where I feel welcome instead of picked on and was severely humiliated.

This is one of the more busy planet fitnesses I've been to. They've downgraded with the new location as it is now miserably tight, has 1/5th of the natural light, and has a color imbalance with the excessive fluorescent light. It's just a very uncomfortable space now.

I wonder what the difference in rent is.

I was hopeful with the remodel - perhaps even excited. I'm very disappointed.

New location worse. Locker room small. Zero ventilation in back corner where leg press machines located, so hot there. Ive been to 25 or so planet fitness locations and many other gyms, equipment here is old. I spoke to people in charge at the front desk about asking them to move a weight rack to a more suitable location and they ignored me.

I love my local Planet Fitness in Williamsport, PA! The entire staff is friendly and helpful. I’m in my mid-50s and the trainer, Bryce, design a program tailored to my needs, taking into consideration certain limitations I had due to pain points at the time. He took his time and explained all of the machines to me. I’ve been going 2-3x a week for almost a year now and am no longer having those limitations. My body feels stronger with no pain! The gym is so clean and I love my black card membership. It’s worth the few extra dollars because I treat myself to a hydro massage after every workout. Now, since they moved to a new location, they’ve added the Wellness Pod, which I love! Going to PF is a way for me to treat my body with the love and care it needs and deserves. It’s no longer a chore - it’s “me” time that I now treasure. I will be a member for the rest of my life.

This is one of the best PF’s I’ve been to. It’s super clean, the staff is friendly and they are very attentive to the machines.
Also a very welcoming environment which can be hard to find at public gyms!

As for the equipment it’s limited like all PF’s but it gets the job done and has options for each body part. It’s just not a free weight gym.

Not nearly enough weight lifting equipment for the amount of active members who utilize this gym. Whoever decided the layout of the equipment is inept and most of the bare metal surfaces are rusted to the point that the weight plates no longer easily slide onto the leg press or smith machine. Most of the adjustments for the machines are also rusted and become stuck or difficult to move. A little lubricant and some effort from staff would go a long way to remedy this. Locker room isn’t very clean either and smells fairly bad most of the time. By far the worst PF I’ve been to, but none of these issues are unable to be fixed with some participation by corporate to supply staff with the necessary tools.
