Would be 5 stars if the staff was friendly. They aren’t all unfriendly, but it seems like they mostly are. It’s clean, safe, not too crowded. The members are good about putting weights back and wiping down machines compared to other gyms in this area. Machines are newer and kept in good working order. I drive here past two other locations when I’m here for work monthly.

Today is October 25, 2025. There's 7 vehicles of customers sitting outside of the Planet Fitness still waiting for staff to come and open the gym. It's scheduled to be open at 7AM. It's 7:17AM as I'm writing and still no staff in sight. This is embarrassing for a newly opened gym to have incompetent and unreliable staff and manager.

I don't write reviews but I have to make known to any future customer to find any other gym. It has been a consistent issue that staff does not show up on time. Best case scenario, they are 5 minutes late, worst case scenario is today when it's almost 20 minutes late and there's nobody here. Even though Edge Fitness is a further drive, I'd rather go back there and be a gym member. At least they open on time, every day.

Please be wary of this gym. Has good equipment and environment is good and nonjudgmental but if you care about punctuality and professionalism, this place isn't it.

Very nice staff, the new manager is awesome. But I’m so confused on why they removed the wellness pods especially at a time like this (with tariffs, ppl losing employment and etc). When I mentioned I was upgrading bc of this no one informed me that they no longer have them. I only upgraded my plan b/c of the “Wellness Pods”. Please bring them back!!!!! ASAP!!!

The Teams are very Friendly and courteous. I Love the Access to the Ellipticals. There are always plenty of them at the locations I've visited. Plus the Black Card is Amazing.I do have a main location but at times I've used two others pending on my job hours.And The Massage Chairs and Beds are clutch. I need them in my life. So, I need them in my Life. 👍🏿

It's clean, the staff are nice. There is plenty of equipment and a good mix. However, this gym has quirks. If it's really windy or rainy, the power will sporadically go out for unknown periods of time. Sometimes, they open late, which sucks if you're on a time crunch. The intersection to go to the lot for the gym should have a left hand turn signal at the light, but it doesn't, and there are accidents outside the property all the time. A lot of this is out of their control. Overall, I still prefer this location over others.

These people are crooks. I was paying for a plan through my work, and they were charging me, too. Plus, additional add-ons. They gave me the run around from (3) different locations just to cancel the membership, and the extra fees were NEVER fixed/corrected. I will NEVER join another membership type plan.

I love the Woodlyn Planet Fitness. The staff is very friendly and personable, the gym is clean, the equipment is in working order and the spa area is wonderful. I love the hydro massage, the massage chair and Wellness Pod in the spa area, and often go to this Planet Fitness location specifically, because of the Wellness pod. I really enjoy using the Wellness meditation feature, which has become a favorite healing tool for me. I'm very grateful to be a member of Planet Fitness gym.

Planet Fitness Club at Woodlyn is the best. It is super clean, has great staff, and clean bathrooms. Lots of equipment in great condition and lots of TVs to keep you entertained. Lots of parking and conveniently located lockers. I highly recommend it.

My husband explained to them that our driving situation changed and we will have to cancel our membership. They charged his account two days later, there never seems to be a set time when they go into your account. A young lady at the front desk told him to come in to cancel he got a ride there as she suggested. He was told I needed to come as well although I did not need to be present when my husband (not me) signed us up.

The SUPERVISOR MIKE no last name was very ignorant, unprofessional, non caring and nasty. I will be notifying the corporate office.

After my husband left with his ride I’m told I could MAIL not email a letter saying I want to cancel and my husband could of cancelled that day. Mail?!? Get a UBER/LYFT to go out and buy an envelope and a stamp and I suffer with pain in my legs.

Pay money for an UBER/LYFT? To cancel a membership I did not need to be present to get but need to be present to cancel!?!?

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Management SUCKS!!!

This is the best planet fitness in the area. The gym is always clean and the machines are always working properly. What makes this the best gym in the area is the staff. I visited the gym for the first time over the Thanksgiving holiday. I had a very positive experience. The staff on Friday and Saturday morning were very nice, pleasant and accommodating to me. I normally visit the gym in Ridley Park, but this one is closer to my home, so I am looking forward to walking there and enjoying the facilities.

I loved this place until they embarrassed me, I had a balance of $40.00, from July 2023, I knew my account was pass due because I switched banks, I payed it no mind because the other Planet Fitness pays it no mind, the lady in the front with blond colorful hair chased me down to the locker room to tell me. She could have pulled me to the side & say “Your next work out you’ll have to pay your account balance”.After I took changed into my work out clothes. I travel from Drexel Hill to this one simply because it’s peaceful, & not crowded, I’ll probably go back to the one in Drexel Hill or in Philadelphia, because I don’t like the way she handled that situation.
