Hello, I’ve worked out in some fashion my entire life. Fitness and Good Health are priorities in my life. I’ve known about PIT Conshohocken for years but i was reluctant to try it as I thought there would be certain exercises that would add yet another sports injury to my resume. Well, I was completely incorrect. These workout allow you to go at your pace and to modify any exercise that you cannot do or choose not to do. This does not cut back on the intensity of the class. PIT welcomes you to their community on day one. The instructors and members are very friendly and the atmosphere is motivating. Along with the physical benefits of the workouts, the mental health benefits are huge. You walk out of every class feeling a sense of accomplishment. PIT offers many different classes and have them available early in the morning and into the late afternoon. They even have classes on Saturdays and Sundays. I encourage anyone, regardless of fitness level or age, to join and see what it’s all about.

I’ve done it all — from traditional gyms like LA Fitness and Philly Sports Clubs to boutique spots like SoulCycle — but The Pit (Prime Intensity Training) is on another level. What I love is that it’s a full hour of pure workout. You want to stretch? Do that before or after. This hour is all about moving.
It’s full-body — think sledgehammers, burpees, mountain climbers, lunges, ski ergs, and tire flips. Every muscle is working. The workout is station-based, so if you hate burpees, don’t worry — you won’t be stuck doing them for long. Don't know how to flip a tire, the team will show you.
You can go at your own pace, so don’t be intimidated. But if you’re a workout junkie, it’s incredibly effective. Your body and your heart will thank you for it.

Just started working out here this past summer. I was very hesitant to join after the first 10 days because I did not know if I would be physically able keep up with many of the exercises in the circuit/core classes - but I was wrong and I feel stronger every week! I modify when needed but still feel like this is the BEST 60 minutes of a workout I have ever felt!
I am addicted to PIT - the welcoming people, the energy of the place itself and the trainers (Matt, Ashley, Kevin, Alex, Eric & Paulie D) who truly encourage and motivate me to keep on going even when its close to the end of the class and I feel exhausted. PIT is truly a gem - worth every second of the 25 minute drive from my home (as many days as I can) to attend these classes in Conshy!

I highly recommend PIT. All you have to do is show up and you are guaranteed to get fit. I also like how each class will workout the entire body. If you are looking for an easy workout, look elsewhere. PIT is tough, but that is exactly what's needed to get into great shape.

I recently found myself in search of a reputable place to train that also felt comfortable for someone who was restarting their fitness journey (which can be intimidating!). Everyone at PIT has been SO kind, helpful, and encouraging. The trainers are knowledgeable and the workouts have really pushed me. It’s cool to be in a space where it feels like everyone is working on being the best version of themselves; it’s contagious. I’m so happy I found PIT.

I have always liked to exercise and believe it’s important to switch up the routine every now and then to optimize your results. I would constantly try new classes/gyms around my house in order to feel I was doing my best, until I found PIT. PIT has challenged me beyond what I thought possible, I primarily take the COED class which combines strength and cardio. I no longer feel it’s necessary to jump around to other classes/gyms in order to get the results I want because PIT continues to challenge me. The owners, Matt and Pat, are genuinely kind and really make everyone feel welcomed and important. I have and continue to highly recommend PIT, because no other workout or gym can compare!

I was introduced to PIT by a friend four years ago while looking for another gym option and have not looked back. It is a truly unique atmosphere. All of the trainers are knowlegeable, patient, and understand everyone is different. But, at the same time, push you to your limitations and beyond. PIT is the best circuit training around. Every class is different and the trainers are awesome. They incorporate things you can’t do at a normal gym like sledgehammer swings, tire flips, and keg walks/slams. Very cool atmosphere with the large garage doors and always have good music to motivate.

Prime Intensity Training is unlike any other gym or group fitness program I have been a part of - and it is why I keep coming back. I have been going to PIT for a little over 3 years now - both taking the various group classes they offer a week and the personal training. The energy that exudes from this gym is like no other. From the trainers to the clients, the motivation is not lost. PIT has found its niche - it welcomes people of all ages and all exercise levels - all with one goal in mind - to get the best, most effective workout of their life. I've been an athlete all of my life, but after coming to PIT, I am in the best shape of my life. You will work hard, you will be pushed, and you will make progress. I've never been around a more welcoming, and encouraging group - I won't go anywhere else! Do yourself a favor and try it out - first two classes are always free!

PIT is exactly what you are looking for in a gym. It's non-traditional, fun, always changing and never boring, and most importantly welcoming.
From the first day, i was welcomed into the fold with open arms. Matt and Pat are fantastic at what they do. They have created a space that is challenging and unique, and have hired people with the same mindset to help them reach their ultimate potential.
Each class is very challenging, and will surely push you to your limit, but the best thing is that while you are in a group setting, you get to focus solely on yourself. Each workout station is all yours for 1 minute or 30 seconds, and no one is forcing you to go harder or faster- you set the pace. You get to push yourself toward your goals, and have the extra push of a group workout at the same time.
PIT personal training sessions are some of the best i have done ANYWHERE. The trainers take the time to listen to your needs, formulate the best and most well-rounded workouts for you to meet your goals, and not miss anything. Each session is a full body workout, and you leave the gym accomplished and wanting more. They are attentive, helpful, focused on your form and improvement, but not pushy or overbearing. They will even help you with nutrition and supplements, and really make you feel like part of the family.
All classes are for any level of fitness, but beginner classes are available to help you get your feet wet, get used to the process, and still challenge you until you are ready for a regular session. The also offer boxing, men and women strength and core classes to supplement your workouts with focused sessions to add that little extra *boom* to your routine.
PIT is unbelievably affordable and so easy to book. You can choose drop in, monthly memberships, class packs with gracious expirations, and their Personal training comes with FREE PIT classes. It can't be beat, anywhere. They have something to fit everyone's needed. Oh, and your first TWO classes are FREE, just in case you weren't sold after the first one!
If you are looking for a gym to do more than have a membership to, check out PIT. If you want to get on a first name basis with the staff, laugh (and sweat) along with other patrons, listen to great music, challenge yourself to be the best you can possibly be, have the most fun you can burning 1000 calories, and truly BELONG to a gym, PIT is for you.
