I’ve been coming to Punch 3 to 4 days a week and I am so happy a friend convinced me to come try a class 2 1/2 years ago. Our morning class is like a family at this point, and we all push one another to get better. Anthony is an amazing coach and my days are always more complete when I start them off sweating at the gym with my friends.

I attended the free class today and it was awesome! The new instructor, Emily, led the first half of the class and she was super encouraging! Anthony led the second half of the class and it was tough but so fun! Would recommend if you are seeking a cardio workout with an uplifting environment!

I really enjoyed my visit to Punch Fitness. Upon arrival I was greeted by Mikaela who helped get me set up with hand wraps and boxing gloves. Coach Trinity gave me a tour of the facilities. She also went over the TRAIN class that I’d be taking which is a Boxing, Strength and Conditioning format.

The class rotated as such:

Rower
Crunches

I work out pretty regularly, and still found this to be challenging but FUN.

I also met the owner Anthony who was very kind & welcoming. Looking forward to returning to try the other classes!

‘Train’ is one of the best full body workouts ever but all the classes are great for any skill level, including people who have never boxed before! going with friends and family is also fun if you want. I took the Fight Class at Punch Fitness with Coach Vanessa, and it was amazing! The workout was intense, and I was dripping in sweat by the end. The music was lit, and the vibe kept me energized the whole time. Coach Vanessa’s instruction was top-notch, and the decor of the studio was super nice! I’ll definitely be going back for more! Highly recommend!

I’ve been going here for maybe a month or month and a half now! LOVE this gym. Not only great staff, but very friendly, makes you feel like family, body positive and diverse. Never feel bad for modifications and they help as needed. Classes are a great full body workout that are upbeat and can cater to different needs. I have a brain condition and after going here consistently so far I have been able to greatly improve my symptoms.

reflecting on my six-week experience at punch, i decided to discontinue my membership primarily due to my personal observations about the owner, anthony. while the rest of the staff demonstrated professionalism and competence, anthony's conduct left much to be desired. there were instances where i felt uncomfortable witnessing his interactions with the staff, which appeared confrontational and demoralizing. moreover, his utilization of video screens near his workstation struck me as peculiar (and almost sexual?) and i couldn't shake off a sense of unease about it. for those considering membership, i believe it's important to be aware of these aspects.

The first time I ever tried kickboxing was here in 2019, and it was so much fun that my now-wife and I signed up to be members and came to classes regularly for a few months. The trainers were extremely personable and the classes were a great mix of fun and challenging. We still have our gear and intend to come back sometime in the future.

I’ve only been going to Punch for a little over a month now and I have to leave since I am relocating to North Carolina. But even in that small amount of time, I felt like I was part of a community. The coaches do a great job explaining the workouts and providing support along the way. Every person at the gym is so nice and welcoming! I’ve been to other gyms (including CrossFit) and it just never made me feel like I “belonged”, but not with Punch! I even got a couple friends to sign up and they love it, too. I highly recommend this gym to anyone that is ready to push themselves and be a part of a gym that is welcoming of everyone!

I started going to Punch in early 2019 as a New Year's resolution to try something new & outside of my "comfort zone" (e.g. working out in a gym). I'd never thrown a punch in my life before going to this gym. The owners and staff at Punch made me feel comfortable immediately. The kickboxing classes I attended were a fantastic workout and increased my energy and confidence in general. The instructors take time to orient you, teach you proper techniques, and ensure you are getting the most out of your workout. I haven't made a full return to the activities I did before COVID, but I'll definitely be back!

Pittsburgh punch has been one of a kind find for fitness in da 'burg. I've tried traditional gyms and consulting (private) health coaches, but none has worked as effectively as this place has. You get a 45-60 min workout which ranges from HIIT to strength. Plus their bonus sessions at times keeps everything interesting. You get to be a self starter, a beast and at the end of the day - boss of your own temple.
Needless to say the price is worth it.

I was reluctant to join when I saw it was a boxing fitness club, but I wanted to try. So, I took their trial lessons and it's 6 months now and I never looked back. They are professional, they make exercise fun, and everyday here is killing, but exciting and very rewarding. Great gym, very welcoming environment for all experience levels. Staff and instructors make the effort to greet you by name and ease you into things.

Variety of classes depending on your fitness focus - cardio, power/strength, and technique. Small to medium class sizes so not crowded, but also lively.

Anthony and the rest of the staff at Pittsburgh Punch are awesome! I was a beginner with no boxing/kickboxing experience and now feel like I could walk into any boxing gym and have the knowledge and techniques to be successful. They offer a multitude of different classes and are always adjusting there classes to try to maximize the workouts and tailor them towards their members. You will sweat and you will work hard, but there is a class for everyone. I was intimidated at the pace at first, but the coaching staff makes it easy to catch on and by my third class I was keeping up. Awesome way to workout and have fun while learning new skills! I've never boxed before or been very athletic.
I was very nervous to start, but once I tried it, I was in. The class structures and movements have the room to modify depending on where you are. I've lost 60lbs and am in the best shape of my life. The equipment, the location, all that stuff is pretty good, but that's not what makes this place great. It's the staff. Even the coaches and instructor's who I've never taken a class from say hello, are willing to help, have a smile. Great place, fantastic people, highly highly highly recommended.

I just finished my first class and it was a lot of fun and a great workout. The coaches were great at making sure I understood and felt comfortable with the combinations and also kept an eye on me during the entire class making sure i wasnt struggling and gave me pointers and corrections when i need them and were very encouraging when I applied the corrections. I am not the healthiest person. I have had multiple surgeries over the past three years which has caused significant weight gain. When I finally got the all clear to try working-out again I decided I needed to find a gym that made exercise exciting and left out the shame culture. After days of researching my husband and I decided to meet Anthony in Feb/Mar 2020. I was so nervous, I had no experience with boxing or this type of training. Anthony and the staff though were amazing! There was no pressure to sign up. None of the typical “you will only get this great deal if you sign up right now”. It was welcoming and refreshing. I think we signed up that night. We only got one class in before Covid but during the shutdown the team kept us well informed and made sure they reopened safely. The staff remembered us after only one class and there was so much encouragement. The other members are supportive and you truly get a great workout while learning boxing techniques. I don’t think we will ever go anywhere else. Also Emily is the best 😁!

I’ve known Anthony for a long time and his attention for detail is something you don’t get out of a coach these days. If you want to train with one of the best striking coaches in Pittsburgh then this is the place for you.

If you’ve never boxed or kick boxed before then you will have to understand that there is a learning phase where the classes will seem like a blur and you don’t know what you are doing half the time. Follow along to the best of your ability or even work with a coach a little before or after the class to get the technique down. Your success is fueled by your own effort. You can’t blame anyone but yourself if you don’t put in the work.

Put in the work at this gym and you won’t regret it.

My daughter, now ten years old has been boxing with Coach Anthony since she was eight. For two years now she can not wait for her personal training days with Anthony each week. Pittsburgh Punch has become my home away from home for the past two and a half years. Where to begin...well I guess I’ll start with the bald instructor “motivating” me by yelling in my face. Loud screaming, insults, and making me feel ashamed about my body (I am a tad overweight) is really what I want to hear when I try to get back into working out. I should also talk about the pricing. WOW it’s expensive. I am not sure who can afford this place. But I guess some people like paying money to get yelled at. Definitely won’t be me. I highly do not recommend this place.

The Pittsburgh Punch family immediately treats you like part of their own family. I originally reached out to the owner Anthony to host a charity class for Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest for Cystic Fibrosis, and he went above and beyond to help me host my biggest event! If you love to punch and kick stuff, oh I almost forget to mention SWEAT, then this is the place for you. I've been going for about 7 weeks and can't think of doing any other workout!

By far one of the best gyms I have been to. If you are new to boxing, the employees are sure to get you setup and go over the basics before class starts. If you have been boxing before, then you can just hop in the class.

The workouts are so great and incorporate boxing with regular circuit workouts. There are multiple different types of classes to choose from.

The people who work there and the people who attend the classes are all super nice. It's not intimidating at all and everyone is willing to help or explain things.

The gym is very clean and has everything you could need. They have cubicles to keep your stuff in so you don't have to worry about bringing a lock for a locker!

10/10 would recommend this gym!

I've been in a number of gyms and training centers, and Pittsburgh Punch is at the top of my list of favorites. The space is large, well-equipped, well-lit, and clean.

The people are very friendly. Beginners are welcomed and get as much one-on-one help as they need to learn the techniques - nobody feels helpless there for very long. The instructors are both knowledgable and really good at teaching what they know - a rare combination.

If you walk in with experience in boxing or kickboxing, you can jump right in to the workouts and push yourself as hard as you like. There's a nice variety to the workouts - no two classes are exactly alike, so boredom isn't an issue. People work hard and have fun doing it.

This place was a great find!!!! It's an amazing beautiful facility. Very well laid out with lots of bag variety. Anthony was very welcoming at our first FREE Punch class. He was very kind and didn't pressure us into becoming members (unlike I love Kickboxing) He was very helpful and instructive during the class. I didn't feel uncomfortable or out of place. We loved it so much, my husband and I became members the next day. There are SOOOOO many different varieties of classes, from punch, to pad classes to full on circuit workouts. All instructors are so kind and welcoming. Sheri teaches great classes and is always so helpful with instructing you on your form and how to improve. We have been to about 6 classes now and we are hooked!!! Well priced with amazing instructors that really know what they are doing. I Highly recommend trying this facility out. You WONT regret it.

If you’re looking for an amazing workout that pushes you past your comfort zone (in a good way) look no further! From the environment to the coaches, Pittsburgh Punch gets a 5/5! Their coaches and friendly and motivating, while always making sure you are learning the correct form. You don’t ever feel silly asking for help if you don’t know the right method. I’ve taken their beginner punch class and the circuit class. I loved both of them! I got such an amazing workout doing the circuits. It was the first time I tried that kind of workout, so I was a little bit nervous but after Sibe went over the moves with me before class started I felt much more confident. The gym is clean and every single person that works there is extremely friendly. The owner is always there and he treats everyone like family. I have always been intimidated by going to a “gym”. I tried a competitor which showed me how much I liked boxing but was turned off by the cliques that formed and I wasn’t part of one since I didn’t fit the mold of tall and thin. Pittsburgh Punch shatters all those misconceptions. All the instructors are amazing. They provide encouragement in such a positive manner that they make me want to work harder - I don’t want to let them down! Pittsburgh Punch is located in the same building as crossfit where I work out. I was impressed with the equipment and the general feel over @ Pittsburgh Punch. I get to overhear and watch the coaches train groups and individuals and see why people make gains over there. One day I'll take the leap from my crossfit comfort over there to beat up some bags.

I went with a friend today for a trial class of abs/kickboxing. This kind of class experience was new for both of us, although, we both lift and do cardio on a regular basis. The environment was friendly and non-intimidating. Our instructor was not over bearing, but, provided the right amount of feedback. This was a judgement free zone- everyone was focused on their own workouts- not judging mine. My workout was not only challenging but fun. I will definitely return.

This was my first experience with boxing and kickboxing and I have to say it has been awesome! The instructors [I've had Sheri and Anthony] are so personable and made me feel very welcome. So far I have taken the TKO classes and the Kick Fit [which says cardio, but really it's just focusing on the more technical side of your kicks/punches/form.] You can take the classes at your own pace and really everyone is so focused on their own stations, that no-one [except for the instructor] pays attention to you in class. Also, If you are on the fence, just sign up for a class- your first class is free and there's no pressure to buy a membership package.

Tonight I went to my very first kickboxing class and I was kinda nervous but I loved every min of it. Kristen was so wonderful and I loved how positive she was. Best workout I've had in months! After playing field hockey for four years in college I'm used to intense workouts and pushing myself but it can be really hard to do that in a regular gym. I gave the TKO Women's Boxing Class a shot and absolutely loved it! Pretty sure people thought I was crazy because I was smiling the whole time but damn, I had such a blast! I signed up for the Women's TKO Boxing Class and had a great experience!! I really enjoyed this class because we went to each station individually, and if you needed help you received it one on one. There weren't men standing around watching you, or other girls trying to prove that they were better than you. I think that because I enjoyed it so much, the hour went by so fast! Having had two left shoulder surgeries, there was one station that I was not able to do, but I was quickly given an alternative workout for that station. The whole time there was that voice in the background telling us how bad ass we were, and to keep it going, it helped me to want to keep up and finish with everything that I had left in me. I was def sore the next few days but it felt great! I hope to make this class part of my weekly routine!! Great instructor, and a great environment!

I enrolled in the TKO women's only boxing class and I have never loved a workout class more!
My entire body is sore by the end of the class, yet it goes by so quickly 1 hour seems like 20 minutes!
The best part about it, is that the class is divided up in stations that last 1 min and 30 seconds and because I knew nothing about boxing before starting this class, I wasn't constantly comparing myself to what everyone else is doing. You end up being so focused on your station that you don't have the time or energy to look around at what everyone else is doing. I was worried I would be judged about my skill level or lack there of and it was such a relief that no one other than the instructor was watching me.
The instructor was so encouraging and sweet! She gives postive reinforcement the whole and class and teaches you how to punch and kick without losing patience because you are a beginner. She makes you feel comfortable learning and makes you want to work harder!

I started training with Warriors Fitness in July and have seen a real change in the way I look and feel. The workouts are fun and fast paced. The instructors are incredible! They really know what they are doing but even more so they are people that you want to be friends with! If you have some aggression to get out you can be sure when the hour is up that you have been put through a workout to get all of that out. Its the most fun I have had working out! Everyone I have met so far at Warrior's Fitness has been very friendly and kind. I was a little intimidated at first, but the staff put me at ease very quickly and I never felt like I had to be a pro, but they would help get me there if that's what I wanted (no way!). Anthony has taken me through some grueling workouts that were just the right pace for me. I'm looking forward to trying out a few classes. I have heard from a few of the other people I have met there that they are a fantastic workout, as well. I started taking the TKO Boxing Class with Sheri a couple of weeks ago and I love it! This is the first time I've ever done a boxing class, and it's been so much fun. It's the best work out I think I've ever had. It's a serious challenge, but it's something you CAN do. There's great music and Sheri is such a great instructor and motivator. She really encourages you to push yourself and you never feel intimidated or uncomfortable. But you do leave feeling like you've had an incredible workout... and you'll feel it for days to come! Before you know it, your hour is up, and you wish you could do another.

Being an athlete in my younger years and trying to find new and fun ways to stay fit as I age I decided to give Anthony a try about 3+ years ago. I was bored with the typical weightlifting / bodybuilding routines and needed a new challenge...so I took up boxing and kickboxing. Honestly it is the most fun and most grueling workouts I've done in years. Coach is well versed within the MMA styles and his crosstraining is no slouch either. I usually end my sessions by threatening his life since I can hardly move when my time is up, yet I come back for more every time. I wish I would have found this when I was 15 instead of 36. No plans on stopping...
