Three years ago I realized I wanted to move away from the one-size-fits-all gym model and find something that actually fit me. I wanted real guidance, individualized workouts, and support to prevent injury — not just another group class or impersonal gym.
Working with Michael has been a total game-changer. He customized a program around my body type, age, goals, and lifestyle. He pushes me in the best way — challenging but supportive — and I’ve seen results I never thought I’d get at this stage of life. I’ve gained muscle, gotten so much stronger, and the changes in my tone and overall physique are noticeable (and honestly, exciting!).
I love the one-on-one training, but also the fact that he builds individualized workouts for the days I train on my own. The facility is always clean, organized, and welcoming — I actually feel confident working out both with Michael and independently.

My experience with this gym has been deeply disappointing due to ongoing billing and cancellation issues. Despite speaking directly with the owner and returning my keys, my account continued to be charged for several months afterward.
This pattern of behavior suggests a lack of transparency and accountability in their membership management practices. While the gym’s facilities may be adequate, the administrative side of the business reflects poorly on the organization as a whole.

Q Fitness is an excellent local gym that has a wide variety of cable machines, free weights, and cardio equipment. The facility is well maintained and the equipment is always in good working order. If you are looking for personal training, I would highly recommend Gar. He is very knowledgeable in body mechanics and how specific exercises work to improve your overall fitness or to support recovery from injury.

Came recommended by my boss. Needed to transition away from PT. Was bit nervous but that was short lived 😃
From second met Mike, for my sessions I was at ease impressed and having medical background myself last 15 years could tell he knew his anatomy lol!!
He is the real deal!! Knows his stuff, practices what he preaches and sees you as “Individual” not some “cookie cutter” program.
Made a program for my body type and prior injury history. That alone was unique and impressive. I saw he takes safety first and foremost.
He has me doing things already I would never have thought I could do, lifting weights I didn’t think I could.
Few weeks in and see and feel the difference already, look forward to continuing with Mike, and regaining my strength and toning.
He really is a hidden treasure, I would not have found this gym or Mike, had it not been for word of mouth. I’m so lucky I found this place, and someone like Mike, who has medical background and truly loves fitness!
Have family joining now too! 24/7, clean, and filled with great machines, even uni lateral machines.

I was in the area for a little over a month and was looking for a gym that would let me do a one month membership. I called a few chains first and they gave me the run around about it. I found Q Fitness and The owner Mike is a super nice, down to earth guy and was more than happy to accommodate and I was extremely excited to hear that it’s also a 24/7 gym since my hours can be pretty crazy sometimes requiring me to go very early in the morning occasionally.
The gym itself is awesome. I love a lot of the equipment, especially leg press, hack squat, specialty barbells like cambered Bench bar, chain attachments and much more. The gym is pretty low key usually when I’d be there (in the range of 5 am to 11 am usually) which was also really nice. The gym goers are all very friendly also.
Overall, highly, highly recommend Q Fitness! If I’m working in the area again I will 100% be back!

Q fitness is a great gym to work out at. Mike is very knowledgeable and can assist with personal workouts or any questions that you have while working out on your own. Amazing trainer from a personalized gym, helping others to achieve extraordinary results!!!
I will start by saying I hate going to the gym. I hate cardio, lifting weights, really just about any form of exercise. However, my doctor said I needed to change my habits or she would put me on medication. So, I decided to invest in myself and that journey started with Mike- who is both the trainer and the owner of the gym.
I was super unenthusiastic, but I also didn’t want to follow in the footsteps of my parents poor health. I tried most of the more popular diets, and while it was usually a temp fix that worked for a couple of months, none ever stuck and I would gain the weight back.
I previously tried several trainers, but Mike was unlike anyone I have ever worked with. He made exercise tolerable, kept me motivated, and I felt as though he was truly invested in my success. He respected my exercise boundaries (due to injuries), and seriously changed my life.
After one year of working with Mike, I followed up with my doctor, who said I had tremendous improvement. I lost 60 pounds, dropped my overall cholesterol by 43 points, and dropped my triglycerides by almost 50%. Not only did Mike help me change my physical appearance (literally halving my dress size), but he helped change the inside as well (both physically and mentally).
To lose weight, I always thought I had to make myself miserable by going on a diet and doing obscene amounts of cardio. I achieved the above results without having to do either- and it feels amazing. While I had to put in the effort to get here, I couldn’t have done it without Mike’s guidance. He is flexible, understands how to train different age ranges and fitness levels, and was able to manage my many crazy idiosyncrasies.
Even if you don’t need a trainer, the gym is fantastic. It is like a hidden gem, and has everything you need. You can access it at any time, there is no overcrowding and it feels like a personalized gym. People from all fitness levels and age ranges attend, and it is overall a great atmosphere because there is no judgment or competition. It also meets the needs for both my husband and I, with machines and lighter weights for me, and an "iron palace" of heavier weights for him. Mike is usually around with a friendly face, encouragement and always willing to help people out.
If you are serious about making a change, Mike will help you get there. Not only does his guidance work, but it is sustainable, which is far better than anything else I have tried.
I have more energy to spend with my kids, and my husband and I have a stronger connection. Perhaps one of the best compliments I received was from my young daughter, who said I want to be strong like mom with big muscles. To be clear, I don’t really have big muscles, but she can tell I’m stronger and I enjoy setting a good example of a healthy lifestyle for my children.
I owe this change to Mike, and my family and I will forever be grateful for the positive impact he has made!

We were visiting family, we're from NY, thought the gym was very nice from what we saw online so we called and inquired about coming for the day. My girlfriend spoke to Mike on the phone and he told us we could come workout. He said it was $10 a person for a day pass. He explained the different free weights and equipment they had and told us we could come.
So we drove there, took us 20 mins to drive there. We showed up and realized the place was locked up, there was a kiosk for signing in for members. We thought it was weird that we spoke to Mike on the phone and he didn't explain any of that. We then proceeded to wait for the next 20 mins in the lobby calling waiting to figure out how to get in touch with Mike. No one would answer. Eventually a member exited the gym and we asked them is there anyone in there? The member said Mike had left 40 mins ago and wasn't there. The gym member was very kind and even texted the employee for us about the situation. After 5 mins we heard nothing back and decided to leave.
So essentially we had wasted 20 mins driving to the gym, we had spoken to them on the phone to inquire and figure out everything before coming and this employee had just decided to waste our time and leave. We had limited time because we had plans with family so we had to leave and had no time to find another place to workout. We wasted over 40 minutes driving and over 20 trying to get in touch with the employee.
We weren't able to workout and wasted time and money to go there. My girlfriend and I are very into working out and do not like missing workouts. This was a horrible experience and very disappointing. If you're from out of state visiting.......stay away!!! Regardless of what the staff say on the phone you will be wasting your time.

This is a wonderful "hidden gem" of sorts. If you're sick of the big box gym experience and are looking for a trainer that knows their stuff, this is it. It's a smaller gym, but has all of the basics plus some specialized gear you won't see anywhere else. I never had to wait for a machine or weight bench. Payments and managing your account couldn't be easier, and having 24/7 access is a huge perk. Mike is an excellent trainer, and ironed out some of my biggest fitness questions in my first session. It's definitely a gym for people serious about their training, but it still feels very accessible at the same time. It's definitely worth stopping in to see if it's a good fit for you.

I've been going to QFitness for over a year for training sessions with Mike. I can't say enough good things about both the place and the trainer. I've been a member since 2008: It's like having your own private gym. Limited membership, always clean, equipment is awesome and well maintained. There's a large variety of cardio plus machines and free weights; perfect combination, 24-hour access is a plus. The Personal Training is unparalleled.
I started training with Mike in 2008 to continue injury rehabilitation after Physical Therapy. I had tried everything without success and was about to give up until I found Mike; he gave me hope. With his background in PT and years of experience, I was able to avoid neck surgery as a result of his tailored strength training. As a healthcare professional, I was intrigued by the healing power of strength training and I wanted to learn more so I could help others. I completed a Personal Trainer certification course and internship, and today I am grateful to be helping others achieve their fitness goals. I continue to workout following the customized training program Mike gave me and I still feel great!

Q Fitness is an absolutely great no nonsense GYM. Its perfectly sized and has just about every PROFESSIONAL piece of equipment you need to gets results and that they are always available and rarely if ever broken due to people not caring, like at the big box gyms. Also I personally want to thank both Mike and Marianne as with out them I would have plateau in working out and eating right on my own and never would have seen the results I have now!
Just over 1 year ago I was at my heaviest at a size 42 waist (and it was tight to button) in roughly 6 months time Mike Quarto (the man when it comes to trainers) got me down from a loose 42 inch ( after doing 6 months working out on my own) waist to now i can barely fit into a 38in pair of pants with out needing a belt to keep them up. Also I had never ran over 3 miles in less then 30 min, but with the work Mike been pushing me to do, I just recently did a 8.43 min a mile (rough 27min 5k run).
As for Marianne I also want to thank her for the guidance on how to eat threw out the day. Just even simple basic understanding I know contributed to me loosing weight and it shows!
These 2 ARE THE real deal, they will not blow smoke up your backside just to make a dollar, Mike and Marianne both are out for your well being and will always go the extra mile to help make your hard work pay off and the best part is that they make it fun to go there.

I started training at Q Fitness in March. That got the ball rolling for me. Since then I have been going regularly, I have been getting better nutrition and walking at lunch. With the advice of my doctor and my training with Mike I've been able to drop 4 prescription medications and my overall health has vastly improved. I began training with Mike almost a year ago and have seen dramatic results. Before meeting Mike, I was convinced I had all the answers in the gym. Boy, was I wrong!
