Don't waist your time the on-line membership is deceptive and no comparison to what Planet Fitness offers. Unless it is logistically prohibitive Planet Fitness will be the better option.

Not a bad gym, the only thing that bothered me while being a member was being removed from a good chunk of the gym while there were group exercises. Normally, this wouldn’t bother me and I used to participate in group exercises so they are nice to have but being that two of their main cable machines and some other equipment resides in that area (which weren’t being used) was frustrating to deal with. But the shakes were always good and nice to have at the end of a work out.

I like this place but I wish they played the music a little lower. Most people have headphones anyway so I don't understand why the music is so loud. You almost have to turn the volume on your phone all the way up to be able to hear whatever you're listening to.

Went here for a couple years for retro fit classes and group classes. All the trainers are great and knowledgeable.
I used the babysitting service weekly; however, one of the front desk staff members embarrassed and upset my older daughter as well as was saying inappropriate things in front of the children in the playroom and cursing. I will never take my children back there again and cancelled my membership.

This place is cool to work out at. You never get tired of coming back and the place is very clean and never messy. They have tons of equipment to help gain muscle and lots of treadmills to run or walk on. Everyone is freindly here and answer any questions you have pertaining to how to make your time easier here.

Joined here about a month and a half ago. Lots of great equipment, really friendly staff, really nice place. I used to go to planet fitness and since i joined retro i haven’t been back to planet:). Been getting great workouts here. They have good cardio equipment also. 👍👍

After a little over a year at this gym I pulled my membership. This place is notorious for their cancellation policy. Essentially they require a lot of notice and get a few more months of payment out of you while you await your cancellation. Make sure you send a certified letter as per your contract and keep a copy. You must do this, otherwise you may not have your membership cancelled. I think their cancellation policy is outrageous and ridiculous but, I signed it and agreed. Don't be fooled by the mid year 40.00 'maintenance charge'. It's technically not 19.99 a month because mid yr you'll get billed separately for this maintenance charge which they can raise at their discretion. So when you average this out per month, you're not paying 19.99. Every year you will be charged this mid yr fee, so beware.

I've been a member of many gyms and met really nice people and still have friendships I obtained from previous gyms. Retro is not that gym. Some of the rudest and unfriendly people under one roof. In my time there I had maybe a handful of conversations from members. I know it's not a social club but this is also not a library. It's more of a 'meat head' gym than your local Y. If you want a gym to make friends, this place is not it.

This gym has a back section for free weights which is always hot and crowded. The temperature is not consistent with the rest of the gym. The gym is very clean and the equipment is newer and updated. It wasn't a typical for a machine to be under construction, but this isn't a negative since these machines were checked and fixed.

The juice bar was a nice bonus and the shakes were very addictive. My complaints stem more from my experiences being there more than the physical gym and equipment.

The staff was pleasant and always nice to me.

The staff here is made up of great people. My buddy and I asked for a trap bar and within a few weeks it was there. It's great to have a staff that listens to suggestions and takes the time to talk with you. After having been to a few different gyms before this, it's rare to see such a supportive group of people behind the counter.

I have been coming to this gym ever since they opened and I don't think it's possible for me to ever leave. I absolutely adore everyone who works at this gym. They make you feel like a part of the family. I come here during the afternoon hours almost every day and I feel like I have the whole gym to myself. I have visited countless gyms in the past few years with friends and nothing compares to the cleanliness of this gym. They keep everything in check and I see nothing but smiles from all the employees throughout the day. If you are serious about working out and you want to find a gym that makes you feel like you're at home, definitely sign up to this gym. Chris, Scott, Bud, Christina, Sarah, Sierra, Dave and Em are all super amazing individuals and you can tell that they love what they do. 5 stars across the board!!!

Nice Gym. A little small, needs a sauna. Busy hours are like any other gym, around 6-8 PM. Needs an additional squat rack, There is only one, but again, there is just no more room for two. I guess my only complaint is the size.

I love every aspect of the gym: dumbbells go up to 120lbs. And they have Expresso Bike machines. Great place to work out. Personally, I've lost 40lbs in 9 months. It's totally worth a $20 fee per month. Much better than Planet Fitness, if you are serious about working out!

Good gym but EVERYONE AND I MEAN EVERYONE HATES THE HOURS. Ive never seen so many people trash on a gym like the new falls rd one. Simply up your hours to at least 9pm on Saturdays and im hoping i dont hear how many people want to burn this spot to the ground. Terrible.

I am so disappointed with this gym and customer service is horrible. Please think twice before you sign the paper because you are about to be a victim of a major financial crime. I REPEAT, DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM. everything was good until I tried to cancel my personal training membership. I have been trying to get the withdrawals stopped from my account for several months. They just don't seem to be able to remove me from their billing system. They continued to charge my account even after my membership ended. They refused to give me a refund for services I did not received. I've had to resort to disputing charges from this gym with my card company. I am going to have to close my account in order to get it stopped. Save yourself the troubles and don’t join their club. They are dishonest, fraudulent and I will not recommend them. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. So be aware. Their cancellation practice is as difficult as possible to make sure they can sucker you for all they can.
