Due to the Retro Fitness I go to was closed down so patrons were offered to transfer to the 2nd Street Pike location. I was met immediately at the counter by a trainer who gave me a brief tour and got me acquainted with the equipment. It's a shame my other place closed but at least I know this location very good.

My trainer Nick has been great over the last year and a half with helping me reach my weight loss goals. Very friendly staff and the movie theater makes cardio workouts fly by! I recommend this gym for sure. 👍

Not a bad gym. It has the basic equipment a gym needs. They need to add some more flat screens. There is a lot of wasted space. Jackie the new manager is doing a great job. Hopefully she gets the support to make changes. Please buy a hack squat. Austin is a beast!

The front desk employees are professional, courteous & friendly on the phone and in person. They are prompt to respond to my request to register for a class by phone when I am unable to do so via the Retro app.

Many of the Trainers I’ve met and worked with have all been very friendly as well as focused throughout the sessions. They are patient with me (beginner) and answer all my questions & have taught me many things that will improve my overall fitness goal.

I also thoroughly enjoy the classes offered, especially Pound & Zumba! The instructors are fun, engaged, energetic, & above all, keep the class motivated with their choreography & music selections! They are sincere in their desire to help us on our path to healthy living!

They play the typical health club games with the contracts and applying promotions in ways that benefit themselves the most so always read the fine print. Otherwise, the facility is clean and spacious and the equipment is newer and well maintained.

I went in to cancel my membership. The guy working at the counter said okay, I might have to sign something else when a manager is in, but all good since I’m moving. I left. Never came back. 8 months later I have a credit collector calling me asking for $200. I cannot believe Retro wouldn’t call me first. Now I have a hit on my credit score when I’m in the process of purchasing a home.

Would give zero if I could. Spin class is why I joined and is very cliquey, good luck getting a bike. If you do other women will say comments of how their friend couldn’t attend.
Personal training doesn’t care about financial changes in the year to even adjust amount of sessions.
This place doesn’t care about the members all they care about is you “year contact”.

I just joined ( came from B & R) and so far so good.. Clean and everything seems to work. Shower head was broken . Fixed with in a few days .
