Kim went to unrealistic competitions. she would fat shame me when i was only 4 when she knew that i had some serious health issues.she would tell me that i would never get half the skills i have now. she would attack me and make fun of me to my own mother she said and i quote “she is a disgrace to teach and an embarrassment to the studio” that ruined my self worth to an all time low. she said some disgusting comments about me to anyone who would listen i hated every second i was there. not to mention the 3 times she sued us for unpaid competition fees even though my mom paid for everything upfront and we were already kicked out by then we also never got our money back for the things we didn’t get. truly a disgusting cold blooded unlawful woman. she still attacks me but i don’t care anymore. but the damage she caused me that im still struggling with can never be forgiven. she made me lose any ounce of love for dance i had but luckily i still dance and i have my love for it back. PLEASE TRUST ME DONT TAKE YOUR KIDS THERE YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I take the aerial yoga class with my daughter. I am overweight and out of shape. This class is challenging and wonderful! I have bursitis in my shoulder and the stretches and routines have decreased my pain level. Miss Kim is a fantastic teacher!

If I could give a negative review I would. This psycho women held my daughter down for almost the entire class and is insane. She’s too stressed out to deal with all of these children. I almost pressed charges. 8 other moms witnessed her do this! My daughter has medial issues. I’m disgusted. Don’t go here I’m not exaggerating. And my daughter went ONE time it was a test class to see if she would like it. Look at the review before you pick an activity for your child and make sure you know what is going on at that activity.

UPDATE. NO LADY YOU PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED MY THEN 3YR OLD DAUGHTER WHO HAS HIP DYSPLASIA AND HAD SURGERY ON HER FOOT. THE LORD IN HEAVEN WILL DEAL WITH YOU.

My daughter went to SLSOD for two years with no issue. I was involved and helped and my daughter enjoyed dancing. This past year, she was less interested in dancing. She was enrolled but quickly realized she did not want to dance anymore. I shared this information with Kim and she became insistent that we revisit the studio to try and convince my daughter to dance. My daughter was in tears at the thought of going back, but Kim would not respect our decision to leave. I had paid hundreds of dollars in anticipation of being with the studio for the season, but my daughter only attended a single class. I let Kim know that we were done and that I would like a refund. She denied my refund and could only offer studio credit (of five cents) although I had no intention of returning EVER.

She is great to work with as long as you do what she wants. Once you have a problem, or wish to separate from the studio, it is a HUGE hassle. In her words, she is "godly."

Be warned when dealing with this studio. She asks her favorite moms to write positive reviews to flood out the true negative reviews.

We are extremely proud and happy with all that Sandra Lynn school of dance has to offer my daughter. My child is almost 16 and loves to go to dance to learn this fine art The teachers here are caring and are very well tuned into each student. We have been at this studio since the age of 3 and have no intention on going anyplace .

She does free trial classes so you aren’t just paying for something your child doesn’t like&& there are more than one! My daughter is entering her third year of dance at Sandra Lynn's. I can't say enough good things about this dance studio. Sandra Lynn’s is the absolute best! My daughter began taking classes here a little over a year ago, and she has learned so much! The staff are really knowledgeable and skilled and very patient with the kids! They make it fun, and my daughter looks forward to going to class every week! My experience at this dance school for the past 15 years has been amazing!! My Granddaughter has learned so much, and made her such a beautiful dancer! Miss Kim has all of the patience in the world from 3 year olds, to 18 year olds! She is so talented and really helps your children succeed! My Granddaughter won many trophies and awards!! Miss Sandy is so talented and one of the best tap teachers you would ever see, from young all the way through the end!! This year the dance review was so amazing it was hard to believe that some of these students weren’t professional’s!! My daughter started dancing at SLSD at the age of 3 years old. She just finished her senior year in 2022. What an amazing experience!!! I was searching for a dance school that focused on all aspects of dance including the correct dance terminology with a strong focus on ballet. This studio teaches proper technique and offers so many styles of dance. They make being on the competitive dance team fun and although their team often wins and comes out on top. They celebrate all the wins and personal growth of each child, rather than focusing all the attention to the best dancer in the group. I highly recommend giving them a try. They often offer a free dance classes to try. I'm so glad my daughter had the experience she did at this studio.

I have been with SLSD since 2002. My daughter graduated this year. The studio has always been great with technique. My girls learned a lot of life lessons growing up at the studio. Kim is very accommodating with schedules; especially when the girls are older and other activities pop up. They can still get an advanced training.,

The Greensburg studio is centrally located with good parking. Miss Sandy and Miss Kim are great dance teachers who care for their students. My daughter learned important basic dance lessons with which she grew her technical knowledge and skills. Students have the opportunity to learn from master dance teachers who come into the studio!!

I’ve been dancing with SLSD since I could barely walk. I’ve tried different studios but ultimately came back to Kim and Sandy’s because of their welcoming environment, flexible schedule, and great technique training. If you want to be a great technical dancer this is the studio for you. They offer a lot of different opportunities and classes for the rec team and competitive team as well. Sandy is a fantastic teacher and always seeks out the best staff along with Kims great help. You really do get a great dance foundation here. At this studio it’s not about who’s the best or that winning and coming out on top is everything. Kim and Sandy really operate by that. I would recommend to anyone who’s looking to try out dancing.

PLEASE do your research- your child is trusting you to do this. You are promised the moon and the stars- and you are expected to pay for it.....this is only received the first year! My daughter joined SLSD at 3-years-old and danced here through 4th grade. Due to a change in life circumstances, we needed to switch studios, but SLSD remained in our hearts. My daughter received a solid foundation in dance technique. In August, my daughter will enter Slippery Rock University as a dance major (BFA in Dance). Miss Sandy, Miss Kim, Miss Michelle, and all her teachers at SLSD helped to mold my daughter into the beautiful dancer she is today. I had a really good experience here growing up, but cut my dance career short due to teachers who are no longer associated with the studio. I really wish I hadn’t. Michelle has such an awesome creative eye when it comes to choreography. Sandy is an awesome at “cleaning” dances and correcting mistakes, especially tap. Kim is good with the little ones. They make everyone feel included & comfortable regardless of age, ability, etc.

I called 4 days ago to ask questions to sign my daughter up for dance, phone rang twice and straight to voice mail. This past year was my daughter's first year. She loved it so much that she doesn't want to stop. She practices all the time at home and I am so impressed with what she has learned. Paid in full for a year of dance because we were told that the price would be discounted. Was never informed that they do not issue refunds. 5 classes in, we realized that our toddler was simply too young and was not really participating. We requested a refund for the classes not taken and was told "we dont give refunds!" Needless to say, when she is ready for dance, we will not be back!
