I've been going to Schoolhouse Yoga off and on for 15 years. The teachers are knowledgeable, kind, compassionate and know how to bring humor into the classroom as well. Highly recommended!

I completed my yoga teacher training here in 2023, and all of the instructors were outstanding! Schoolhouse offers a wide range of classes (including hybrid options) to accommodate many body types, interests and schedules. They're also very welcoming to new students. I highly recommend checking them out!

I was in Pittsburgh for the week visiting friends - was looking for a class to keep up my practice while away from home. Found Schoolhouse and took a class with Lainey - what a treat! Clean space, free rentals, thoughtful instruction. Great attention and modifications to my form that will improve my practice going forward. Would highly recommend to all!!!

I have practiced with Schoolhouse yoga teachers for more than 20 years. They are professional, knowledgeable, and embody what yoga teachers should be. Also, a wide variety of classes are available. Lots of props on hand in their clean yoga studio spaces. Have attended classes at East Liberty, Sq Hill, but not North Hills.

My wife and I signed up for a class with babies, and it was a great experience. Their staff was super friendly and patient with us. The East Liberty location is a good place for people living in Squirrel Hill, Shadyside, and nearby areas, but even if you live in the suburbs, you can get there in 20 minutes.

I like both the east liberty location as well as the Squirrel Hill one. Schoolhouse has got a good variety of instructors and classes. Plus the website works well, the class schedules are up to date and buying class passes is super easy.

Just finished there Teacher Training Program. It was the most comprehensive and well informed program I have heard of. The teachers are experienced, well informed, and actual practitioners. I could not give the program a higher recommendation.

A great, friendly studio with some of the best teachers I've encountered in 20 years of practice. Special namaskars to Becky Mingo, Linda Meacci, Mita Ghosal, and Laura Stamm, each of whom infuses some of her soul into her classes and introduces variety even into the ashtanga sequence.

This is a fantastic yoga studioβ€”teachers are great, pay structure is super reasonable, and the studios are kept at a comfortable temp. It's everything I had been searching for in a yoga studio in Pittsburgh. I've been to Yoga 1 with Eva on Tuesdays and Alyssa on Mondays. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a welcoming yoga studio that's not all about hot yoga.

A variety of styles are taught here, and the teachers are consistently excellent. Yin yoga with Karleen is luxuriously relaxing, and Richard's classes are a fun and challenging.

Monique is fantastic. Versed in kinesiology/muscles/body mechanics in general. I'll definitely be taking more of her classes!

I had an amazing experience at the Strip District location. I was in-town for a wedding and snuck off to a Saturday morning Gentle Yoga class with Jonathan. The studio was lovely, the people were incredibly welcoming, and it turned out to be one of my favorite yoga experiences. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The Intro to Ashtanga Yoga with Leta is highly recommended. She is a lovely example of yama and niyama in action and delicately weaves the precepts into her teaching. It is among the best I've experienced at integrating a bit of all eight limbs into a class format.
