I’m 32 years old with a Lupus diagnosis- before coming to PoohJan I lost strength in both my legs, lost mobility in my right arm, and had nerve damage in my left foot causing me to be off work for 9 weeks & never returning full-time. I was super discouraged, lost, confused, and helpless (literally). I decided maybe it was time to stop feeling so sorry for myself & hire someone to help me get my strength back.. I googled searched and found PoohJan- I seen his 5 star ratings & read his reviews so I reached out.

I started this journey with PoohJan 8 weeks ago & it has been nothing short of amazing! From day one PoohJan not only heard my struggles he observed and made my training specifically what would work for my body. The results speak for themselves! Poojan is quite literally the best train you will find in the area. He is very personable and professional. He will show you how to stretch muscles you didn’t even know existed. He will show you exercises to strengthen you or help you fit into those Jeans in the back of your closet you haven’t worn in years. I met Poojan in Miami at a seminar having to do with personal training. The event was very hands on and for one exercise I was working with Poojan and I was telling him about my shoulder issues and how I can’t do a pull up nor a chin up. I’ve known Poojan for a few months now and see him training multiple clients a day with full energy and charisma. I never actually trained with him until yesterday and let me tell you, it is no joke. As someone who weight lifts and does cardio about 6 days a week, I thought I could get through this workout feeling pretty confident, but this training kicked my butt in the BEST way possible. Poojan is there to push you and encourage you to keep going when it feels super hard and you’re about to give up. I also had the most fun working out in a while cause I got to do it with another one of his clients. If you’re thinking about doing this with a partner, DO IT. I have personally been in the gym environment over 6 years and have had the pleasure to be around Poojan for 2 of them. While I have never personally trained with him I remain confident he is the best trainer I have seen in Lancaster PA. It is great to have him around my gym, he is quick with a solution to any physical problem or question I have and is an asset to have around the gym.

Poojan has an extreme and clear desire to keep growing his business and himself, he is always learning. It is common to see him in the Foundry training daily. He remains hungry.

I have noticed his attention to detail when training and his precision with his clients. I have seen a lot of trainers who do not care, or pay attention to their clients. Poojan is the complete opposite and is locked in with every single client I have seen him working with (a lot of clients) and is doing the right thing in our gym community.

I recommend Poojan 100% as he provides a unique mobility and strength program I have not found to be common around. I have seen notable progress in a lot of his clients as well.

Seeing him daily we have built a good bond personally and I am very excited for what the future holds, it looks very bright.

I set out with lofty goals looking to drop about 15 pounds, while continuing to add strength, get a more defined body, and get more explosive as an athlete because I play football. I came across Poojan and he laid out a detailed workout plan for me to achieve all of my goals in just three months, which sold me. While working with him just three times a week for three hours total across the three months, I not only achieved all of my goals ahead of schedule, but I surpassed them all. If you’re looking for results, Poojan is your guy.

I have been training with Shah Athletics for just over two months and am extremely happy with the training and the results. Poojan really knows his stuff, is always on top of things, and keeps me motivated. I can't say enough good things about it and even after just two months can already see and feel the difference. So many of the everyday aches and pains I used to have are gone and mentally I have benefited as well. It has been worth every dollar!

Update - I completed 6 months of training with Shah Athletics and wow what a difference! My strength, stamina, and mobility has increased significantly and I look and feel so much better than I did before. I was the first online client Poojan has onboarded and I have to say; it was quite a smooth process. The app “trainerize” is essentially is its own trainer and has full workout plans with explanations and video demonstrations showing how you to properly activate the specific muscle group you are working out. Throughout these first 3 months I have seen a significant strength gain and notable weight loss. Any question that I’ve had has been answered by Poojan which is great given that he’s completely busy his entire week due to having a full in person client schedule. This man helped me get back on my feet, I took the “forbidden pre-workout” he likes to say. After the summer within 2 months of me failing at starting my career and losing my girl at the time I started eating and smoking my feelings away and kind of kept God on the back burner, once he provided me with a job I jumped at the chance to improve myself since I was able to invest some money into myself. I got a membership at the foundry and started working with poojan so he could show me what to do and how to lift, to gain muscle and lose fat. I have been seeing Mr. Shah for 1-on-1 personal training since April of 2024. When we started, I was an XXL in shirt size, and could not even sit down in a button up. In the 3 months I have been seeing him, my strength has increased, my confidence levels are way up, and I can finally sit down in a button up shirt, comfortably. I had a consultation yesterday which was free. The facility he works at is small and keep extremely nice! 24hrs as well. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Able to relate to my chronic illnesses that make it hard for my fitness journey. We did a mobility training which was hard but so enjoyable. Pooj worked with me back in 2022. I was getting ready for a trip and had limited time to train. He helped me cut down on wasted time in the gym. I am the type of person to take breaks in between sets and with my schedule I didn't have as long as I was used too for the gym. He kept me on pace and kept the workouts fun. I definitely felt stronger and more mobile after just a couple of weeks. He introduced me to some new exercises that I still do to this day, and worked in some of the exercises I already enjoyed. Just to show how he operates... I was struggling to get up 40lbs dumbbells for a bench press, early Sept of 2022 for a set at the beginning of our workout.
