I purchased a goat yoga class at Simply Well for my mother for her 75th birthday. I did not attend the class, but my mother did. She had an absolutely wonderful time. Loved my first class this morning (chair yoga). Admittedly, the Zoom thing is a bit weird, but it works. It was very well done and the instructor, Diana, and other participants were welcoming. I was able to see the poses and follow the instructions. Although attending in person would be ideal, there is a sort of plus in being able to do it from home, too.I just found out yesterday, after having signed up for the class, that I have a "frozen shoulder" and I started PT this afternoon. It seems clear that participating in some classes will dovetail very nicely with my PT and be a big help.I did yoga years ago (back when I could get up and down off the floor) and I always loved it. I should have checked this out when this quarantine business started. It would have been such a great way to help me stay more healthy, both mentally and physically.

I loved my prenatal yoga class with Michelle. She really helped with some soreness and issues stretching out parts of my body that have become so tight with pregnancy. I have been in this instructor's classes over the past year or so since she has become certified and taken over another instructor's class. Her instructing ability is superb. She has taught different classes previously. Her poses are spot on and her instruction technique is one of calmness and patience. She speaks clearly, in a quiet but loud enough for all to hear. The class is small and every week she is courteous and asks if there is any person who might have something specific they would like to work on and she will incorporate poses to work on that part of the body. And I do notice that she looks at every person's posture and if needed give positive remarks to the "class" but will be actually pointed to the student in question. Her knowledge grows every week and I notice different poses to include balance poses being added every week and other being dropped. So actually I don't even know time is up for the end of the class. I THINK THAT IS A SUPERB TEACHER!
NOTE: I exercise daily at another gym but make sure to attend this instructor's class weekly!

Simply put, Yoga at Simply Well is fantastic. Specifically, Michele Landis, who has a yoga class (Restore Your Core) for pelvic floor dysfunction, is so knowledgeable and passionate about helping others who suffer with the discomfort of this condition. I have never seen an instructor so concerned about the people in her class as Michele. She goes above and beyond just leading/teaching a yoga class. Michele provides additional information outside of the class even sending a video she made just to show me how to go up & down stairs in order to mitigate pain in my knees/back. I cannot recommend Michele Landis and her yoga classes highly enough. The venue is beautiful, and the classes are taught with compassion and a great depth of knowledge.

I highly recommend the Restore Your Core class! I developed diastasis recti (separated abdominal muscles, i.e. mummy tummy) over the course of three pregnancies. My weakened core has lead to occasional back pain and the occasional post-childbirth sneeze leakage.
It's advised to steer clear of yoga as it can worsen the condition. This came as a big disappointment as someone who has always enjoyed practicing yoga. I was so happy to discover a yoga class that is not only safe for me, but will help heal my core!
Michelle is so passionate and informative! The class size is small, which allows for individual attention. I've tried online programs in the past, but having in-person one-on-one guidance is so helpful. Practicing an exercise I enjoy has increased my motivation to work on this issue!
This class is not just for moms! Anyone who has back pain, or sits a lot (or even wears shoes...that should cover everyone!) will benefit from learning this information to heal, strengthen, and use our cores correctly. Thanks, Michelle, for being an advocate for this issue and caring deeply about helping others!

The studio environment and staff are great! My only wish is that the room were larger and/or the # of registrants per class were decreased/capped off. I attended a class recently that was very crowded (13). Too many people inhibits your ability to move freely and hence prevents you from fully enjoying the class. A second room would be wonderful although Iβm not sure that is possible. Of course, more students would make parking more challenging. I have and will recommend Yoga at Simply Well to others!

This was my 2nd ever Yoga class (last one was 10 years ago, I'd done a few videos over the years). I found it very accessible and not intimidating for a beginner. It was a much richer experience than any video I've done because of the atmosphere and details. There was plenty of generous equipment to use which just made it so simple and effortless. The teacher was so approachable and made the day very comfortable. It was clear she was knowledgeable and the office was well coordinated to answer questions that were more in depth. I'm looking forward to making this a regular thing.

Accommodating many skill levels. For example, not good at Yoga, so "Gentle Yoga" is my path. Very good at meditation, and it is practiced in a way that there are minutes of silence for me to do my own thing in my mind during that time (affirmations). Energy circle--love it! I look forward to drumming soon. I appreciate how the mind-body-spirit connection is honored at Simply Well. Staff are genuinely warm individuals. There are many different classes to choose from so, depending on what I need, I can always find a class on a day and at a time that works for me. The classes are challenging and fun and I learn something new every time I go. I would, and do, highly recommend Simply Well to everyone I know!

The hot yoga sessions are instructed professionally and are suited to meet individual needs while keeping the pace appropriate for the overall session. Lisa Stets does a great job showing us the positions and their variations/adjustments, explaining their benefits, and maintaining a good flow throughout the session.

I have to say all my experiences at Simply well have enhanced and made me a stronger person mentally as well as physically. You ask me why? It has been a journey of a cancer survivor beginning with gentle yoga with Diana Robinson and Reiki. I also began with consultation for dietary adjustment for my chemotherapy, which helped me identify foods that would be better to both strengthen and nourish my body. I went from barely able to walk steady or climb stairs to a person now able to walk well and climb stairs without a hitch. I thank Simply Well for all the positive support to accept who I am and love who I am through workshops, classes, pain/ holistic management, Reiki therapy, spine adjustments, restorative classes and the positive approach to helping others individually. So when I think of Simply Well I feel so good and want to be there whenever I can.

I have practiced yoga for several years in many different states, and must rate Michele's studio as the best. She is an inspiring, awesome teacher, and all the instructors are the highest quality trainers I have ever experienced.
