Jasmine has cultivated such beautiful and safe space here at Soul Haum. Soul Haum offers a variety of yoga classes as well as dance. I experienced the African dance lastnight and it was so much fun, accessible, and a great way to end a really long day. The instructor Ryir is truly a natural and a pleasure to have class with. I will continue to tell friends and family about Soul Haum! <3

Yaa, the owner of Soul Haum has cultivated a beautiful space in the heart of Philly where we can escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Practicing yoga in this studio is a calming, welcoming experience. Each instructor is trained to cater to all skill levels, whether beginner or advanced in their practice. I’m so grateful for this space, and I am always happy to support a Black woman-owned business. ❤️

Soul Haum is exactly what the city needed. A space where people from all walks of life can feel welcome and safe. The owner and instructors truly care about their work. No matter if you are a beginner or more experienced in your yoga practice Soul Haum has a class for you.

Incredible experience. We arranged a private class for our Bachelorette party and Jasmine was so accommodating. She led a beautiful practice for our huge range of abilities in her lovely studio. Highly recommend!

Healing is hard. It's ugly. It's messy. And many times it's lonely. Especially if you're a Black woman... A paragon of strength, and otherwise the one that everyone else depends on.
This is why Soul Haum, and in particular healers like Bee, are so important.
I'm in the midst of my own healing process; Giving myself the opportunity to finally mourn the people and things I've lost during COVID. Releasing them as I transition into my post-pandemic life.
I drove all the way up from Maryland to have this experience. I initially encountered Soul Haum on TikTok and I could almost feel the healing through the screen as I watched the clip of a one-on-one Thai bodywork session. I knew instinctively that I needed to incorporate that experience into my own process.
While there are plenty of yoga studios in Maryland, there is a dearth of safe spaces. Places where Black women can go to feel uplifted, supported, and safe. Places where we don't have to be characteristically strong, but can lay our burdens down for a little while and rest while being refreshed and poured in to before going back into the world again.
This is the critical difference between Soul Haum and other yoga studios. It's also the difference between healers like Bee versus your average, run-of-the-mill yoga instructors.
My private Thai yoga session was more than just an opportunity to stretch and breathe... It was an opportunity for me to break. To fall apart and release in a supportive and safe space so that I can do the work of putting myself back together better than I was before. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the experience I had was nothing short of restorative. I left the studio feeling lighter and while the work is not done, I feel like something significant was accomplished during my session.
I'm so grateful to Bee for being an integral part of my healing journey and I look forward to the expansion of Soul Haum to the countless communities who will undoubtedly benefit from their inclusive and restorative healing work.

Hands down the best yoga studio/classes I’ve experienced. The owner and instructors create a warm, welcoming, and nourishing environment that is open to everyone. If you’re someone who doesn’t feel welcome in westernized yoga environments then you should check out Soul Haum.

I attended the Thai Yoga session June 18 with Jasmine and Bee. I felt like I took a nap without actually going to sleep. Tea was offered before and after class. Bee walks around and adjust your body while doing yin yoga. Jasmine explains that it's a very intimate class and gives you the option not be touched at any point during the session which would turn into a yin yoga session minus Thai part (the touching). It's a small studio so no walk-ups, very clean, and peaceful. Friendly atmosphere.

I DIG yoga with Jasmine! She welcomes you to the mat in a way that makes you leave even your own self-judgment at the door. It’s fun. It’s relevant. It’s safe. I highly recommend it!

I’ve done virtual classes for some time and I love her teaching style. She creates a very welcoming and calming environment. I was a newbie to yoga but I was able to learn easily from her. She gives options as you move and always reminds you to go with your own flow (even if you choose to just lay on the mat). You can access recordings so if you can’t make the live class, you can just do it when you want. The yoga mat I purchased from her is by far my favorite for comfortability, durability, and of course style. I really have nothing but good things to say and can’t wait to attend an in person class soon!

Soul Haum is a beautiful yoga space with style and chill vibes. The props are beautiful and brand new here- big fluffy bolsters, yoga blankets, and blocks. Perfect for self-care Sunday with Yin and Restorative.
Jasmine is a great teacher and makes everyone who comes to her class feel welcome, included and at home- with a cup of tea.

this is safest place ive ever been. both virtually and now in person. Jasmine really knows what she is talking about when it comes to yoga for all bodies. from the language she uses, the music she plays, the props and supportive aromatherapies, everything is so intentional and beautiful. I really got into her classes when I left one class feeling like I got a back massage - never thought it was possible, especially after a bad car accident. I recommend these classes to my 69 yr old father and he is not longer scared of yoga. do yourself a favor and I see she's about to do Somatic experiencing which is about to take bodily healing to the next level!
