There are a lot of activities to sign up for here. There seem to be activities for homeschool families as well as preschool aged kids. Plenty of room to practice for your sports.

I was there for a JBF sales. The sale was the normal but the bathroom situation was horrible. Most of the toilets were not flushed, pee all over the seats and the smell was terrible. The bathrooms need attention.

The batting cages are awesome here. Great deal for tokens and no one else was here. Some issues with the equipment, but the attendent was prompt to address it. They have 40mph,60mph, and 80mph. We tried them all and had a blast!

Great besides the fact that as a player in a frisbee league, which pays money. There unfortunately isn't usually a score keeper. Pretty disappointing.

The hours posted online are not correct!!
I've driven out here several times and they were closed.
Also have been out here to use the batting cages and they were closed for repair. Once again.. nothing posted on their website.
Whoever is in charge of this facility should be reimbursing me for gas money.

We recently found this place and my daughter and us love it. The staff really cares about each and every one of their students, my daughter has learn more here in a few months than in her previous place for two years . I really recommend it for boys and girls.

I attended the Weeusables event looking for bargains for my grandson. It was a long walk from the parking lot to the building. It was a long walk from the entrance to the event. I looked around at all the different areas. They did have it nicely organized but there were not many bargains. Most of this items were two or three times the cost of what you would pay at a yard sale. I found one item for which I had to stand in line over 20 minutes waiting to check out. The facility is big but I was not impressed.

I would highly discourage anyone from using the Spooky Nook Lanco Gymnastics Program. The management decided to discontinue their USAG Trampoline and Tumbling Program with 2 weeks notice and no explanation to the families. They informed the coaches that the program wasn't profitable enough for them but refused to meet with families. All of this was done a month before the athletes were scheduled to compete in a national competition they all qualified for throughout the year. The director of the gymnastics program was directly involved in the decision and made no effort the speak with or go through options for their athletes. I would encourage anyone considering the gymnastics program to look at the many other options in the area. You never know when you're program won't be profitable enough for them.

Although itβs a great place to have sports itβs also the most expensive place at the very least the parking should be free. They are getting enough money coming in that parking could or rather should be free that or if you have a weekend pass maybe have parking included.

Spooky nook really needs to do something about the traffic coming out of their east Petersburg location. I should not have to wait 10 minutes to get off the exit because their traffic is just running the stop sign to get out and cutting people off. I just got off the exit and almost watched 4 accidents in 10 minutes. They should consider having someone out there to direct the traffic.

Tried to go to the batting cages with my 11 year old son so he could get some practice and we kept getting cut in line by 40 year old men. They were very rude and not following safety rules such as wearing helmets while being in the cages. Also they were saying inappropriate things in Spanish towards me and my son which I'm fluent in. Very disappointing.

Great auxillary field house for Spooky nook sports. Two turf fields that can be opened up to one large field. Plenty of bleachers for spectators. It has batting cages, and another field area for gymnastics. Parking is easy, plentiful and very accessible.

My daughter and I really enjoy the gymnastics program here. They are much more organized and informative than other gyms. They also don't do last minute mandatory fundraisers. The coaches are friendly and much more professional than other gyms as well. I wish we made the switch sooner. π

I'm not one to frequently leave bad reviews, but this place deserves it. Three weeks now we have been bringing our children for soccer practice. While the facility does offer quite a few different sport options and equipment, the state of the facility is very poor. The bathrooms have been a disaster every week, with trash cans full and overflowing, trash all over the floor, soap dispensers empty, and generally not very clean. The staff are not very helpful, they are more interested in playing on their phones or talking to one another instead of paying any attention to the customers.
It is a shame that the reputation of this facility is being tarnished by lazy staff and poor management. While there are many opportunities for sports practice and training my desire to return is ruined by seemingly no care for the facility or the customer experience.

This place is pretty nice and adequate for sorts activities.
One down side is that the turf fields end abruptly. They have netting around the sides but itβs loose and does little to aid in stopping effectively. If you are looking to run or dive at the edges of the field, be careful as you only have about a foot and a half of leeway before you encounter landing on the cold hard cement. Speaking from experience, my butt was bruised for a week lol.
The turf is the rubber beaded kind and unfortunately is extremely slick. Classic turf shoes wonβt cut it as youβll be sliding when trying to make quick cuts or sprints on the field. Hopefully Spooky Nook will invest some money into their recently acquired LANCO campus, as it could benefit from it.

Not a horrible sports complex but not great either, the turf fields are nice but they are a bit small and the ends are close to the wall, also the corner behind the batting cages is very trashy could definitely use a major cleaning.

I went here for the Record Show. The record show is awesome. The Nook made the record show use a separate entrance further away from the event that goes right by the entrance marked for non record show people. I sat down on a bench in the lobby and was told to move because I was part of the record show. It was pretty cool.

Nice place to play soccer. Some of the refs donβt know the rules and donβt know how to be professional itβs sad. Soccer is all about respect, you canβt have a ref in your face telling you to shut up. Thatβs rude. Refs your please be respectful to all players we love the game thatβs why we choose Spooky Nook Sports Lanco.

I would give 0 stars if I could but I guess one will suffice .. Iβve been coming to Lanco since I was 11 and since Spooky Nook took over , itβs been nothing but downhill .. they now charge more , donβt allow to play at certain times , and half the new staff and refs donβt know the rules of the sports (actually not a joke) .. unfortunately , I will continue to have to play at Lanco because itβs the only facility in Lancaster that has good turf to play soccer on .. Spooky Nook complex spends millions and millions of dollars and they couldnβt put one decent turf soccer field ? Very nice .. and please spooky nook managers or whoever reads this review , donβt waste your time on saying βhey , sorry youβre upset , send us a message and weβll see how we can remedy thisβ because youβll be wasting your time .
