We went on a Friday afternoon and there was no wait for anything. We went rock climbing and that was such a fun time. We have been rock climbing at other facilities and this was just as good. The process was super quick and easy, we signed the waivers and then purchased the tickets. In less than 10 minutes, we were already climbing. Not sure how it is on the weekend but it wouldn't hurt to buy tickets in advance.

Place is really something. Bring comfortable shoes, make sure your phone is charged and have plenty of money handy. lol.
There is a hotel attached but we stayed a bit further north for my Son's tournament, as being there all day and night would be overkill for me (Lancaster is nearby and actually a great place to stay imo)
They charge for parking (which is insane) and charge quite a bit to get in to actually watch your own kids play hoop (at least my Sons tournament was for basketball).
The kids sports money grab is out of control........we are fortunate to be able to afford it, but I think it has reached new heights of pathetic......

Amazing facility, but only in it for the money. There is no age verification done; teams can sign up for any age division they want with no checks.
Our 14u team played against a 16u team......clearly an age discrepancy and the game was allowed to happen.
This is not a cheap weekend and the lack of management oversight is disgraceful!!

Between the lack of professional staffing and the unsettling atmosphere created by certain male members, I honestly donβt know which is worse. Iβd heard stories about the toxic culture here and unfortunately, they turned out to be true. The behavior of some individuals borders on predatory, and itβs disturbing that management continues to turn a blind eye. Iβve been a member at many gyms and have never witnessed anything like this before.

Overpriced, unhealthy food. There's more bleachers for spectators, even for the blue courts. Although the seating on the blue courts is outside of the net, there's more seats! If you're filming, you'll still have to bring a chair. The courts are marked better now, so it's easier to locate the courts.

The Nook has got to be one of the worst laid out facilities we've ever been to. The main floors are so close together you can't get to the back courts without walking on the front court floors.
Now let's go to the we really don't care about you or your team courts. Snap together flooring that doesn't look like it's been cleaned since it was put down and probably wasn't even clean then. Hardly any seating for fans or coaches. But hold on I forgot if you're not on the main floors coaches don't want to see you right. Oh and another great idea let's put nets all the way around the place so while you are trying to stand and watch the game you have to look through it. That's a brilliant idea.
Let's also make sure the nook makes every dollar you can. Not one spot to fill up a water bottle so you have to buy bottled water. Because they now put up a sign on the door saying no coolers. Heaven forbid someone bring in snacks or bottles of water for the athletes.
Hamilton Ohio Nook is by far the best of the 2 Nooks
Oh and let's not forget the 40 dollars to park on top of the 95 dollars to get in.

I have been going to Spooky Nook for many years for my sonβs AAU basketball tournaments. The facility itself is great and massive. The issues lie with the parking and admissions process. The admission process changes ever time I come. Last weekend there were booths which were super fast and effective. This weekend there were fold out tables with admission lines going out the door. It is a complete money grab to charge for parking at this facility. You are in the middle of nowhereβ¦there is no where else to park!! To spend $30 for parking for a weekend on top of $55 for one weekend ticket is insanity. I would have given 5 stars if not for these major problems with this place. No other facility I have been to for tournaments charges for parking.

Spooky nook is a awesome place for sports it's beautiful inside but to pay to park everyday is in sane also you haft to pay to enter everyday $20 a person to get a smoothie from the stand is like $12 we got a egg and cheese mcmuffin for $8 a piece a tea from the food court was $4.25 the referees are terrible especially the younger ones our coach told one of his players to warm up before the game and the ref said I'm talking to him in a very mean demeanor the coach said I'm his coach and I want him to warm up then the ref wanted to fight coach people had to hold the ref back he said I will take this shirt off and beat your ass I'm a grown man so then ref went after a dad of one of our kids dad that 62 years old gonna beat his ass then the young lady at the table looked at the coach and said you want me to release the ref to beat your ass I said no we need a new ref she said no you need a new coach very unprofessional something has to change and the security is all young kids change needs to happen

Place is a dump. Itβs obvious that the Beilerβs are just out for profit and profit alone. Pay to enter, pay to park. Once inside is comical - the staffing is adequate at all points where there is revenue generation: Entry, Concessions, Activities, etc. Yet anywhere revenue is not generated, staffing ceases to exist. I spent a tournament weekend here and physically stared at & smelled the same puddles of urine on menβs room floor. I stared at the same trash overflowing from garbage cans and the exact gum, trash and tobacco wads spit into the urinals. Never once did I see custodial staff in an entire weekend. Obviously they donβt clean overnight either as I saw the same garbage for 3 consecutive days. It almost became a game for me to meander in disgust just observing how this place has gone down hill. Staffing that costs money instead of accepts your money is 200% non-existent. What a shame for our region & the principles that the Beilerβs claim they built the place for.

I was in a large meeting for my company. We had a huge conference room. It was well cooled as the outdoor temps were in the high 90s, indexing in the 100s. The facility had numerous amenities. We were served lunch for two days, which was absolutely delicious, and right on time. The staff serving the food did an awesome job and almost seemed invisible as they did not bother any of the guests. If anything, they were friendly and helpful. As someone working for a large company, I would recommend this venue to hold large meetings. Absolutely accommodating to all types of groups.

So I really don't know how to express how I feel about places like Spook Nook. 1st off, it's very disorganized. Clearly charging whatever they can get away with, without the quality. After paying $20 for an entrance, chances are there will be no purchase of any other items. I guess it doesn't matter to Spook Nook as they are probably outside vendors. There was talk that my daughter would like to come to see her daughter play but the price. She's a single mom of 3. So I (grammy) will go without pop pop cause we all want to go to her games tomorrow. So again it will be another$20 per person to get in.
Oh and not to mention the $10 parking fee. You better figure out your parking situation.charging without really having the space?
I get you probably don't care but I needed to express how I felt and how I see your priorities at Spook Nook. MONEY THATS IT

Sunday 6/22/25 at 7:10am place just opened and they just opened the doors. Walk into the bathroom stalls to piss and shit all over the seats and floors. Mind you there was a huge wrestling tournament yesterday so I am assuming they had no one cleaning these restrooms. Place is absolutely disgusting and smells like an outhouse. Given how nice this place is you would think the owners would do better in maintaining and the cleanliness of the restrooms. Garbage in the arcade for the last two days laying on the games.

EXPENSIVE. $25 pp to get in for 2 games on day 1. $15 pp to get in for 1 game on day 2. $10 to park. Add your tournament fee on top of it. Scorekeepers were on their phones, absolutely not paying attention to the games. This occurred SEVERAL games we watched. Some even wore headphones while on their phones during games. Officiating was terrible. A lot of the fouls called were mainly cheap shooting fouls but the rest of the game was like watching a wrestling match. Bathrooms and food court were super messy. Too many people and not enough workers to keep it clean. Disappointed to say the least.

When we came back the following day my 12yo was hoping he would be working again! I wish I remember the young man's name who was working but it was on Sat during the summer mayhem event. Hello, I play on a aau team. Today at spooky nook was the worst experience I have ever had there. My team and I entered a tournament for sixth graders because weβre in sixth grade. We had our first game at 4 pm. The referees were horrible. Spooky Nook needs reffs that are going to do their job and be serious about it. My teammates and I got fouled numerous times and no call. When we would inbound the ball the opposing team member stepped out abounds and fouled the in bounder . STILL NO CALL. She did it five more times again. NO CALL?!?!!? My coaches were furious. One of the reff said βChill out broβ when my coach was furious. Spooky Nook needs new reffs and not teenagers that try to dunk when a game is going on. Thank you I hope that spooky nook fires them!

Had rated the Nook 5 stars previously, but the Customer Service has gotten worse and worse here!
And to top it off, now they are instructing the Front Desk to not answer their phones on the weekend during tournaments.
We have to drive 25+ minutes to get there, and we like to call and make sure the turf is available to use before we drive all the way there.
So we literally have to call the fitness center and hope the person there knows how to look that up for us. Which 90% of the time that person either doesn't know how, or just won't look it up.
If you're not there for a tournament, they really don't care about your business anymore. Sad...

At a tournament this past weekend and it is not what it use to be. Scheduled at a local high school for one day of tournament and then Spooky Nook the next. At Spooky nook the basketball court was covered in popcorn and the bathrooms were disgusting with toilet water all over the floor. Not the experience I was expecting. And not to mention referees that must have been picked up off the street. Not just bad calls, doing things like starting the game before teams were even on the court, giving the ball to the wrong teams. It was a very bad experience and something they should be ashamed of.

We go there pretty often for basketball tournaments. For the amount of money they charge for parking and to get in there, the parking lots should not have potholes and there should be more work put into the courts in the back where it is hard to differentiate between the different refβs whistles. I should also be able to voice these things to the staff without them giving me an attitude and rushing me away.

Massive facility and well run. Was here for a three day basketball tournament. The variety of courts we played on was significant and some of them could use a little TLC. Some acoustic tiles on the ceiling and walls with the use of softer whistles would probably cut down on the number of inadvertent play stoppages caused by a neighboring court ref's whistle.

This is the place you go to for any sports tournament imaginable for a "cash grab". How ever they can get the most teams out to make money they do it. Parking is typically horrible at $10 and you have to pay in addition to the door entrance. The door for the last event was $26 for the day but oddly enough $80 for a 3 day weekend. Confusing. For this bargin you get crooked backboard, flooring coming up and parents running the clock.
