Went in on August with the signed form from my husband cancelling his membership. Since then September, October and November payments have been taken out of his bank account! Called them and the guy said he would look into it and call us back. Never heard from him. Tried calling several times since that, no one will answer the phone and the voicemail is always full were I can't leave a message. Unprofessional way to run a so called business

Big changes at Sussex - out with the old, in with the new. New ownership is doing a great job revitalizing the place. Avoid the crowded corporate fitness center feel and get down to business with a variety of equipment and classes at an affordable price. Great location - centrally located between Broomall, Havertown, and Springfield.

This place is a mess, and the current owner will not do anything about it.

Today was another reminder of why I struggle keep my black owned and operated gym open and why it is necessary for blacks to have facilities that belong to them. Today I went to visit a gym in Broomall Pa. (with US currency in hand.) My intention was to work out with some of my athletes and fellowship with another athlete who trains there. I supposed they were overwhelmed by the presents of (3) black men at their door. I was told that they were not familiar with the person whom I asked for and that I could not just come there that I had to have an appointment. I was also told “without asking” that the only trainer on their staff was busy with clients and that I could take her business card and call back to make an appointment. I declined staff workers offer, offered the blessings of God, bid a good day, and left.
Later today I received a text message which lead me to understand that “three Big Black guys came to the gym/ Facility” today looking for a certain party (whose first name I never mentioned and whom I certainly did not refer to as a trainer.) A preacher (yes I’m Big), a 170lb5’9” artist and a125lb 5”7’ film maker. It’s alright to go out to dinner but have something at home in case you don’t like what their serving.
