Have been here twice and cannot wait to get back once I’m back in town! Great coaches! Fun, addicting and very good at making a newbie like me feel comfortable and capable.

This was the first gym I ever went to and it will probably be the only one too.
The owners and coaches make this place feel like a family.
The members also make you feel welcome and never left behind.
They have great classes daily, covering a multitude of areas...weight lifting, yoga, CrossFit, etc.
There are also competitions throughout the year too if you want to take part.
Highly recommend you test it out and see for yourself.
UPDATE 9/14/23
Took a year off. Back and it's still the same great place to get a workout. Classes are fun and the people are welcoming.
Just try it out!

Be careful when attending programs at this gym. I tore my muscle in my chest and arm
while doing one of the work outs that they recommended during one of the classes. Their trainers do start off with a warm up which is great but they don’t seem to have a program structured to assess your fitness ability at the outset and tailor your workouts according to your ability. While conducting research I discovered that a good CrossFit gym does an initial assessment of each new member, rating their abilities on 15 categories of fitness, before assigning them to 1 of 6 levels in its training program. I never was put through an assessment to rate my ability. The trainers here do pressure you to increase your weight through each set however you are on your own to determine what weight is safe for you and they seem to be use to working with experienced weight lifters so they won’t really help you to determine a safe lifting weight for the individual. So, if you’re an experienced weight lifter this may be a gym for you, but if you’re a beginner, Test your metal, in my opinion is not a safe establishment. It seems like they are very money motivated. They try to gain as much members as possible without caring for each individual members’ safety. It also has old workout equipment and the facility and staff really needs an overhaul to bring it up to speed. Attaching a picture of my injury as well.

Found this gym when I moved to the area a few years ago and have become a regular member. Highly recommend for people traveling to the Lehigh Valley for business, those new to the area, or anyone who wants to get into Crossfit! The variety of class times is helpful for a busy schedule - especially the 5 a.m. class offering. Coaches and members are super friendly. Definitely recommend!

In Feb of 2015 I started my fitness journey. I weighed 337lbs at the time and decided
to turn things around so I joined the local gym and read everything I could get my hands on regarding
fitness/nutrition. In 2017 I had stumbled upon a documentary regarding the CrossFit Games. I was mesmerized by the quality of the athleticism and found it striking that the female competitors were as impressive as the males and now I wanted to know more of the sport that produced such amazing athletes.
So I explored the sport of CrossFit through social media, Google, and various podcasts. By the summer of
2018 (now at 270lbs) it became apparent to me that the CrossFit culture/community was a unique and superlative fitness model and it was time for me to try it. So I did my due diligence researching all the CrossFit gyms in my area. All were impressive but CROSSFIT ADVANCED was particularly noteworthy. The facility and energy level was off the charts. As I observed the members in full swing it became apparent that the mobility and athletic functionality was simply beyond my abilities. Everything I had read and heard regarding the CROSSFIT model was inviting. The CrossFit community is known for its ability to take people where ever they are and modify their fitness experience in order to bring them slowly (albeit intensely) to their next level. However it would take another year for my balls to finally drop and 2 weeks ago I took my first complimentary class at CROSSFIT ADVANCED (now 250lbs). That was all I needed- I was hooked and although woefully out of my depth the support from the other members (as I struggled through the challenging workout) made me feel comfortable and eager for the next session. In hind sight I could have joined CrossFit at the very beginning of my journey weighing 337lbs and knowing nothing about fitness and nutrition and I would have had the same positive experience. If your reading this and have always wanted to try CrossFit but are a bit intimidated - don’t be- take a complimentary class and see for yourself- you’ll be glad you did!

There’s no other place I’d rather workout at. At CFA you’re continuously surrounded by good people who are supportive and make you smile and laugh from the moment you enter the building until you leave. As well as encourage you to be the best version of yourself.

This gym is awesome! I have met some of the nicest people in the world at this gym. They really have established a welcoming environment. The coaches are very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. There are people here at all levels of fitness and age range which makes it great for beginners or experienced competitors. I have been a member for a little over a year now and it just keeps getting better. They really invest in making it a great place to workout. There is something new that gets added every year. I didn’t really appreciate how great it was until I went to other CrossFit gyms in the area to compete. I quickly became grateful for the big spacious rooms and all the equipment we have at CFA. Love Love Love CFA!

I can’t give more than 5 stars or I would. This gym is such an awesome place. Despite being 5 years older than when I first started CrossFit, I’ve never been more fit and CrossFit Advanced is a huge reason for that.

CrossFit Advanced has changed my life! I've been to CrossFit affiliates in many different states and countries and never found one with the caliber of coaching or the warm community that I've been lucky enough to find here. I am inspired by fellow members of all shapes and sizes - elite international-level competitors to brave first-timers- and I see all of us changing our bodies and our lives! It's been instrumental in helping me become strong enough to fight off health issues, and to like my body for the first time in my life. I'm so glad I found CFA.
